Superb navigation through a complex family matter always on hand and with excellent advice

Finding someone to deal with a highly emotional and intimidating experience such as a divorce can be incredibly difficult. Thankfully Debbie and all at Stowe Family Law really helped me along the entire process in a human, communicative and efficient way, making the process so much easier to deal with - and gave me my life back! Don't use anybody else.

From start to finish, communication and my experience overall has been great with Stowe's & Hannah Ross specifically, whom was tasked with my case.

From what started as a fixed fee consultation with Hannah, all the way to a final court hearing for child visitation, Hannah has been amazing throughout. With regular updates, advice and compassion for my situation; it was a first class experience.

Whilst Stowe's Family law may be slightly more expensive than the average High Street Solicitors, I would consider it money well spent, even for my less complicated case. It helped reduce stresses greatly, in what is a naturally stressful time.

I had a fixed fee consultation with Cheryl and I was very happy with the service I received. Cheryl was very through, professional and easy to talk to. Even though it was a fixed fee consultation I didn’t feel rushed at all and was listened too. I was given comprehensive advice which was followed by written recommendations, which was also incredibly thorough and easy to understand. It was my first experience with a solicitor and she guided me through everything I needed to know.

My personal solicitor was Shanika Varga and from our very first meeting I felt comfortable and assured I was getting the best service.
Going through the family court to gain more access to my two boys was the last thing I wanted to do but ultimately had no choice.
The whole process was made to feel personal to me and caring about my feelings along the way.
I always thought of solicitors being just about the end result and not connected to the case but with Shankia I felt she was with me all the way for support and advice. I felt she really went into my relationship with my children and the outcome I was aiming for. Doing it the right way despite the opposition being abit naughty and trying to bend the rules.

Very knowledgeable and know their stuff. Really helped me through my divorce and issues I wouldn’t have been able to tackle myself. The only negative for me, is that I felt it could have been resolved much quicker than it was. Perhaps the workload is too high.
All in all, I would recommend Stowe.

There's no part of getting a divorce that is easy but Jake at Stowe Family Law made things so much easier than they might otherwise have been. A very professional and caring approach was adopted by the whole team throughout the process. Would recommend without hesitation.

Stowe failed with many aspects of their work whilst handling my case.

They ignored requests I made regarding contact and third party interactions.

They refused provide me with a breakdown of what I had been charged for historically after errors were found in their recent billings to me.

They did not send a DSAR in the allotted timescales when requested and breached ICO regulations. When it was sent they did not deliver it on paper as requested and it did was severely lacking in content.

They misled me in relation to making me pay in full when there was options to be able to pay instalments.

They twice charged around 3k for a half hour long court hearing which even the barrister involved stated the prices I’m paying are astronomical and to look to use another solicitor who does exactly same service but for half the price.

They made numerous errors and were very unapologetic in my complaints, they ignored aspects of the complaint and also accused me of fabricating things (which I had to trawl through emails from 2 years ago to prove them wrong)

I had a terrible experience with this company.
