I was very well welcome and feel in a safe environment the first time I met with the team. The process for the complexity of my divorce was well structured, very good advise and good follow-up from my lawyer.
The only downside which is from all law firms in the UK I believe is related to the money involved. The lawyer should not be the one requesting funds upfront on a regular basis. I prevented myself on asking too many questions to avoid being charged as my budget was tight and that part was stressful for me.

Knowledgeable, Supportive and Professional
I had an initial consultation with Pooja regarding my divorce and was very impressed with her professionalism and knowledge.
She took the time to understand my situation in detail and explained the divorce process in a clear and straightforward way. She answered all of my questions patiently and made sure I understood the legal aspects, particularly around financial orders, clean break orders, and what steps I should take next.
I appreciated that she gave practical advice tailored to my circumstances rather than simply explaining the law in general. She was honest about what she could advise on and recommended speaking to an immigration solicitor for the immigration aspects of my case, which gave me confidence that she was acting in my best interests.
Throughout the consultation, she was approachable, compassionate, and easy to talk to. I left the meeting feeling much more informed and with a clear understanding of the next steps.

I had my initial consultation with Kirsty Dourado, an associate level solicitor in the firm. I had shared all the details of the case ahead of our meeting.
After gathering further information and obtaining clarifications, Kirsty introduced the various areas of law that were relevant to my case. She also explained how such cases would normally progress and the different things that I should consider.
It is for me, a large undertaking to hire a lawyer when the rate is not inexpensive. However, I left the meeting feeling confident that my case was in good hands. Kirsty was clear on the law and clear in her communications in helping me understand the issues, the risks and available options. Both knowledge and experience were evident which was very reassuring.

Great experience with Shivi Rajput
Shivi Rajput was helpful, efficient and understanding when acting on my behalf in a no-fault divorce. She was very responsive and made an effort to understand my situation and aims. She provided clear advice and it felt like she was always keen to find a solution to achieve the eventual aim - not always my experience with solicitors in other situations.
I have no hesitation in highly recommending her!

Ciara was both approachable and knowledgable. I had a very productive first meeting to the extent where I’m looking to engage her further in the process. I had done a lot of research ahead of our meeting but she was able to clearly articulate where I might be challenged on my thinking both by mediators and/or the courts.

I cannot speak highly enough of Ciara Pugh and Rebecca Bridson at Stowe Family Law. I came to them in the middle of an absolute crisis, having been severely let down by my previous solicitors who had botched critical paperwork and missed a vital court notice.
From the moment Ciara and Rebecca took over the file, the difference in professionalism, strategic thinking, and urgency was night and day. They immediately identified the procedural errors made by the previous firm (specifically regarding expert testing applications) and worked tirelessly to rectify them and get my case back on track.
Rebecca’s attention to detail and clear communication kept me grounded during an incredibly stressful time, and Ciara’s leadership ensured we secured excellent counsel on very short notice.
