Not disable friendly no after care and none completion of work
Today June 17 i recieved a lovely phone call from a lady Sally Horgan who contacted me a week before about my handle and asked me to leave it with her and today my handle issue was sorted It gad been ordered and Sally was posting it to me as I requested do i could get it professionally fitted as a long way to go back to Spinney. She explained the whole aftercare procedures and ordering the handle which if someone had taken the time in the first place it would of helped with the anxiety, but obviously not the mobility issue and the fall.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately I fell the first time I tempted to enter my new motorhome. Which was my dream motorhome and i was on the floor for quite a while i eventually managed with numerous help from family nembers to bum shuffle to step to be able to be assisted out this left me heartbroken as felt like a fool with no confidence in myself. So i bought myself a step with a handle to see if that would help me.
We have just come on our 2nd time out . I managed just to get in motorhome but for the next 5 days that we are away I will not be leaving motorhome in case I fall again .Have lost confidence in myself since my Initial fall. When we get back my husband will make contact if we haven't heard anything from yourselves

Went to Spinney advised by friends as they had a great experience with Spinney Deside.
Started of really well and sales man John Smith was good he was not pushy and we did a deal paid a deposit , and john Smith put on the sales invoice grab handle to be fitted due to me being disabled wheelchair bound alot of the time and second step alot higher would if given me additional suport and courage was even suggested by John Smith as on day of viewing I remained in my wheelchair as was not confident and did not want to fall as Spinney was extremely busy.So idea was brilliant.
Husband went to pick up motorhome and exchange ours. I recieve call from husband to say damp was found so needed to pay extra ,£1000 so I did this was advised that maybe I could get back from Autoguard who we had a year guarantee with did try but this was not the case did not cover damp .
Next thing no grab handle had been fitted told husband that they would do it if we came back as they needed to order one so oviously had ignored sales invoice.
Numerous phone calls emails still no grab handle not even been ordered.
Totally not disable friendly they have left a 61 year old lady disabled struggle to get in her new motorhome.
I have since bought a folding step with grip rail to assist me. If you are disabled then Spinney cheshire is not your place as they dont care they are great selling and even brag about sales they made day before we went but no after care .

Firstly, we are pleased to hear that your initial experience with John was a positive one and that you felt comfortable throughout the sales process. However, we are very sorry to learn of the frustration and disappointment you have experienced since taking delivery of your motorhome.
We completely understand how important the grab handle is in supporting your mobility and confidence when accessing your motorhome, particularly given the circumstances you have described. We sincerely apologise that this was not fitted before collection and for the lack of communication that has followed.
Having reviewed the matter, we can confirm that the grab handle is now in stock. A member of our team will be contacting you shortly to arrange a convenient date for the fitment to be completed as soon as possible.
We are also sorry that the unexpected damp issue with your part exchange added further stress to the handover process. While we appreciate this was disappointing, the additional cost reflected the findings from our inspection at the point of exchange.
Your comments regarding our aftersales service and support for customers with accessibility requirements have been taken seriously and will be reviewed internally. We never want any customer to feel unsupported, and we regret that your experience has left you with that impression.

Disappointed 😞
So picking and been explained the motorhome was fine but when we got home and looked the next day I noticed the bumper panel does not line up,I would have expected to be told about that also cleanliness not very good we had to give a good clean and found a large wasp dead ok but still awning rails not cleaned no spanner for the gas and no bottles after when we viewed it there was 2 gas bottles in and a bug cable reel both taken out. When I pay £49.000 for a vehicle messing around taking gas bottles and cables out even the spanner doe the gas ! seems a bit money grabbing and cheap . Thought that's below your company #disappointed also seems the van has been in an accident which was not disclosed? NOT impressed with that

picking up our new to us caravan
We went over to pick up our new to us Bailey phoenix caravan which ready for to start to plan our trips away, David was the member of staff that ran through the workings of the caravan he was very helpful and there was nothing we asked that he didn't know the answer to he took his time chatting with us and wasn't in any hurry to rush through the the demonstration making sure we where happy was all the workings of the caravan, we would recommend Spinney caravans to anyone looking to buy a new or used caravan

