fast and easy service

The actual STD test and results were good but DO NOT schedule a consultation through them for medication afterwards.

They told me they would call at a certain time then called 30 minutes before that and refused to give me a refund when I didn’t answer their call. They said they have a two hour window to call for your consultation. Absolutely bogus

Very pleased with this service. Testing was handled by professional labs that were discreet and courteous. I have used STDcheck twice now. And will do so again. Test results were available very fast

Horrible service! 20 days and I still haven't got my results, and it was supposed to be 1-2 days. I don't recommend this company.

I can't stand companies like this. Every single click on the page is some chance to upsell you -- want your results earlier? Pay more! Want to see individual results vs a full panel, pay more! You're not a tech company. You're literally a lab service company.

My experience at the lab equally abysmal -- the poor technician was doing 5 jobs at once, checking people in, extracting blood, working with clients. Why don't you use all that extra money collecting b.s. fees to hire the appropriate staff you need to operate your sites?

Btw I went here specifically because of the promise of fast, easy results. Nope! Maybe if I had paid more.

Everything went super fast and discreet.

I prepaid $353 for testing for me and my partner. I ended up going to my gynecologist and so when I went to cancel my order they only gave me $139 out of the $353 that paid. Watch out! Once you pay you cannot get a full reimbursement. They told me it was in the fine print. SCAM!

Terrible scam website. They lie about what tests you're buying and then act like they did nothing wrong. Overpriced tests and use false advertising to scam people. This website is fraudulent and dishonest.

Everything was perfect EXCEPT their incorrect use of the word “window”. The NAT-RNA-PCR window is NOT narrow. I understand English. Most English speakers do not. The testing window is early. NOT narrow. When you say the window is narrow and show 9-11, an accurate reading would mean that it is only accurate between the 9th and 11th day. In reality the window is early on the leading edge and to understand the trailing edge you have to do much more reading and then infer from other conversations that the trailing edge of the window occurs as the bodiy’s immune system suppresses the actual virus to below detectable levels and that process is different for different people, with different immune systems, and there is no hard edge for that. We are not told its accuracy (sensitivity and specificity) at 30 days, and at 60 days. We are told elsewhere that by the 90th day antibodies have suppressed the virus in most people and this test can give false negatives.

For God’s sake. You need someone who understands English, who has not written your texts, to read it.

Yours is better than most. But you make the same mistake EVERY other HIV resource makes. You do not know that a the metaphor of windiw with respect to a timeline has TWO SIDES—the leading edge which is how soon it is accurate and the trailing edge which is when it declines and should be supplemented with a test that tests for antibodies.

You are dealing with life and death. Do you know how many airplane crashes occur because of imprecise communication between pilots and ATC controllers? Hundreds of people have died because of the phrase, OK. What does OK mean? Does it mean I heard you but I’m going ahead anyway or I will obey?

All the information about sensitivity and specifics can be conveyed with a sensibly labeled table.

Your site is better than most with respect to windows but not the best. You should clean this up. You could also have another table that lays out what sequence of tests you should do in flow chart diagram—relative to days since exposure.

From my reading I would recommend the penultimate 4th gen at 90 days and the last at six months.

Because we are talking about life and death.

You could offer recommended packages going out six months—in the case of repeated negative results. It would not only benefit the patient (who is both a scared patient and a motivated customer) and be good for business.

Other than this issue, and some screwups with the dates of the tests, your service is a good one.

This is a predatory company, I erroneously made an appointment and cancelled it within an hour. They billed me a 20% cancellation fee. Corporate greed, do not trust this company

STDCheck.com is supposed to be quick, confidential, and convenient. It isn't any of those things. Potentially starting a new romantic relationship, I decided to do a screening, preparing for an upcoming date night. I signed up and paid. The first issue was with the clinic...a LabCorps clinic...was loacted in a hospital. No indication prior to arrival that would be the case, so it was hard to find, so NOT CONVENIENT. Then when I finally found the clinic...the 'clerk' very loudly demanded that I provide my ID and insurance card. When you sign up with STDCheck the website tells you very clearly that you don't have to provide either. He repeatedly demanded that I provide this information over and over again, getting louder and louder, even enlisting other patients in the waiting list in demanding my ID and insurance card. So NOT CONFIDENTIAL. I then called the customer service line to complain, only to be told, 'that can't be true our contractors understand you needn't give your ID and insurance card, ' and ordering me to go to a different clinic across the lake (requiring a half and hour drive and a toll), or downtown, which would cost me more time and require me to search for and pay for parking (Seattle has almost no parking and what little parking it has is outrageously expensive). I kept explaining that the options provided were not workable for me. So, not QUICK. The whole point of using this service is that you pay up front, show up at the site, complete your testing, and your results show up on a secure site. NONE OF THOSE THINGS HAPPENED THE WAY THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO. I WAS HUMILIATED, EMBARASSED, AND THEY CHARGED ME WHEN I COULDN'T GO TO ANOTHER CLINIC A 20% CANCELLATION FEE, for their own incompetence. STDCheck is horrible. I'd give them a zero star rating if I could. The worst. When a service promised to be quick, confidential, and convenient and it isn't...there is a problem. Having to stand in a crowded clinic, explaining that I am there for STD testing, is also approaching a HIPPA violation. Bad, bad, bad.

Frauds. Didn’t provide a service, kept my money. That’s a good way to lose $289.
The better business bureau has been informed.
