Jodie was incredibly diligent, dedicated and truly supportive through the difficult purchase of our new family home. The workload Jodie and team took on get us in before Chris was astounding, would not have been possible without her!!

Smith Partnership are the solicitors for the buyer at the top of our property chain. The memorandum of sale was completed in April. We were told their client had a mortgage approved. Since then we have been given every excuse under the sun to not progress, but that they are nearly there. Their behaviour has lost us the opportunity of other interest during the Autumn. We have actually lost the opportunity of two other sales as a result. Now we are in to the Christmas period when no one else is buying or looking to move.
It has taken over 2 months to approve funds from overseas - each step takes a manager more than a week to approve the case solicitors work. They will not give any indication of timescale to the agent. This is causing my family mental health issues and financial disadvantage - as not only are we paying service charge on an empty property but also interest on care home fees without the capital from the sale of the house.
Do not use yourselves, and do not enter in to agreement with any buyer who has employed them.
Because we don't have a contract with them we cannot apparently report this behaviour.

I used them to buy a house. Everything went smoothly, I had no issues at all. Answered all our questions. Price was ok as well, didn’t cost arm and leg.
