Delivery on time, professional and with care

I would have given this service 0 stars if it was an option.

The delivery crew were hours late, complained how tired they were, didn’t seem to know how to set the sofa up correctly, lost a part of the sofa (a foot), left without telling us they were doing so, left out front door and side gates wide open and left our sofa in 5 pieces, not connected to the mains with the headrests in the incorrect places.

I called them and asked them to come back and they refused.

My dogs escaped through the open gates and were nearly killed on the road

I called the store in Llanelli to complain and they reported this to the warehouse in Bridgend.

A supervisor from the warehouse called me and promised that he and a colleague would come to my house the following day (Friday 21st) to connect the sofa correctly and bring the missing foot.

He did not arrive so I called the warehouse on the 21st. The manager told me that the supervisor should never have promised this and that no one could call that day.

He sent a crew out on the following day (22nd) who assembled the sofa correctly.

I am thoroughly disappointed with the service I have received, first from the crew and secondly from the supervisor.

Despite requesting delivery be made in a small lorry due to difficulty with driveway, delivery was made in a huge lorry. However, despite this, the delivery team navigated the long narrow driveway perfectly and were polite and professional throughout. They delivered and unpacked our furniture perfectly and it was a pleasure dealing with them.

What was most important to me was the fact that the company kept in touch on the delivery

The delivery crew turned up at the appointed time after phoning ahead to inform us of the time they would arrive. The two men were very friendly and courteous and very professional in the way they carried out their duties.The two armchairs and sofa were unpacked, assembled and wired up in no time at all.Excellent service.

The whole experience from first visiting the store, to placing my order and taking delivery has been excellent. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. Also the regular updates on the progress were great too. Thank you to Russell and Simon for a punctual, efficient and smooth delivery and set up too. I am a very happy customer! Thank you.

Delayed by approximately 3 weeks then had a txt giving me a date. Was told I'd receive a txt day before stating approximately time this never happened to got a call 2 hours before delivery. My wife was at home waiting for delivery and she suffers with anxiety due to a stroke 18 months ago. Second time bought furniture to SCS...never again

Great instore but the aftercare is absolutely disgraceful. Very unhappy with the service. Nobody has called me back from customer services. It seems that they have no interest. Only had my sofa for a year and the stitching has come away and there is ongoing issues with the recliner. Can someone contact me to sort. I would not recommend scs to anyone

We were given a date on our delivery sofa and recliner chair, and only the sofa was delivered. I phoned to inquire why my recliner hasn’t been delivered, only to be told that it is being delivered in 2 weeks time, and the receptionist put the phone down on me.

No communication at all with the delivery guy’s. They didn’t even demonstrate how the new sofa bed works. Literally assembled and left it where requested. Left and shut the door behind them didn’t even say goodbye.
I thought this unprofessional and rude.

I’ve just visited the newly refurbished store in Llanelli and we were hounded by the staff, we had the initial greeting, which was fine and said to the salesman we didn’t exactly know what we wanted and we just wanted to browse but if we had a question we’d find someone, but then 2 men followed us around the store, (did they think I was going to steal a sofa?) my wife and I wanted to discuss what we liked and sofa style etc, they were listening to our private conversations i know this because they pounced whenever they thought they could. We left, letting them know we were disgruntled. We then went to the Swansea branch and were given privacy to browse.

Delivery crew phoned me ahead of delivery to give me a time and were excellent with delivery and assembly of my two new sofas

I ordered and payed for my sofa on 19/01/2025 and writing this today 01/05/2025 I still haven't had my sofa delivered. I have even purchased insurance for the sofa which as we speak is counting down so I will have less time remaining too
First and last time I will be buying from this company

Polite and very efficient delivery excellent service

Can’t fault the staff in store they were brilliant (Llanelli). However customer services is another story. Impossible to contact. We’ve made numerous attempts, queue in ring back, don’t bother that never ring back. Email, still waiting for response. It’s been more than 4 weeks since a failed attempt was made to replace mechanism on our reclining sofa. And we’re still waiting. Staff in store can’t assist until they hear from customer service. What a joke. If I could give no stars I would but one was the lowest option.

Staff so friendly

We had to wait a little while for the order however, it was being made so understandable. Were were kept up to date with regard to the delivery into store. Once the suite was in store were then informed by text and email with a delivery date to us. This gave us time to remove the old ones and prepare accordingly. All good.

GRATEFUL TO SCS WITH SERVICE PROVIDED

JUST BOUGHT A NEW SUITE AT TROSTRE. The assistance provided and advice given was exception. Nothing too much trouble and Andrea was fantastic, giving us time to consider, with all options explained. If there was a discount available or something not essential it was discussed. As expected the quality of the suite was far better than the Competitors at a similar price. We were extremely grateful to Andrea and wish to acknowledge how much we valued her time/effort in making our purchase, THANK YOU, SO MUCH.
