I purchased a Harry Potter bundle for my 10 year old for start of term. The bottle is the new design with spray function and costly at £20-25.

Day 3 in school it toppled off her desk onto the floor. However the top section broke away in sharp shards on the bottle and lid. My daughter required first aid on 2 cuts to her hand.

I reported this to Smiggle whose reply was ‘as it was dropped we cannot do anything’.

There is a clear health and safety flaw in this new design with a child injured, the reply showed no compassion for the injury OR cost.

I am absolutely applied by Smiggle having spent £100s over the past years trusting them to supply safe items for my child. Children will drop things and this should be a part of safety tests before reaching the market. This item in no way meets uk quality standards for children.

Why didn't I came here first? Misleading advert as shows extra item(lunch bag) on their site. No clear mention of it being extra.
Also, price went down a day after I bought it and was hoping at least they could offer refund for the price difference (only £5) as a goodwill gesture.
They DON'T CARE! All that matte to them if their money in their bank account.
Even refund isn't free!
Bought as gift to my niece ... Really regretting it now! Anyway !!!

Marked as dispatched after 2 days when it actually wasnt but 5 more days later item still haven't been dispatched, and no tracking, wouldn't recommend buying on online

Terrible stores. Barely any prices on display with misleading advertisement.
On a display which read "select items on this display £2.50" not 1 single item was that price. Most of the items didn't have a shelf ticket or an individual price label and when checking at the till items as small and flimsy as a snap bracelet are priced at £6 each! Very misleading, shady business practices.

Poor quality and customer care. My 4 year old daughter opened a clear pencil case yesterday as one of her birthday presents. The zip came detached instantly. My wife spoke to their customer care via Facebook, but was told we would have to return to a store with proof of purchase. It was a gift so we don’t have proof of purchase. Surely one could have been sent out as it was such a low value item.

Bottle leaked within a day, lunch box is tatty after a year. Very expensive trash.

The shop just too liee. Got there at 10am and the shop was still close. Misleading very much

Paid £10 in postage to return a case which was not suitable for my grandson as it was actually smaller than anticipated. I have advised Klarna that the product has been returned together with the tracking number and I am still waiting for the refund to be processed through Klarna over 2 weeks now …also had to exchange a lunchbox as the ribbons has dropped off due to stitching. I would not recommend this company and will never buy from here again.

I ordered a bag for my parents to take back to Australia for their grand daughter. When it arrived I knew something was wrong. They had sent headphones. I had paid an extra almost £6 for it to be delivered within 3 days as they were leaving Wednesday.
They were unable to send a replacement in time and wouldn’t pay for the postage to Australia and offered no compensation not even a gift voucher for their mistake. Don’t worry I had an apology from Lauren.
This is not the service is expected from a company I spend a lot of money at.
Very disappointed and will now have to sort out the refund.

If I could give zero stars I would.
Ordered bag for my niece starting school.
Ordered in plenty of time but item sent out was wrong item even although delivery note had correct item on it. Ended up purchasing the bag again and paying for fast delivery which is so expensive. Still waiting for refund and been told it will take up to 21 days. Ordinary delivery at £4.99 is so expensive and no option to collect from shop is terrible. I look forward to eventually getting my refund and I'll not be buying from this shop again.

Incorrect items sent out and have to waste my time taking them back to the parcel shop. First time and last time customer.

Customer service agent really didn't care and wasn't particularly helpful.

I bought a bento box with insulated food jar for my daughter. The set cost £25. At first glance, it seems like a well designed and good quality with proper seal but after a month the pattern all fall off from the insulated food jar. I complaint to smuggle a couple of time and only get £5 refund as it’s part of a set!

I bought two water bottles from Smiggle as a Christmas present at Wimbledon branch after a few months, the bottles started to leak. I took them back to the shop. The manager who is called Abdul kindly exchanged them with the new ones. Thank you Abdul. All the staff who work there are very friendly and helpful.

Water bottle broke in one day.

Bought a £16.50 steel water bottle for my son expecting it to last for next year, on the first day of use, he dropped it from table height at lunch time and the top of the bottle cracked rendering it impossible to now use as it leaks, reported this to Smiggle expecting some kind of replacement to be sorted to be advised it could not be replaced because it wasn't 'faulty' looking at the other reviews now I can see this is clearly a common issue. Will not be buying from Smiggle again and certainly would not recommend them.

My daughter had been eagerly asking for a specific spray bottle for ages, and we finally got it for her birthday. She was thrilled to have it, but after just three days, it slipped from her hand and dropped from no more than 70 cm in height. To our disappointment, the bottle separated at the seal. I might accept this if the bottle had cost a couple of pounds, but at nearly £20, this is absolutely unacceptable! Despite this clear quality issue, Smiggle refuses to acknowledge it. I am extremely dissatisfied and will never shop there again. I strongly advise others to avoid their products as well!

Zip failed straight out of the packaging, cheap feel and look to the products even though they hold a premium price. Used to be good now a brand to avoid.

First time buyer from Smiggle. Arrived promptly (online order). There were 3 items. two were excellent and well packaged. The third arrived damaged and was not fit for the gift it was meant to be. I emailed Smiggle explaining my problem. They replied within 6 hours and issued the refund immediately. Mistakes happen but this was dealt with so well. Will definitely shop again.

The kicks pink and black football bottle leaks, absolutely useless and a friend has issues with the same bottle! Do NOT buy!!!
