Terrible. The service itself isn’t good, but I cancelled my subscription during my free trial then I deleted my account. Yet I still got charged €37 the next month. Disgraceful practices.

Do NOT sign up for Stage 32!

Do not sign up for this platform!!! I beg you, do not sign up you will regret it. You should avoid this site as much as coronavirus. Here is the reason why:

I signed up for this site hoping to get someone in a career I always wanted since I was a little girl. When I signed up and I was on the site long enough.

I started getting trolls coming to my account. What is even worse about this platform is there is no block system where you can block trolls.

When I reported this to the Stage 32 support, five days after sending the message I got a behind the scenes message on a email address I do not use and was not linked to the account.

It was a very rude, cruel and extremely evil message. I will even quote some of the remarks that were made in the email. “I was told to get lost, nobody will respond to you because nobody gives a s..t, saying everybody is laughing at me and good riddance.”

This is very inappropriate, childish and unprofessional from a site that is supposed to have professional people operating it.

I contact support about a concern I am having on the site and this is what I get!!! Bull crap like this!!! This is simply uncalled for. Even my mom got pissed about this.

This is not an appropriate site for anybody especially if you have autism, are sensitive and very vulnerable. The Stage 32 crew needs to be ashamed of themselves for allowing evilness to happen on their website.

Because of this experience with them, they have forever lost a supporter. I enjoyed using their site until I started getting these people on the site bothering me and reaching out for help leads to cruelty like this. So uncool!!!

You should not use a site where if you are having issues, contact support and you get people from the website cyber bullying you behind your back.

If you want your work published or to sign up for contests, I recommend give all your support to somebody. NEVER I mean never give this site any props.

Don’t sign up, don’t pull it up, don’t even look at it, just ignore this garbage of a website. If they give me evilness in return for seeking help, they will for sure do the same for you.

Just a heads up: I just want others to know when I posted a negative review about this company on Sitejabber. I get another harassing message on my private account.

This proves Stage 32 is not legit! Avoid this company at all costs, sign up for Coverfly. That's another company I found. Had a much better experience, join Coverfly. Do NOT join Stage 32 this site is garbage, trash, filth, an abomination and it doesn't deserve to exist.

I was extremely traumatized on this site and it receives a thousand thumbs down to the moon and back for this trauma, I went through being an active member.

I got caught with a classic hard to cancel subscription "as per the times and conditions". Kiss my backside. Waste of $35 for overpriced dog excrement. Give them nothing and take from them everything.

Thought I would try this as a new start to the year. Paid for an exec pitching session, prepped, came home… and no session. No call on Skype, no apologies for a missed booking. $35 taken for nothing.

I signed up for a free one month trial after which I tried to cancel, but could find no information about my membership and even when signed in. I was charged after a month and when I complained I my membership was cancelled but the $39 weren’t refunded. They did remove my access (even though the money had been paid). Complained again and was given a discount code for that amount to be used on their website. I just wanted my money back as I didn’t want to make use of the service in the first place. It seems to me they make the membership cancellation hard to find exactly so this happens.

Stage32 offers various services to writers including pitch sessions with film/TV executives. The aim is to help writers develop pitching skills in either written or verbal format and also engage with industry professionals.
In the past, writers could freely email these executives and pitch ideas at no cost whatsoever, but nowadays it seems film/TV executives want payment from both their current employers and all potential co-workers.
So, the climate of ethical turpitude which engulfs the industry is growing worse. One day we might need to bribe the postman or he may refuse to hand over our mail.
In any case, after submitting three written pitches, here is my review. The service costs $35 per session which is cheap compared to other services. From the pitch reviews it's clear the executives merely glanced through the pitch because they missed crucial elements of the pitch and oftentimes requested inclusion of elements that were clearly present. One executive failed to appreciate the value of dramatic irony or suspense in a pitch. All this leads me to think that the executives are probably looking at upwards of 100 pitches at any given time - separate to their normal full-time jobs - and are both hard-pressed for time and more interested in the opportunity to earn a few thousand dollars of extra income than in helping writers develop their careers. In short, Stage32 script services it's not a smart way for writers to engage with the industry or develop a writing career.
