I ordered a SmoothSkin PureFit from the Good Morning America Deals & Steals deal on 6/26. A box arrived on 7/3. When I opened the box, the item inside was NOT a SmoothSkin PureFit device. It wasn't even a product from SmoothSkin. It was a Bentgo box!?!?! I immediately sent an email with photos of the box and the wrong item inside but have yet to hear from anyone. I also notice that the "policy" is that the customer pays for return shipping. That is absolutely absurd - especially in this case - and I refuse to pay to return a completely incorrect product. I will be putting a request in to my credit card company to get my money back if I do not hear from someone soon.

I've been using the SmoothSkin hair remover for several weeks now, and I'm genuinely impressed with the results. The device is easy to use, comfortable to hold, and treatments are quick enough to fit into a busy schedule.

After just a few sessions, I noticed a significant reduction in hair growth, particularly on my legs and underarms. The automatic skin tone sensor provides added confidence during use, and the flashes are fast, making full-body treatments much quicker than expected.

I was apprehensive about using an IPL device as a first time user, but the Pure Ice IPL was easy to get used to. By week 3, I felt comfortable with the device and was able to shorten my treatment time. I started on the lowest setting and gradually progressed to the highest setting by week 4, no pain.

To see the results for myself, I treated only one leg so I could see a comparison. By week 4, the difference was already noticeable, and the results were even more impressive after week 8. The weekly treatments have clearly reduced hair growth and need to shave.

I'm excited to see the full results after completing the 12-week programme. Overall, I am very happy with the results and plan to use it on other areas.

I have been using this device on my legs and underarms for around 8 weeks now and I have noticed really positive results. I am having to shave much less frequently and my regrowth appears finer.

I was a bit nervous before using as I have had IPL treatment in the past and found it very painful. However this device is totally pain free, very easy to use and not time consuming at all.

I purchased the Smoothskin primarily for my upper lip, although it seems to work in some areas of the lip, I find it can be difficult to reach all of the upper lip. I've only used it a limited amount of time, so I'll continue to try and see if it works on that area.

Customer service non existent, item not arrived, numerus emails sent, no phone number. Now I have to try and claw back my payment. No point having a business if you cant service your customers. Women's Health Magazine need to pull the article endorsing this product, it cheapens them.

I have gone from shaving my underarm three times a week to hardly having to do it once and I have been only using the device for 4 weeks. I can’t wait to use on my legs, very easy to use and very cooling m, so no discomfort felt when using the device. Would recommend 🙌

As someone who has had to shave my legs everyday due to fast hair re-growth I was skeptical about trying this product. However, after 8 weeks I have noticed a big difference in the speed of the hair re-growth which has resulted in having to shave much less frequently.
The product is very easy to use and each treatment only took 5-10 minutes which was much less time consuming than I had expected. I found it to be totally pain free also.
Overall I have been pleasantly surprised and will continue to use for the recommended 12 weeks and hopefully see further reduction in re-growth.

I didn’t expect much when I got this device, as it was my first time using IPL and I wasn’t sure it would actually work, but the results have been much better than anticipated!

It took about 2 to 3 weeks to see the first noticeable changes—some areas of hair weren’t growing back at all, which was amazing. Now I’m on week 5, and I can definitely see that a lot of hair is gone. I also feel that the remaining hair is growing back much more slowly.

The device itself is lovely—very sleek in design and super easy to use. The ice-cooling sensation is very soothing and makes the treatment painless. The only time I felt anything was when I hadn’t shaved properly and there was still a bit of hair left, so just make sure your skin is smooth before starting the treatment.

I was also impressed by how fast the treatment is. I’d say both underarms take me less than 2 minutes!

Overall, I’m super happy and really excited to see the final results after 12 weeks of use. I can’t wait to enjoy a hair-free summer 😃

It's a pretty great device! Works super well, with the results being visible after two weeks.

My only comment would be that the time between the flashes is medium-speed (not fast) so the process takes a bit of time. But the light isn't painful at all, the device is nice to manipulate, and the payoff is really great for the money.

I’ve been really impressed with this device so far. I have fair skin with a mix of light and medium brown hair, and after just 4 weeks of use I’ve already seen a noticeable reduction in hair growth. Since switching to the Pure Ice device, I’ve had fewer ingrown hairs and an improvement in my skin texture.

I typically use it straight after showering and shaving. Once I’m dry, I can get started within minutes. The time between pulses is very fast, so treatments don’t take long at all. It’s quick and easy to use and, while shaving my armpits didn't ever take long, this device offers me a long-term solution, and avoids the skin damage I often noticed after shaving.

Unlike waxing, the treatment itself is painless. You feel a slight warmth from the light, but the sapphire cooling feature balances it out immediately.

The device is quiet, sleek, and feels high quality. I love the colour, too - I think it looks really modern and premium.

I can't believe how well this device worked. After only 4 weeks, most of my hair was completely gone at my armpits, bikini line, and legs. I could see results already after 2 weeks.

The small flash window makes legs a bit of a longer job, but overall its a pretty quick and easy process!

The cooling feature makes it really comfortable, at worst you get a bit of heat/ mild discomfort. But you can turn the intensity of the device down.

Very cooling and a noticeable reduction in hair after 4 weeks, even in bikini line. Really enjoyed the cooling, and recommend ensuring area is freshly shaved, as any leftover hair is more painful. Did not notice this much on my leg, but bikini line more sensitive. Will continue for 12 weeks as there is still growth, hardly noticeable on my legs.

I have quite a few moles so have avoided those, and have been unable to do underarm for that reason. I found it easier completed lying down.

Machine itself is really smooth quality plastic, when I first opened the box I was pleasantly surprised by this. Box is beautiful and all very good quality. Makes the weekly chore a while lot nicer and easier.

Bought product however already received one as a gift. The one I have bought is unopened, I have emailed rhe company three times as outlined on their website to request a refund. I have still to receive a response back.

I have opened a dispute with the company with PayPal, still awaiting a response.

Great response / customer service from smooth skin

I have been using cheap IPL and was disappointed by the results, I then switched to Smoothskin and this is a game changer in terms of both efficacy and ease of use. I highly recomend them!

If I could rate with 0 I would. Product stopped working after 6 months. Have written several emails and have had ZERO response even! Terrible customer service and will never use again. Do not buy from this company as they have no concerns about issues/problem

I have been looking at the reviews and I am not the only one that has had a very negative experience with Smoothskin.
To say they are terrible and don’t care about the product they sell in my opinion would be an understatement.
The product is a Smoothskin Bare and stopped working correctly UNDER WARRANTY, I have messaged the company four times with only an automated “we have your mail and will respond in 24 hours”. No other response, I repeat NOTHING !

When you purchase a so called premium product you expect that if you have a problem the company would respond in a premium manner.

Now I have an expensive piece of plastic which will just be a reminder.

I finally took the plunge and bought a Pure Mini Lite from Amazon as my first IPL device. It is super easy to use. I didn't see a huge difference immediately but after around 4 weeks there is definitely less hair! For me it has been most effective on my legs and bikini line but think it is different for everyone. If you are unsure I would say give it a try!