Very unhelpful salesperson.
Just had one of the worst customer service experiences of our lives. We encountered an anmazingly unhelpful “sales” person. Barry was his name. At Spinney, Staffordshire.
It was especially poor when considering the potential purchase was £16k! Perhaps spending £16k isn’t a big deal to Barry? But we feel we deserved a far better standard of customer service. Barry came across as totally uninterested in helping us to find out more about the caravan we wanted to purchase.
He started giving us information about the wrong caravan and then gave the impression he was blaming us for the mix up!
Then I pointed out some information on the Spinney website didn’t agree with what he was telling us. His reply was he/they didn’t write the info on the website. Amazing response.
Our experience with Barry was a complete contrast to sales people at Spinney Northampton and several other Staffs caravan dealers. All of which could not have been more helpful.
Needless to say we will be spending our money elsewhere.

We are sorry to hear that your recent experience at our Staffordshire branch did not meet your expectations.
Following your review, we have investigated the matter internally and discussed your concerns with Barry directly. Barry has asked us to pass on his sincere apologies for the confusion caused during your visit.
Unfortunately, we had two caravans of the same model in stock at the time, and there was a genuine mix-up when the incorrect caravan was selected on our system.
We also understand that another member of staff had provided you with the keys to the caravan you were interested in viewing, which further contributed to the misunderstanding. While this was an unfortunate mistake, we fully appreciate how frustrating this must have been from your perspective.
We would also like to apologise for the incorrect ownership information displayed on our website. The caravan had one previous owner rather than two, and we are sorry for any confusion this caused.
Barry has explained that he was in a middle of dealing with another customer appointment when you walked into the showroom and in hindsight should of got another member of staff to assist you, he is genuinely sorry if this gave the impression that he was uninterested or unhelpful in assisting you.
We value all customer feedback and will use your comments constructively to help improve our customer experience moving forward. We are pleased to hear you received positive service from our Northampton branch.
Once again, please accept our sincere apologies, and we wish you all the best with your future caravan purchase.
A moterhome for our future
We were advised by one of the salesman Simon. He was brilliant, really went the extra mile to help us find the right motorhome. Answered every question patiently, even took us for a test drive and explained all the features without any pressure. Super knowledgeable and genuinely nice guy — made the whole process stress-free. Highly recommend him.

From initial point of contact with Mark the process went along very smoothly. I thought that being from Northern Ireland the process might become disjointed, but that was not the case. Mark returned all my calls, answered all my questions, even the ones that showed my lack of knowledge. Collection day was simple and very professionally carried out. We were introduced to Neil for the handover. He was very knowledgable and patient when bombarded with questions. When we drove off in the vehicle we noticed a couple of items that required attention. We returned the next day and what could be done was done, and arrangements were made to address the remaining issues. The vehicle is now at our house in Northern Ireland with not one regret or feeling of disappointment or doubt. Thanks to all the staff who were involved in the process and we will continue to work with Spinneys in the future for any of our holiday vehicle needs. Our treatment makes the distance irrelevant. Many thanks to you all.

Great service and excellent choice of vehicles
From our initial visit to driving away in our new vehicle, the whole experience was a pleasure. Richard sourced our preferred motorhome and arranged for it to be delivered to the dealership for approval, and was extremely helpful throughout the process. He went above and beyond when we had to borrow a courtesy car to resolve an issue with our bank, and nothing was too much trouble.
We received comprehensive instructions and advice from Neil as well as many useful hints and tips which was great as this is our first leisure vehicle.
I would thoroughly recommend Spinney Cheshire

Sadly though when buying a motor home you will need to check everything.
We were promised 1 years breakdown with our £65k motor home only to find out it didn’t have it. Then after sales never resolved the issue.
