So far so good
Early days for me, as this is the start of a process, but thus far the advice and professional aspect has been very good. As others have said, lawyers are not cheap, but hopefully the results will support the cost of the advice. One slight annoyance is the constant requirement for payment up front, but I guess I grudgingly understand this given the unknown nature of most clients.

Excellent solicitors with experience in family law
Everyone has been amazing since the start of my journey with them, from the first initial call to the final hearing.
I had Danielle and then Sarah represent me. Both were extremely knowledgable, empathetic and the communication was brilliant.

Massively Overpricing
I instructed this company to help with a financial divorce settlement and it was a massive mistake. They have ridiculous costs such as £29 for an email. There estimated costs originally were 8k however in the end it cost me 22k before I decided enough was enough. They made me feel that i had no choice but to continue to go with them due to there expertise and the consequences if I didn't. I do genuinely believe that my solicitor (Cheryl) was thinking of the firms interest rather then mine. Once i decided to stop instructing them to work for me i did complain and received a partial refund of £1500 which again they basically told me was a take it or leave offer and if I went to the financial ombudsman that they would not offer me anything near that amount. If you have money to burn then this is the company for me however if you are a normal working class person I would advise you to find a different firm.

Highly recommended... Don't look elsewhere, this firm truly is the expert in its field,
I had the pleasure of working with Rachel Roberts and Jake Mitchell regarding a family law/property issue.
Both are extremely professional, knowledgeable, dedicated, full of advice, and also pleasantly personable. It was also refreshing that both were always available to listen to me.
Jake Mitchell my assigned representative helped me so much more than I originally expected. Ever the professional with the added skill to not confuse me with legal jargon.
The whole process was a pleasure.

My Solicitor, Rachael Wilson was amazing. She was able to clearly explain things to me and guide me through a very stressfull time in my life. Prior to our visit we were nervous and apprehensive but we had no reason to be as Danielle was absolutely superb. Danielle was caring, empathetic, knowledgeable but most of supportive. She listened, understood the challenges we faced and gave sound advice. She made us feel at ease and we left feeling better but also more prepared for the challenges we know we are going to face in future. I would recommend Danielle to anyone but especially those who feel scared, vulnerable and alone. Exceptional service and support
Charlotte was incredibly supportive during a very difficult and painful time in my life. She was clear and concise in her advice, and always took the time to explain the benefits and downfalls of pursuing the different aspects of the divorce negotiations, and was always very clear as to what battles were worth fighting. She has been an absolute godsend to me throughout the whole process and ensured that the end result was in my favour wherever possible. I would have no hesitation in recommending Stowes and Charlotte in particular for any matrimonial/ family matters where legal advice is needed, and indeed I have already referred people off the back of the fantastic service I recieved.

Divorce
Rachel & Angela kept me well informed throughout the whole process. . The team were very professional, approachable and quick to respond when urgency was required. This has been one of the most stressful times of my life but was made much simpler with Stowes. I would highly recommend them to anyone unlucky enough to be going through a divorce and not knowing where to start.

Stowe Family Law have been superb from the start to the finish of the process. All the staff are very friendly and easy to talk to about uncomfortable matters, they are very understanding and they explained things to me very clearly throughout my journey. They were very patient with my questions, and they explained the legal concerns clearly.
