I have used Smart training to do my apprenticeship . The support received, was 100%. I could not fault the tutors and the support they give.

I successfully passed my Functional Skills qualification with the support of Smart Training, and I couldn't be more grateful for the help I received throughout my journey.

My tutor, Debby Seiles, was exceptional. She guided me through everything I needed to know with patience, professionalism, and genuine care. Her kindness, encouragement, and belief in her students are truly remarkable.

Throughout the course, Debby constantly motivated me and always took the time to explain things clearly, making sure I fully understood each topic before moving on. Her dedication and commitment to her students' success made a huge difference to my confidence and learning experience.

I have passed Learning and Development Practitioner Level 3. At 40 I didn't believe that I could gain a qualification, but I have. My tutor Clare was extremely patient and supportive as I progressed through the course, especially when I was struggling with my confidence. It was easy to reach out to her when I needed reassurance and I never felt rushed during the masterclasses and meetings. It was great that I was part of a cohort to gain different opinions and knowledge, and to share my own. The group was a comfortable size that allowed for open discussion and everyone was included. I will definitely consider Smart Training and Recruitment for my Level 5, but I shall be having a well earned learning break first!

I cannot thank Joanne Sadler enough for her outstanding support throughout my apprenticeship journey. Jo was incredibly supportive, accommodating, and always willing to adjust the programme to suit my needs and professional commitments. Jo’s guidance, encouragement, and feedback helped me build my confidence and develop my skills.

I was honestly praying just to pass my End Point Assessment, so achieving a Distinction was a wonderful and unexpected surprise. Cindy was really great with me, I had felt so supported by her throughout my whole apprenticeship, I had learnt a lot through the year and got my first ever distinction with her. From completing a business administration apprenticeship, my experience was great as my tutor Lindsey supported me with all areas of the apprenticeship and helped me prepare for the EPA in which I got the grades I wanted. Highly recommend!

I took the Level 5 Coaching Course on recommendation from a colleague. While the course itself was very time-consuming, with a lot of coursework and admin, the support received from my tutor Andrew was really great.
I would recommend being fully aware of how much time is needed per week to complete the course, as doing this while a full job role was very tough. However, now it is done I do not regret the late nights.

From the start of my apprenticeship all members of CMI were welcoming and friendly. My assigned tutor was Cindy Clarke and well, she was just amazing. Thorough support and guidance throughout my journey, Cindy was supportive and reassured me in my moments of doubt. Regular reviews and clear guidance as to what needed to be completed. I am grateful for her mentoring me over my 2 year period, I actually don't think I would have kept motivated if it were not for her.

My tutor, Emily Schramm was knowledgeable, engaging, and approachable. She was always there if I needed an extra bit of help. I also appreciated how the sessions were paced, allowing enough time to absorb the information without feeling rushed.

In addition, I successfully completed Functional Skills Level 2 in both Maths and English, taught by Debbie Seiles. Her teaching was clear and engaging, however, I needed to dedicate a significant amount of time to independent study as I did not have a strong maths background.

The training material was well structured, up to date, and clearly explained, making it easy to understand even more complex topics.

I would happily attend further courses with this provider in the future.

When I first started I had an awful experience with my tutor, I even withdrew from the course.

However, this was fully turned around when I had my tutor Lindsey, she was absolutely amazing. She is supportive, thorough and gives great feedback to help you improve. Anyone who works with her is extremely lucky.

Can’t speak highly enough of SMART and my tutor Lindsey. The help and guidance you get throughout the course is second to none nothing is too much for them. Getting distinction is down to their patience and help. Thank you for everything.

I started doing my functional skills in January of last year, I have been doing my maths and English with Debby Seiles and some support lesson with Andrew Tregear. I couldn’t fault my tutors, nothing was ever to much for them, any issues or any parts of the topics I was struggling with they had the patience’s and knowledge to make issues simple and easy to understand, I have now passed both English and maths, I have recommended to my work place anybody looking to improve on their further education to look at smart training and recruitment.

The course was really well structured taking me through all the fundamental elements of coaching with both theory and practical workshops. My tutor was really supportive and knowledgeable helping me to develop my skills underpinned by theory. He also made it great fun and was always there if I needed an extra bit of help. When it came to the EPA, he was really patient in going over everything so I knew what to do helping me secure a distinction. I don't think I could have done this without my tutor's support as he kept me on track when life and work took over.

I have had a very positive experience completing my Level 3 Payroll Administrator Apprenticeship. At the beginning of my programme, my tutor was Melanie Langdon, who supported me in settling into the course and understanding the structure of the apprenticeship.

After some time, Emily Schramm became my tutor and provided excellent support throughout the remainder of my apprenticeship. She was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and approachable. Emily explained payroll concepts clearly and in detail, ensured I fully understood each topic, and always adapted session timings when needed to support my work schedule. Her guidance helped me build confidence in both my technical payroll knowledge and practical workplace application.

Alongside the apprenticeship, I also completed Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English, which were taught by Debbie Seiles. Debbie provided clear explanations, structured lessons, and helpful practice materials that supported me in successfully completing both qualifications.

Overall, this apprenticeship has been a valuable learning journey that has strengthened my payroll knowledge, compliance understanding, and professional skills. I appreciate the support and dedication of my tutors, which made the programme both effective and enjoyable.
