After ordering 2 sets of gifts for almost £100, one got to its destination, another did not. Initially Smart solutions were confused as they showed an item delivered. When I pointed out, I had ordered two sets, to two different people with the same last name, they said that indeed, one item was in its way back to them. I opened a PayPal dispute, as the email I received was for the delivered item, not the undelivered item. Also their answer phone for both numbers did not function correctly. This is where the bad part of the review comes in. Smart Solutions do not know how the PayPal dispute resolution works. It is not a bad thing, just buyer protection. If you refuse to refund until I close a dispute, then I lose my buyer protection. I'd have to take you to small claims court to retrieve my money if you refused to refund. The dispute auto closes once you process a refund.

**After the reply below. I keep hearing about the refund, but at no time have you actioned the refund so I can't remove the complaint. As soon as MY MONEY returns to my account, I can remove the CLAIM!!!***

I suggest SmartGift Solutions re-aquaint themselves with distance selling regualtions and the sale of goods act. I wouldn't recommend using this company due to their ultra agressive and unhelpful way of resolving CUSTOMER problems. After all, you got the wrong transaction to start and then said you could see the item on its way back. I offered to have a refund and order from you again, but no refund was forthcoming due to your in-experience with issuing refunds. The items were not delivered, so I have not taken receipt of them. It is up to you to claim from your delivery people and not disadvantage me. I have left an honest review, but will be taking another star off, due to your poor attitude and unhelpfullness in resolving what was an easy problem.

I searched high and low for a fun unique get well gift for my nephew who has been very poorly for a very long time. He still has a long road ahead of him to recovery but knowing the gift I chose would bring a smile to his face has made my day. He was over the moon with his gift and loved the photo card too. I will definately use this site again and will highly recommend to friends and family...just brilliant!

From the lovely man who took by order by phone to the delivery the following morning the experience was just perfect, can't thank you enough for your service when I'd left my sisters birthday to the last minute. I particularly liked the fact I was offered many extras in addition to the pamper basket I made up. When the basket
arrived it was much more than I expected. I will definitely be recommending you and be back for more.

Overall a superb service. I absolutely loved the choice of gifts available. Living in the US with a sick relative in hospital is stressful and I couldn't find any one who was willing to send a gift to brighten anyones day.

I'm very happy with the sensitive approach as well when I had to call them. Many thanks for your kind service. I will most certainly be using them again and recommend.

We live in Canada so we order hampers regularly for family back home. This is the best in every single aspect - price, selection, service. They seem so cheap I just hope they are around for a while! I also like the fact that I get through to a helpful human being seeing as it costs a lot for me to make a call. Well done! And please keep up the good work.

I was asked by Melanie Phillips to write a review for Smart Gift Solutions and I have no hesitation in doing so! I found Smart Gifts by accident through a search on Google as I was looking for a gift for my friend who's mother had passed away. I had no clue as to what to buy I could only think of perhaps a food hamper. Having phoned Smart Gifts I got through straight await to Deborah which was so refreshing being able to speak to a real person and not an answering machine service or a call centre where nobody is interested. As I live in Canada in was important to me to be able to speak to someone quickly and efficiently.

The end result is that I ended up purchasing a beautiful personalised glass vase for my friend which was gift wrapped and a free greeting card was included. I was bowled over by the service, the recommendations for what to send as a gift and the price.

I also appreciated the contact throughout the delivery process suffice to say I will be using Smart Gift Solutions again in future for all my gifts, thank you so much and please keep up your service and the good work.

Smart Gift Solutions provides a great service and sorted out my order for me immediately. They rang the hospital where my niece was staying to sort out the problem of the gift not being received. They tracked the parcel down and better than I could from NZ and the parcel was delivered that afternoon a day later than I had planned but my niece had moved ward.

I will definitely be recommending them to all my family and will be back again soon!

Gift was awesome, at time and delicious, i loved the way melanie always answers all my emails, fast and friendly, although i had a small problem in the delivery and i wasn't their responsability, she resolve my problem quickly, would buy again and recommended to every one.

I loved the fact that I could chOose the items to go into a hamper. Plus, each item was little bit special. Makes for the perfect present. Being able to choose the contents of a hamper is the only way to ensure you send what you know the recipient will appreciate. I am very happy with my purchase, excellent quality and packaging, delivered on time. Highly recommendable.

I ordered a cookies and muffins hamper from NZ to send to my sister in the hospital in the UK. SmartGift service (Melanie) was great and kept me informed via email; the gift arrived and caused quite a stir on the ward! excellent job. thank you so much!!!

I received a gift which I remembered how beautiful it was presented and so sent my daughter a pamper basket she was delighted I'm also impressed with how quick and efficient the whole delivery process is well done Smart Gifts!

Ordered a present for my partner and received a refund for my payment not long after, but without an explanation. Believing there was a mistake, I ordered the item again, which the website allowed me to do. As it was not refunded I have been waiting for my present to be delivered and contacted the company multiple times to make sure it has been delivered.

5 days later I receive an e-mail about the item being sold out. I believe it is a horrible service from a company which states to provide quick service. Still awaiting my second refund from the second time I ordered the item.

Your site is wonderful. Excellant service and it's the second time i have used this service will certainly use again and I do recommend this service to friends and family. The only thing I'd like to suggest is that It would be great if you could expand your make your own hamper.

I ordered a gift for the birthday of my friend and THEY COMPLETELY MESSED UP! Sent the wrong gift on the wrong day!

I bought a gift for my mother, received a lovely collection of biscuits which were very well presented with fast delivery. It was a great gift idea and well worth the money, needless to day my mother was delighted will definitely buy again, thank you.
