I had a lovely shopping experience at Stokers Chester. Nathan Lowndes was my assistant on a slow Monday afternoon. He introduced himself & said if I needed any help to let him know. I had a good wander round & tried a few beds & when I was ready he came over & we had a nice chat about what kind of thing I was after & what my budget was. No hard sell, no patronising mansplaining, no push for an insurance add-on. I was very happy with my purchase & would recommend the friendly, affable and knowledgeable Nathan!

We called into Stokers Chester on the 14th May 2026 looking for a new bed and with professional help from Joe Tudor on sales we purchased one .
All questions were answered well and helpful with no pressure sales at all so all good .

We had previously purchased 2 sofas from Stokers (25 years ago!!) so when the time came to make a decision on a new sofa for our kitchen area, we checked out Stokers to see if they had anything suitable for our needs. The amount of quality furniture at very reasonable prices was amazing, so too was the care and attention of Jenny, who was available for consultation on the selection of the sofa but was never intrusive. Having made our choice, Jenny then helped advise us on the various options available on the sofa we’d selected. The way she handled the final order was so efficient and covered everything that was needed in a really great manner. We left the store having made the right decision and extremely happy with the service that we had received. We’d happily recommend Stokers furniture store without hesitation.

Needed to change our new sofa, the shops process is seamless, dealt with by jenny again, proffesional and friendly. Thank you

I’ve just ordered some furniture from Stokers Southport store. The showroom is a delight to wander around, as something always catches your eye. A friendly, unhurried atmosphere that lets you ponder over prospective purchase.
The Sales Team are very helpful and knowledgeable about their items on sale A special thanks to Andrew Cleverley for his hard work in ensuring we got the correct chairs for our table.

My husband and I visited Stokers in Southport today. It's a lovely store to walk around with plenty to choose from. We made our choice after being served by Graham Bedworth who was very knowledgeable and informative on the chair and sofa we purchased. Thank you for all your help.

Great experience from the get go. Was greeted by Roy at the front and had further interaction with Graham who couldn’t give enough time to us. He was great. He mentioned the deals on offer and after exploring other options at the bigger retailers later in the day, we returned to Stokers the next day as they couldn’t be beaten on price or quality.

Roy was extremely helpful and didn’t put any pressure on us - just let us know he was there when we needed him. He talked us through the options with the couch and financing options in depth.

Overall great experience and look forward to the couches arriving!!

Peter Thackway from Stokers in Chester was so helpful in assisting us in choosing our new dining room table and chairs. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the product and spent time ensuring the design and colours were just right for our room. Nothing was too much trouble! We look forward to using it all when we move into our new house.
