Shocking. No stars if I had the chance. Was told in store and on order form that my new suite would be delivered by 14/03/25 at the latest. Not heard anything from SCS. I went to the store and spoke to them because customer service don’t bother getting back to us. In store they were all sat on a sofa chilling out waiting for another customer to pounce on but wasn’t interested in what I was there for. Now told end of April. That’s SIX weeks late. And that’s if it arrives by then looking at all the other shocking reviews. Wish we had gone with DFS like last time. Never ever again will I go with SCS and definitely won’t be recommending them.

So the sofa finally arrived SIX weeks late. Really pleased with the sofa. Today I got an email asking me to do a review for SCS. I filled in the review and because I gave them a 1 star rating and explained why they emailed me back stating that they will not publish it. What a joke. A company that is afraid of the truth.

I call twice and on both occasions the staff could not have been more helpful.
On the second occasion when I brought the sofa the salesperson was friendly and took her time to explain everything,

From.the minute I placed my order i was very happy with the service I received I had updates on delivery dates n time slots
On day of delivery the 2 men in question Travis n Simon I have to say were probably the most cheerful helpful and friendly delivery people I have ever met ..they delivered put together and placed exactly as I asked took all their rubbish and were in done n out within 20 mins and had arrived 2 hours early ...10 out of 10

Will in the shop Zoe was great. Made us feel welcome. That was in February. We are now in march the 14. I have been trying to phone scs said I am in a queue still haven't heard anything. You got my money . what's going on . Please someone phone me asap

We arrived at SCS at Tollgate, Colchester to just have a look with no intention of buying anything. Gill greeted us and was very helpful. I ended up buying 2 two seater settees which I can't wait to be delivered!

Ordered our sofa's on 30th December and on the email it said estimated date would be 20th Feb so sold our old ones.
Sent 6 emails with no replys and lost count how many calls to find out where they were. Issues with delivery and wouldn't be in the despatch centre until 5th March. Heard nothing so in queue when calling numerous times to be told it will now be 17th March. No confirmation of this so I'm taking a day off work to wait for delivery. Will do another review if there is no show.

My experience was mainly good. Only downside was lack of communication. My item was delayed a month. I waited 4 months in total.

Very relaxed staff, all very friendly and helpful. Especially Gill, who we deal with shen choosing our new super comfy sofa's. She was extremely knowledgeable and the best part was Gill wasn't trying to push any extra items or warranty, which was a refreshing change from other sofa companies we looked at in Colchester. Sofa delivery

Excellent service, received a text and email the night before confirming delivery date and a text and email the morning of delivery with an eta and a link to track the delivery vehicle. Once arrived very professional and efficient service taking away the packaging and taking a photograph to confirm satisfactory delivery

Staff at scs shop were really helpful and friendly with the purchase.
On day of delivery I had chippy and Eddie deliver it. Really fast assembly, friendly guys who were careful of the house.
Sofas are exactly what we were after.
Great experience overall

The delivery team were good natured and did not shirk when knowing that the intended room was through the house and into an outbuilding 150 feet away. It was a tight squeeze but they managed it with a smile and without damage (apart from the odd finger). They were quick and efficient, conscious of doing a good job but also of getting to the next customer without unnecessary delay. Top marks from me.

Zoe was very helpful with pressing us. Felt comfortable taking time to decide. Excellent manor.

First time making a purchase at SCS and would definitely recommend it for all your sofa needs. Excellent communication received as to where my order was, delivery day communication is even better with exact tracking available. Delivery drivers were extremely polite and helpful.

We had an appointment with Paul at the Tollgate, Colchester store. He was attentive without being pushy. He was knowledgeable and helped pick the chair that was right for us.

I went in with my mum and nan last wednesday, Paul helped us and was really friendly yet professional. He priced up what I wanted but I couldn't make a decision as needed my husband with me. Paul was understanding and answered all my questions. When I went back saturday with my husband we dealt with Paul again and I will be recommending him and scs to anyone who asks where they should go. So far so good can not fault the service recieved in store.
