We can see that you have enrolled on the Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults course twice which may be why there has been some confusion over credit usage.

At SCTV, a duplicated course can be cancelled and the credit will be refunded to your account. Please find instructions for this below along with how to enrol on and start a course.

How to enrol on a course (on a mobile/computer)

Log into your SCTV manager account
Click on the username of your manager account from the list of 'Active Trainees' (username is shown in the 3rd column)
Click on the 'Enrol on a new course' button at the top of the screen
From the list of courses, tick the box next to the course/s you wish to take
Scroll back up to the top of the screen and click on the 'Enrol on X course' button
You can select multiple courses at the same time
Choose the option ‘Review your courses’, to return to your training page

How to cancel a duplicated course (on a mobile)

Log into your SCTV manager account
Select your name from the list of ‘Active Trainees’ to view your list of courses
Next to each course you will see a small arrow to the right-hand side
When you click on the arrow, you will have the option to ‘Archive’ or ‘Cancel’ the course
Select ‘Cancel’ and you will be removed from the course, and the credit will be applied back onto your credit balance

How to cancel a duplicated course (on a computer)

Log into your SCTV manager account
Click on ‘Trainee management’ and you will then be taken to your homepage
Click directly on your name which you will find under the ‘Active Trainees’ tab
On the next page you will see a full list of your current courses
Select the course that you wish to cancel yourself off
Select the ‘Cancel courses’ button - this will remove the course from your training and apply the credit back to your main account

How to start a course (on a mobile)

Log into your SCTV manager account
Select ‘Active Trainees’
Click on your name to be directed to your training page, where you will find a list of courses you have enrolled on
To see the ‘Start’ button, either rotate your phone into landscape mode or click directly on the course title

The SCTV menus are optimised for mobile devices so you will not see all of the menus or options whilst your device is in portrait mode.

How to start a course (on a computer)

Log into your SCTV manager account
Select the 'Trainee management' button at the top of the page
Ensure the ‘Active Trainees’ tab is selected so that any accounts registered are displayed
Click on the number displayed under the ‘Current Courses’ column on your manager account, (leaving the tick box before your name empty)
This will direct you to your training page, where you will find a list of courses you have enrolled on
Each course will have a ‘Start’ button to the right-hand side or a ‘Certificate’ button if the course has already been completed

We are so sorry to hear that you feel our training is expensive. We are extremely mindful of cost and pride ourselves on offering fair and transparent pricing that also reflects the quality of the training we produce. We have not increased this for many years.

Our pricing can be found on our website at:

At Social Care TV, we offer a credits-based pricing system whereby one course equals one credit. The cost of credits decreases as the number of credits purchased increases. This is demonstrated on the slider which you can see if you move it across from left to right. As per the slider costs are as follows:

1-9 credits: £9.49 plus VAT per credit
10 - 29 credits: £8.49 plus VAT per credit
30 - 49 credits: £7.99 plus VAT per credit
50 - 99 credits: £6.49 plus VAT per credit
100 - 249 credits: £4.99 plus VAT per credit
250 - 499 credits: £3.99 plus VAT per credit
500 - 999 credits: £2.49 plus VAT per credit
1000 - 1999 credits: £1.99 plus VAT per credit
2000 - 4999 credits: £1.69 plus VAT per credit
5000+ credits: £1.49 plus VAT per credit

For purchases of 500 or more individual credits, we offer the option of spreading the cost in equal payments over 6 months or for purchases of 1,000 or more individual credits, the cost can be spread in equal payments over 6 or 12 months.

We do respond to all customer calls, emails and live chat queries and can not see a record of any contact regarding this - however our team would be delighted to help and will now be in contact to ensure that we get this resolved for you.

If your employer has chosen to make certificates available to trainees directly you can access and download these from within the training platform itself from your main training dashboard.
