Just used this service and I am amazed at how straightforward it is. There are very helpful (and accurate) guides throughout which was very necessary for entering the bank details for transfer. It takes a bit of effort to get all the details in place but once done, it is all saved for subsequent use. The transfer itself was effortless. Although the exchange rate is marginally worse than you would get at the bank, the much lower transfer fee more than makes up for it. And you have a lot of time too. I would highly recommend this service for expats in China.

SkyRemit's exchange service out of China is long overdue as anyone who has spent an angst filled hour in a Chinese bank will know. Their customer service is amazing and I've had no issues sending money abroad. There are detailed instructions for various banks but alipay is my favorite way to send. The only gripe I have is with the rates I am getting: they seem a little lower than the official rate.

I had been using paypal since 2017 for sending money home because I was too lazy to go to the bank, but it took a 5 percent cut each time. When SkyRemit started, I was a little skeptical because nobody I knew had tried it out and reddit didn’t have much about it. I tried it anyway with a small amount of money and it worked within 24 hours. Since then, i’ve transferred about 7 times and every time has been within 48 hours to my Citibank account in the US. Because they are based in China, customer service is quick too and pretty on top of things.

Fantastic customer service, excellent user interface, so convenient and efficient to use compared to other methods. Will continue to use this in the future!

I’ve used this service twice to transfer money from my Mainland China bank account to my Hong Kong bank account. Both payments went through successfully. In the 1st case I actually typed in my Hong Kong bank account details wrong, but their customer service contacted me and helped to fix my own stupid mistake. Money arrived very quickly and the fees are lower than the TT cost at the bank. Also most importantly you only need to supply tax documents once and then you can make as many transfers as you like until all the income from tax documents exhausted.

Excellent to send fast transfers from China to Spain. I did 3 transfers and it works excellent.

Hey there! Just wanted to share my experience using Skyremit to send money. It was super fast and reliable! I didn't have to worry at all because the money reached where it was supposed to go in no time.

What's cool is that they were really clear about their fees, so I didn't get any surprises later. It was all straightforward and didn't cost me an arm and a leg, which was a relief.

One thing though, I hope they come up with an app soon. That would make things even easier, you know? Being able to do it all from my phone would be awesome!

To transfer funds from a Chinese bank to your bank in another country has been a long and frustrating problem. But now with SkyRemit that has changed. Once you have setup the account with the required documents the transfer process is very quick and simple. Funds were transferred into my UK bank account within a couple of minutes. Very happy to have used this service.

After 5 years of living in China finally a service that makes life so much easier!!! Professional staff, fast transfer, very good priced transaction fees. Most importantly, you don't need to spend hours in the bank filling out the forms and have angry looks of other customers because you occupy window for hours. Fast, efficient, simply the best service in Chinese Mainland and I would say one of the best in the world for international transfers to yourself.

It's a pretty new platform for expats in China. The product is not designed very well but their service is legit and safe. The customer service team is goooood!!
