Depuis toujours, il y a une différence énorme, de 1 à 10, entre ce que montre Speedtest et ce que je reçois effectivement, confirmé par mon moniteur d'activité réseau sur Mac.

I always rely on speedtest to check who is slow here - me or the site. Whenever it tells me that I'm fast I feel relieved and continue searching on other sites.
I like the opportunity to check the speed in the new places I go. I always use speedtest and the only thing annoying me is the amount of ads. It makes the whole page flashy and disturbing.

After visiting this site, I am now bombarded by warnings and sometimes threatening action against me( my phone)

It's fake. I was experiencing very slow speed. Then I checked with speedtest.net and it was showing 53/20 mbps which is quite impossible. Then I checked with Google Chrome (M-Lab) and that seemed to show 2/10 mbps which was realistic.
FYI - My ISP is More.com.au

It does it job but.... The app constantly uses my location in the background. A LOT. Every 2 min it uses my location for no reason. Thats why i dont trust it

Testato più volte su più linee/operatori, devo dire che rappresenta un riferimento di fatto per avere un termine di paragone sul funzionamento della proprio rete.

L'ho provato per testare la velocità di un mio router ma sto già avendo un problema fastidioso dopo la registrazione, ogni volta che apro la pagina per il test di velocità mi mostra SEMPRE il solito avviso che mi è stata inviata la mail di conferma, io ovviamente l'ho già cliccato (anche più volte per tentare di risolvere il problema) ma continua a mostrarlo, anche in Results History e Settings. Per di più, è ancora possibile condividere i risultati con G+ e aprendo la pagina Help continua a ricaricarsi all'infinito quindi devo bloccarla manualmente. Non capisco perché ogni volta località/server è sempre diversa ma non mi importa, l'importante è che venga risolto quello che ho spiegato senza impiegarci un'anno. Uso SpeedTest in Firefox, che è attualmente alla versione 103.0.2 a 64 bit in Windows 8.1 Enterprise (dettagli per essere più utile).

Everytime my internet speed drop, my ISP always ask me have you checked the speedtest.net? I wonder why, and I checked it, every time the results are so fast, but in reality the speed is only 10% of speedtest.net result. Take your own conclusion.

I've been an IT Technician for over 3 decades and I don't get how ANY person can think this is a scam site, or they offer support, it's FREE, why should they offer support? You don't pay for their service so why should they feel obliged to offer support for free???
It's exactly as the website title suggests, it's AN INTERNET SPEED TEST WEBSITE, there are no popups, there's hardly any advertising on the site, it's not a piece of software, although you can download the app for convenience, so what's the issue and why would you down rate it just because you live in Timbuktu, the phrase not the place(!) and they can't find a near enough server? I've used it all over London, Manchester and places in France amongst other places without any problem, if it doesn't work for you, pick another test site and quit moaning like a little girl!!!
I rate it 5*s and no, i don't have any affiliation with the site, the owners, the sponsors or anything to do with it, I've just used it for over 15 years.

Ottimo, da velocità reale, Ping e cronologia e molte altre cose. Alla faccia dei test delle proprie compagnie che sono del tutto falsi e fuorvianti!
5 minuti per aprire outlook, lo speedtest mi dà una connessione bassissima,, quello della mia compagnia livelli eccellenti! Onore a spedtest, vergogna alla mia compagnia (Ho già pensato a recensirla con 1 stella non occorre che la nomini!)

definitely a scam. received a called from a lady with Indian accent, claiming my internet is slow and other people can access my interest is not secure? whole mouthful... (know it was scam as she said i'm with xxx but i've change company for some time now)
then transfer me to another guy when i told her i see nothing. guy went on to say my internet speed is slow, when i question which company, he had it wrong again, I ask him for contact number so i can contact my ISP to question why they disclose my detail to 3rd party, he muted

No marca las velocidades reales, pero se acercan generalmente

Indian lady called me with a dreadful script claiming to be from the wrong isp, so she transfered me to her "senior supervisor", and indian guy, who told me to go to speedtest dot net, once i refused, he told me to go "fX$& my Sister" and went on a diatribe of things he would love to do to my mother and family.
He then had the audacity to fully change modes and ask if i needed a deal on a holiday to the maldives, to which i declined.
Before parting ways i called him a conman & he told me he had to go as he has more people to take money from.
The call originated from this number 01923267565
Sounded like he was calling from a very large call centre
