Bamboo socks not good quality

I bought several pairs of their bamboo socks and they don’t last long at all, especially in leather shoes. There are soon holes in them. Won’t be buying from the company again.

Order arrived & seemed fine but alas!

Order arrived & seemed fine. However one sock developed a large hole in the cuff after 1 wear & wash. So I contacted Sockshop & chatted with a rep over Chat. After seeing photos of the hole she said they’d be in contact soon. I’ve heard nothing over the past 2.5 weeks. Nothing at all. I returned my part order via tracked…

I returned my part order via tracked post using a RM returns label provided by Sockshop. I did not receive a refund and the parcel was still at RM parcel hub. I contacted Sockshop and asked them to investigate but Zoe replied that RM were responsible. I phoned RM and they confirmed that under the contract Sockshop have with them, as part of their terms and conditions, Sockshop pay for the return if the parcel does not reach it’s destination. I wrote back to Zoe but she did not reply. I will not be buying from this company again.

The products are good but the Customer Services Manager has forgotten what her title means. She makes it her mission to be as obstructive as possible. Shame as products good.

However once it was ascertained I did state that if I applied the code for you it would reduce your order to under £40 and postage would therefore apply, this is all as per our website T & C's

Bought the bamboo knee high socks. They are so comfy and fit well. They came before target date which was surprising bonus!

Glen Muir bamboo cushioned

Good service
Generally good speed of delivery
These socks are a poor man's pringle sock.they dont have same finesse as pringle and cushioned part is very poor also.if you wear pringle dont buy these they are disappointing.

Poor quality

Poor quality, faulty item and AI customer service....not a good combination. Lesson learnt, won't buy from again.

Smooth returns process

I ordered 3 pairs to try with my sensory sensitive kiddos and they were accepted! They liked the feel of the socks but not one of the designs I'd ordered. The free returns process was one of the simplest systems I have been through - with the option of refund or replacement.

Buy direct from Sockshop (not Debenhams)

Make sure you buy direct from Sockshop directly and not Debenhams. The two are not compatible. I bought Large boxers from Debenhams, Sockshop delivered Medium (never knew Sockshop would be involved). It was resolved but Debenhams never credited the postage! Fair play to Sockshop customer service, thanks to Zoe. Took off 1 star as chat does not work on their website. Bought direct now so we will see...

I used a number of pairs of bamboo…

I used a number of pairs of bamboo socks from this company, around 4 or 5 all of which went into a hole around a big toe... I have a regular chiropodist who intentionally cut said toe even shorter, yet still another hole. Hence I sent one complete set back alongside another two or three from the earlier order. Despite all the time consumed, and the irritation from the socks themselves... I received NO sense of apology, and a bald refund of solely the second order... I assume as the first in part only! I find this lacking in any sense of customer service or desire for good PR whatever! Hence this damning review...albeit I would never purchase bamboo socks again.

Great Service & Quality Products

I purchased 3 packs of Glenmuir long leg boxers, size XL. They were perfect. Not too long and not too short. They arrived within 48hrs of placing the order and were in perfect condition.

Lovely feeling material. Not the thickest, but very comfortable. Also, them being thinner means the old nethers don't overheat! :-)

The order also came with a freebie. An XL pair of Lazy Panda boxers.

Sadly, these boxers came with a rip in them. I contacted SockShop via the chat and they sent out a replacement pair, once again within 48hrs.

Service was tip top from start to finish.

I'm delighted with both products, and wouldn't hesitate to purchase either Lazy Panda or Glenmuir boxers in the future.

Awful customer service

I have now contacted sockshop three times via their chat box and each time I am told a ticket has been raised and the query is being looked into. Original query raised on 07/01/26. Haven't got the time and energy to keep chasing. They have both my money and my items.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. There is no phone number to call, just a chat service on the website that isn't able to help with anything. The Royal Mail lost my order and I am spending hours trying to get this resolved. I recognise that the lost order isn't the Sock Shop's fault, but their communication is frustrating, slow and very poor at resolving things. I am still waiting to hear what will happen next - will I get my money back or maybe a new order? Who knows??

NON EXISTANT CUSTOMER SERVICE

You can improve be delivering the items that have been ordered.
No tracking number.
No order delivered.
No customer service.
No emails answered.
Called phone number from off your website and again it doesn't ring ,so doesn't exist.
Where is your CUSTOMER SERVICE???
ONE THING YOU DO WELL,IS TAKE THE MONEY
NEVER AGAIN.

delivery charge

I am happy with the products but I am dissatisfied with the delivery system. I paid for track 48 but my order is yet to arrive after 3 days. Why are customers asked to pay for delivery services that the company cannot meet the deadline? I can't even ask for a refund.

Awful!

Awful! Bad quality, disappointing. In particular the 'Snuggle Faux Fur Blanket' - slippery, synthetic, cold to the feel, very heavy - horrible product, and it wasn't cheap. This is the difficulty with ordering online. This item ended up in the bin - even my cat didn't like it! Massive fail.

Poor quality, high price

I have a tactile defensive child and socks are a major issue, so the soft seam socks seemed ideal. I ordered a few different kinds and when my child accepted some of the socks, I ordered more and stocked up. I bought 3 pairs of soft seam Welly socks, and about 3 knee high socks.
Unfortunately, we have worn and washed them about 3 or 4 times before holes have appeared in the toe area, so far on 2 pairs.
Not worth returning as we have to pay £3.49 delivery cost - which is the same as a pair of socks.
Very disappointing, at this price expect them to last more than a handful of washes!

Paid for 48 hr delivery, one week later, no package

Paid for 48 delivery, 7 days later no package and emails get returned undelivered. Wish I’d read the reviews first, will have to do charge back with my credit card. Had the cheek to send an email asking how I was enjoying my purchase

Cracking Xmas crackers

Ordered the Xmas crackers. Brilliant. Excellent socks, good quality hats etc.
Delivered quickly.
Only slight niggle..quite difficult to "crack" when pulling the crackers.
