I have not used other platforms for music publishing, but when I wanted to go online with my music, Songtradr had just opened a "Starter plan" opportunity for artists when COVID-19 striked. 2023 this plan is more limited, but for 3 years I distributed almost 100 songs without any payment and the commissions were enough to make me want to go ahead with this new adventure of publishing music. Of course it is not viable for Songtradr so it is ok to reduce the offer, but it was a breaking point on my carreer. 3 years ago I was a laptop producer on my free time, now I'm a full time student for Film and Videogame music production. My income is limited, but when I gather more money I will definitely get the Pro plan. Songtradr has a great network for showing your productions to different music industries and is very friendly when you want to know from which countries people are listening. Thanks!

Greedy company that doesn't care about customers or anything. Worst customer service I experienced. Don't waste your time and money there.

I purchased without any problem through this platform and the moment I needed support (I mistakenly deleted the purchased file), the customer service helped me in a very short time and solved my problem.

Very well organized and easy to upload with great detail for placements. The tutorials are a masterclass in running w website and the service is friendly and helpful.

ALTHOUGH, I'M A NEWBEE TO SONGTRADER, THEY HAVE ALL THE TOOLS YOU NEED PLUS THEIR AUTOMATIC CONNECTIONS TO MAKE YOUR MUSIC CAREER EASIER TO MANIFEST. IF YOU MASTERSTAND THE NEW INDUSTRY, THEIR TOP TIER IN PROFESSIONAL SERVICES.. THE ONLY PROBLEM IS, NOT EVERYONE IS A MUSICIAN AND A BUSINESS MOGUL... SO IF YOU DONT PUT ANYTHING IN LIFE, WHAT DO YOU EXPECT TO GET OUT OF IT... NO CHEAT CODES... THOSE ARE THE ONES WHO LEAVE NEGATIVE REVIEWS AND HAVE THE MOST PROBLEMS... NOT PROPERLY EDUCATED TO MASTERSTAND THE SIMPLE PORTAL...

I have been a member of Songtradr since 2017 first with a free account and then a pro account since 2019.
From year to year my income increases.
A negative point is the extremely laborious facial recognition authentication method. I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown.
Otherwise, I recommend this service for musicians.

How to involve government to close this business? I mean they are eating the royalties and suspending account unilaterally, there is no counter check and accountability. Please all cheated by Songtradr take it to FTC and file a class action suit against them. I am about to start. They have done the same with me claiming Artificial Streaming out of nowhere.

Songtradr offer a very good service with decent opportunities and good presentation of your music (speaking as an artist). However, the sync licensing market like all things with music, is saturated. You have to be patient, have a lot of music available and it of course must be good quality too. Songtradr pro is inexpensive and worth the money IMO. I was recently commissioned to write a new set of pieces so opted my music out of sync licensing. Songtradr were polite (and not pushy) and basically said the account would be closed, but the door is always open.

I was glad to receive a text from Songtradr about some licensing money that was deposited into my account. When I asked about the details of the song placement, I received info in just a few hours via email. The emails were both informative and personal. Thank you

First in 10 October 2022 They have freezed my account and saying fraudulent activities occurred.but no activities was done from my side . I was being patient and after some days they freezed my account for 180 days. when i got withdrawal request in april then they terminate my account because amount is big and they think i am using copyrights sample If there was copyrighted material you why your my Aproved my all content And now you are making excuses by telling copyright content grabbing royalties yourself then why they hold my all roylties and delete my account. They have to release my roylities.

After this i takedown my all releases from songstradr in sept 2022 and in April i withdraw my all money then they block my account because amount is big and they think i am using copyrights sample but i produced all those music in my studio and records them and i already takedown my all releases in sept 2022 then why they hold my all money and delete my account. They have to release my funds.

I've been on Songtradr.com almost since its inception (free version only), and while I haven't gotten rich I've definitely made money through licensing. And I write mostly rock which is a harder-sell these days, so no complaints and whenever I've had questions they have been very responsive in answering. Compared to garbage sites like Taxi and MusicXray, these guys rock!

Best service ever. Provides great support for artists.

I remember how I struggled to put my music on digital platforms till I came across Songtradr and my life as an artist changed completely people started getting my music easily from anywhere and even now I am what I am because of this platform and I cannot stop thanking them for creating this lovely platform.

At this time, all releases have been blocked due to numerous artificial streaming and infringement strikes and you are no longer able to use Songtradr services.

Songtradr takes fraudulent activities seriously and is committed to upholding the integrity of the distribution system for artists, distributors, and other service providers.

This email is to notify you that we are terminating your account and terminating your access to all Songtradr services. Pursuant to Section 4(e) of our Digital Distribution Services Agreement with you, Songtradr has the right, in its discretion, to terminate your account.

All funds will be withheld and subject to review pending potential claw back from DSPs. We will revisit your account after this period and if we have received no claw backs from DSPs, your funds will be used to benefit the music community in a manner of our choosing.

We regret the need to take this action and apologize that we’re no longer able to service you.

No one answers the phones and emails are delayed responses. The worst!
