Martin Brown could not have been more helpful - he listened to our requirements and directed us towards a great car. He gave us time to consider the options - was knowledgeable and informative on the differing specifications. I would unreservedly recommend Sinclair Group generally and Martin Brown in particular.

AVOID!
I purchased my 2017 Škoda Yeti as an Approved Used vehicle from Sinclair Škoda Swansea because I expected the reassurance and customer service that comes with buying from a main dealer.
Unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing. After discovering corrosion hidden behind the rear number plate around the factory mounting points, I arranged for the vehicle to be inspected. Attending the appointment required a considerable amount of time and effort as its a two hour round trip, yet I then had to chase for an update a week later as nobody contacted me with the outcome.
They rejected it on the basis it hadn't had annual bodywork inspections, despite no mention of this in Skoda UK's T&Cs! they refuse to provide evidence that they checks were carried out before I purchased the vehicle.
The response I eventually received felt like a standard warranty rejection rather than a genuine investigation into the cause of the issue. Despite the corrosion being around both factory mounting points in an area concealed behind the number plate, there was no meaningful explanation of how it had supposedly been caused by external damage.
I appreciate that not every warranty claim will be approved, but I do expect clear communication, a thorough investigation and customer service that reflects the reputation of a main dealer. Sadly, on this occasion, I received none of those.
A reputable independent bodyshop have confirmed it is through corrosion and Sinclair Skoda have basically dismissed their professional opinion as lies.
Based on this experience, I would not recommend Sinclair Škoda Swansea.

Purchasing an Approved Used vehicle from a main dealer should provide exactly the peace of mind and reassurance you described and we do understand finding paintwork corrosion can be frustrating. In this instance, our Paint & Body Warranty Inspector thoroughly assessed your Yeti and confirmed that based on Škoda UK’s warranty criteria and the vehicle’s service history, we would not be able to take any remedial action on their behalf.
Whilst we understand this isn't the outcome you were hoping for, our role is to assess claims in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
You should have already received more information on this decision via email. As a next step, we recommend you contact Škoda UK Customer Services who may be able to assist further.

Excellent Dealership

Exemplary service from the sales team…
Exemplary service from the sales team at Sinclair Skoda Swansea. Treated myself to a nearly new Kamiq as an early retirement present and the team could not have been more helpful and friendly. Rob (and Charles in follow up) were not pushy at all and answered all of my questions without fuss or drama. Would highly recommend.

We were highly satisfied with our experience when going through the process of buying our new car at Skoda Swansea. We were met by a highly professional and very knowledgeable member of staff Martin Brown who gave us all the information we were looking for and did not feel pressurised at all throughout the whole process from start to finish. Very nice Lady ,who's name i didn't catch at reception, provided me with a nice cup of coffee and a cake, while waiting for Joe to handover vehicle i purchased .
