Fraudulent company

This company storm.trading has sold me a blender that I never received. I had to spend hours tracking it but and they sent me to RoyalMail to reclaim it but PRoypal Mail!s robot only toldmeit had been delivered. It must have been delivered to the wrong address. Storm trading refused to reimburse me or send a replacement. They are dishonest and greedy. Don’t order anything from them.

faulty goods

I purchased a bread toaster from this company and it failed after only 9 months of light use. No replies to my emails or customer back up . No offer to repair or replace this unit and no offers to refund me . I will not be using this company again . I advise you not to use this company

Ordered packing boxes on next day


Ordered packing boxes on next day delivery on Monday. Nothing appeared until Wednesday when I got a delivery photo which wasn't even at my property. The boxes were outside in heavy overnight rain before my neighbour found them so consequently they were now wet through and not fit for purpose. After contacting this seller on numerous occasions they asked me to open the package to see how many were usable and they would give me a 50% refund! I refused and after 3 more messages they finally got the message and have now offered a full refund. This matter has taken 4 days of messages backwards and forwards plus photos being sent and I have also had to pay a cancellation fee to the company who were collecting the filled boxes all because I didn't get my order as promised.
If your time is valuable don't involve yourself with this company. Customer service is useless.

A Complete and Utter Disgrace – Storm Trading Should Be Ashamed

Storm Trading has failed me catastrophically. And unless they make drastic changes to their operations—starting with severing all ties with the shambolic courier Yodel—I strongly advise you to stay far away from this company.

On Monday 14 July, I placed an order for packing boxes. A basic, essential item, yes—but time-sensitive, as I’m in the midst of a major house move. These boxes were not optional; they were critical.

Storm Trading promised next-day delivery via Yodel on Tuesday 15 July.

It is now Sunday 20 July.
The boxes never arrived. The move is in chaos. The stress is real. The service is non-existent.

What Went Wrong? Where do I even begin?

Yodel’s tracking system has shown “out for delivery” for five days straight—a blatant lie. No parcel has ever turned up.

I’ve waited in every day expecting the delivery, wasting hours of my time. I reorganised work commitments. I cancelled plans. For what? A ghost package.

I contacted customer service—crickets. When I did get through, responses were dismissive, robotic, and infuriatingly unhelpful. Storm Trading continuously lied that the package was on its way.

No offer of resolution. No refund. No apology. Not even an honest update.

This isn’t just a breakdown in logistics—it’s a total collapse of responsibility. Storm Trading is 100% accountable for choosing a courier with one of the worst reputations in the UK. If your business is built on fulfilling timely orders, you don’t get to hide behind the courier. You own the failure. And this was a monumental one.

What Was the Impact?
Material disruption to a planned house move.

Needless stress and emotional drain during an already exhausting process.

Financial cost—I had to source boxes from elsewhere at double the price, and I’ve received no refund from Storm Trading.

The product is now redundant and unwanted. The moment has passed. The failure is total.

Let’s Talk Accountability

Storm Trading:

You sold a promise you couldn’t keep.

You outsourced delivery to an abysmal partner with a known history of incompetence.

You then ghosted your responsibility when everything collapsed.

This is not just a bad experience—it’s a damning indictment of how little you value your customers. You took my money, offered no service in return, and now seem to think I’ll just disappear quietly.

Let me assure you—I won’t.

I’ve already escalated this through legal and media channels. I am:

A national journalist.

A PR agency founder.

And someone with the platform and reach to ensure stories like this get told.

I’ve now published this review as a warning to others:
Do not trust Storm Trading. Do not give them your money. Do not believe their delivery promises.

Until this company publicly acknowledges its failures, refunds affected customers, and cuts ties with Yodel entirely, it deserves to be held accountable and judged accordingly.

I rarely write reviews, but this experience was so uniquely appalling that silence would be complicity.

Disappointed by Return Process and Lack


Disappointed by Return Process and Lack of Support

I returned a parcel using the return label provided by this company, which uses Evri as their chosen courier. I dropped the parcel off at a designated Evri drop-off point on 19th May, following the return instructions to the letter.

After hearing nothing for two weeks, I contacted the company and was informed the return had not been received.I’ve tried to resolve this with Evri, but their system is entirely automated and directed me back to the retailer.

Unfortunately, the company has refused to help further, stating that because I dropped it off, it’s not their responsibility. This leaves me without the parcel, the product, or a refund.

I’m disappointed that I’ve been left bearing the cost, despite doing exactly what was asked. I understand that things can go wrong, but when a business chooses a courier, they also choose the service standards that come with it—and in this case, there has been no accountability or resolution.

The best they did was tell me I can keep the box and give me a partial refund of £4, considering I could have bought the delivered box cheaper from them, of course I refused! Utter shambles of a customer service!

Super fast delivery

Placed an order 30 minutes after the cutoff time for next day delivery. However the item arrived next day and less than 24 hours from ordering to delivery.
Great company and would recommend to anyone.

Had a delivery on Friday and a item was missing informed them via a e-mail had an automated response now Tuesday and still No Response to the Problem.
Not very good customer service.
Now bought the item cheaper elsewhere

After 3 daily emails I have now had a response but not the goods yet.

Well, I am still waiting 4 working days after ordering but by using the email on one of the other reviews,
but i am not allowed to give the email on here. I managed to get a conversation with Chelsea who is trying to get me my order as soon as possible but Yodel is stating Saturday. In fairness to Yodel they only received the order today looking at the update provided. The fault in my opinion is with the warehouse manager for not having control of his operation or the web site information which clearly promises what the Manager has not delivered. I will update if and when the order to boxes arrive but unless it is Friday then they will be too late for me to get loaded into this month's sea shipment. I have managed to buy similar boxes at more expense which is more annoying. I hope that customer services bring this to the attention of their CEO as they need to sort out this operation . I am not alone.

This company is to be avoided

This company is to be avoided. Having sent me the wrong item via Amazon they have not processed or responded to my refund and their telephone number is incorrect online. Very disappointed and out of pocket for both goods and expensive return

Missing items on Delivery - difficult to contact.

Only 2 of my 4 items were delivered, yet my order said dispatched. Tried to call them twice, but the automated message told me they couldn't take my call and just hung up. After emailing and leaving an initial low score review here, then raising an issue via Paypal I eventually got an unsigned email response to say the order somehow go split and would arrange priority delivery. I am pleased to say the rest of the order has now arrived and I will close the issue with Paypal. Probably won't use them again, but they did deliver in the end.

Our primary postage supplier

We use Storm Trading for all the our postage and packaging requirements. As a small business selling seasoned salt (The Chicken Salt Company) our main business is shipping products out to consumers.

Super fast delivery after each order and top quality products. They provide all our jiffy bags, bubble wrap and brown paper. Brilliant company.
