Great service and value, and Andy looked after us admirably

Stokers was highly recommended to us by a friend, so we headed down to chester and we were pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality on offer.
First we were helped out by Nathan, which we had great advice from and then we came to a decision which Joe Tudor, finalised the deal professionally and quickly.
Both were very helpful and friendly indeed.
Very impressed and we are looking forward to enjoying our purchases and will return when we need more stock!
We were highly impressed by the final price and would highly recommended stokers and the team!!!!

My husband and I went to Visit Ormskirk Market on Saturday.
On the way back to the train station we called in at Stokers, just to browse, we sat down on a GPlan settee and fell in love with it, there was a sale on and the settee seemed good value for money.
We spoke to Tracey the sales assistant, who gave us all the information about the manufacture, the variations it came in and different materials.
She was not a typical sales person pushing you to buy, she was very friendly and knowledgeable,an absolute pleasure to talk to.
We ended up purchasing a three and a two sofa set with powered foot rests, just an impulse buy, but I can’t wait for it to arrive.

We have purchased various items from Stokers over the years and have always been impressed with the range, price and quality of items. Service is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy, ie no hard sell, the sales people leave you to browse until you are ready to place an order. I had a fantastic experience at Stokers Chester. Scott Dupree was incredibly patient, knowledgeable and helpful throughout the whole process.
I spent what felt like forever trying to decide on the right sofa, changing configurations and asking lots of questions, but nothing was ever too much trouble. Scott took the time to help me find the best option for my living room and I never felt rushed or pressured into making a decision.
Communication has been excellent from start to finish, and even after placing my order, Scott has continued to answer my questions and offer help. His customer service has been outstanding.

A week ago we visited Stokers with a view to purchasing some bedroom furniture, we saw a range we liked but was unable to see exactly what we needed. Nathan took our contact details, researched the product and promptly answered our queries. We have returned today to place an order. We have shopped here before and found all staff to be like Nathan, friendly, informative, knowledgeable but not too pushy.

We had a great experience ordering a new sofa at the Chester Stokers with Steve recently. He was very helpful, the process was simple and easy, and we’re looking forward to receiving it soon.

We recently visited the Chester store to purchase new sofas. We dealt with Martin Worley, who was brilliant -- friendly and helpful without being pushy or intrusive. He gave us (lots of) time and space to work through our options and preferences over a couple of visits, whilst always being on hand to answer queries; provide extra details, samples, etc; and support us through the process. The overall experience was refreshingly positive, offering quality products that are available to assess in situ alongside a relaxed yet professional environment and excellent customer service. Highly recommended.

We called at Stokers Chester shop to check out an Ercol Rocking Chair for our lounge. The chair in the shop was fine in every respect apart from the colour.( which we knew) After chatting to Julie Williams, we quickly selected a colour( from a colour chart) and ordered and paid for a chair to be delivered in Sept. The whole process was made slicker because we had bought a sofa from Stokers a few years ago and all our details were still on their computer system. Consequently the whole transaction was very easily transacted. Julie was great to deal with and it was a very pleasant experience. It’s a great shop and definitely worth a wander round!!

I would like to thank Tracy Corns from the Ormskirk store who went above and beyond to help us make the right decisions about our new suite.
We visited the store 3 times to make amendments to our order and each time Tracy offered good advice and was professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for her, very satisfied with the service, thank you Tracy

The store is attractive and well laid out. I’m disabled and was looking to buy a bed. Beds are invariably on the first floor so a lift was essential.
Buying a bed is confusing with so many variables. Graham Bedworth was very helpful and patient helping me narrow the choice to two and I bought a back care bed at a very good price.

We visited Stokers in Chester wanting to buy an Ekornes recliner chair and a new sofa. The large showroom had a good range of both on display so we were able to see and try out the items we had been considering. Julie and Nathan were friendly and helpful, guiding us through the process of confirming which items worked best for us and placing the order.

We needed a new mattress and Peter Thackway was there to help us along the way. He clearly knew his stuff and was happy to listen and able to guide us on what options were best for us.
Communication was great all the way through, keeping in touch right up until delivery. Great service! will be back again for more purchases in the future!

We returned to Stokers to buy some more furniture items in a particular range, purchased from them some years ago. As before, staff are on hand ready to advise as & when needed. The items on display were enough to give us an idea of what we wanted, along with the brochure. We were assisted by Graeme Beresford, whose knowledge of the manufacturer & their products helped us with our choices. Ordering our items was an easy process, and Graeme kept us informed of progress to the delivery date.
Arranging delivery was also straightforward & we are very pleased with our furniture, which arrived today! Thanks again to Graeme and to Stokers for such great service.
