No.1 Supply Team - Norfolk
I have been on supply with STEP Teachers since September 2025 after being made redundant from my previous job. They are an amazing supply company that do their best to get work to me as often as possible. Even from September I was getting between 3-4 days of work which soon increased to 5. They respect what I do and do not want to do and I have never felt pressured to do otherwise.
I soon took on a long term role and loved it! So much so, they had me back in September and Iâm still there! James, Jamie and Josée would regularly check in and Josée keeps a regular correspondence with my school.
I signed up to one other supply agency to ensure work and managed to get all of 1 day with them! Their support was no comparison to STEP so I removed myself from their register and now solely work with these amazing people!
They pay me on a weekly basis is much better than filling out a form and waiting for schools to process (The one day I worked for the other company was in October but I didnât receive payment until December). No anxieties over what is coming in and what is going out.
At the end of the summer term, I enjoyed a glorious boat trip on the Norfolk Broads as an end of year treat from STEP and they have done other small meets since to keep a personal check of their team. Such lovely opportunities and an ability to see the team in person and put a face to the name. STEP have also recently offered StepOn training to support us with the increasing individual support needs in school settings. You wonât go wrong with this team. On a personal note I was second questioning continuing in my profession. Being able to teach in different schools and get the positive feedback I regularly received helped me believe in myself again, especially when I was requested back! I couldnât be more grateful.
