I ordered a custom ottoman, slightly higher than the average. The product is great and came in perfect condition. I took a star off as from ordering to delivery there wasn't any communication but once the bed was ready for delivery the guys were great and came on time.

Great bed well made
Great bed well made, and we really like the fact that we could get more powerful lifting systems.
It just needs some instructions so we know all the parts in there. We nearly didn't find the headboard bolts.

Customer service & delivery needsâŠ
Customer service & delivery needs improving. I requested a specific delivery date as you are allowed to when ordering. Then got a text msg saying bed will be earlier than I had requested, I reminded them of the actual date I requested due to being on holiday. On the date I actually requested no-one turned up, I had to call to then find out my delivery date had been changed to the weekend. 1 person told me saturday another told me sunday, actual delivery date wasnt confirm until the night before.
However, delivery guys were really good, they put the ved together quickly and the bed works great.
It's been over a week and the strong smell of plastic still hasnt gone from the mattrees yet, even though I aired it for 2 days with the windows open over night before sleeping on it.

Dear Dee,
Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback, and we're truly sorry to hear about the challenges you experienced with your delivery. We understand how important it is to have everything arrive as expected, especially when youâve made specific arrangements due to your holiday.
I sincerely apologize for the confusion around the delivery dates. Iâve checked into the situation, and I can see how frustrating it must have been to receive conflicting information. We always strive to make things as smooth as possible, so itâs disappointing to hear we missed the mark on this occasion. I do want to assure you that this issue is being looked into to prevent similar problems in the future.
Regarding the smell from the mattress, we truly appreciate your patience. It can sometimes take a little longer for the materials to air out completely, especially with new items. If the smell persists, we'd be more than happy to assist you further in resolving this matter.
I also tried reaching out by phone to discuss how we can make things right. If you could kindly give us a call back at your earliest convenience, weâd love to assist you personally and ensure youâre fully satisfied.
Once again, thank you for your valuable feedback. We're so glad to hear youâre happy with the bed itself, and we hope to make the rest of your experience just as positive!
Kind regards,
-Adam

The delivery arrived on time and the two guys carefully lifted the components into the bedroom, being careful to remove their shoes without prompting.
When I came round to fitting everything together, there weren't any instructions, but it was all pretty straightforward and I had everything assembled in under 30 minutes.
The bed itself is excellent. It is very sturdy and well made and I would definitely look at SoSoftBeds whenever I need a new bed. I can heartily recommend them

Good company, would order again.
Ordered my bed and entered a date for preferred delivery. Had a prompt email about my order being received and a couple days later an email for leaving a review. Unfortunately there was no communication on the preferred delivery date whether it was possible or not. I phoned on the day I would have liked my bed delivered 3 times but no answer but was able to leave a message on the answer phone. Adam phoned me back later in the day apologising he'd missed my calls and we arranged a delivery date. Adam was very polite and efficient. My only concern was there was only 1 delivery guy so my husband had to help get the bed to the bedroom. Other than that I love my new bed, well made, looks good and easy to assemble. I ordered a King size Ottoman bed.

Ordered multiple over last 4 years
I had my custom ottoman bed made over 4 years ago, and itâs still going strong! The team, along with their couriers, were brilliant throughout the entire process, from helping me customise the design to offering practical advice on measuring our stairs for the tall headboard.
Their after sales care has been just as impressive. When we experienced a minor structural issue with the headboard, they didnât hesitate to remake it and even issued a partial refund.
Since then, Iâve recommended them to friends and family across London, Buckinghamshire, and Berkshire, many of whom have placed orders and are just as pleased with their beds and the service received.
Would highly recommend without hesitation.

Good customisation. Bad organisation
The customisation of the order is great. I was very disappointed when my order arrived without a headboard. Surely it's not hard to make sure it's in the van? I called immediately and was told I'd get a call back soon... I never did.
