Highly recommended family law service

Paula Lucena & Legal Strategy Meeting
I met with to Paula Lucena discuss my recent separation. Having had one-off, initial consultation chats with solicitors at other firms, I was still left unclear as to how best to proceed due to my particular circumstances, but not ready - for many reasons - to instruct as yet. I was drawn to Stowe because of their one-off ‘legal strategy meeting’ service, and was put in touch with Paula. I am so glad I did - her advice was insightful, firm when necessary, but also extremely considerate around some highly sensitive aspects of my situation. Whilst I work out next steps, I can wholeheartedly recommend using Paula and this service for anyone who needs help navigating their next move, and if I do move to instruct, Paula will be my first choice. Helpful advice and follow up
From initial enquiry all staff have been really professional and kind. The advice given has been very helpful and there has been a lot of follow up to check in to ensure I am OK and to offer help and support. I have been sent links for podcasts and blogs as well, to help me to navigate my way through my situation. My nominated solicitor understands my timeframes and there is no pressure to proceed any quicker.

Difficult process made easy
I have only had 1 meeting so far (my strategy meeting) with Zanariah and she was supportive and explained the process clearly and part of the process she had to explain more than once because at times I did feel overwhelmed, but she remain kind and calm throughout, which I really appreciated. I feel empowered to go for what I want and need at this moment in time.

I had a really positive experience working with Pooja Patel and Rosanna Hounslow during what is, by nature, a very daunting process. From the outset, they were incredibly responsive and generous with their time, offering clear, upfront advice without trying to charge for every interaction. That early guidance made a huge difference in helping me understand the process and feel more in control at a point where it’s easy to feel uncertain about which direction to take.
What stood out most was how they worked with me. I’m quite detail-oriented and particular in how I approach things, and they took the time to listen and adapt to my style rather than dominate discussions. They were thoughtful and honest in their advice, clear on what I should and shouldn’t do, while still giving me space to challenge and explore different angles without it ever feeling uncomfortable. As a senior executive, I genuinely felt like I was collaborating with colleagues on a shared project, which made the whole experience far more manageable and constructive than I had expected.
They understood my goals, and as a result we were able to agree the consent order without needing to go to court, which was something I was keen to avoid. Importantly, they never pushed me towards taking unnecessarily aggressive positions, even where it may have been possible to do so. That approach helped avoid unnecessary conflict, prolonged disputes, and additional costs. They consistently acted with integrity and genuine client interest in mind, rather than pursuing actions that might generate further fees. There were also several instances where they actively advised against certain steps to save costs, which I greatly appreciated. Overall, they clearly prioritise helping their clients navigate the process as smoothly and constructively as possible.

Today I had an appointment with Zanariah Webster. She was very informative and talked me through the process. I feel confident that she will guide me through a difficult experience. She is both Professional and empathetic. It's only the beginning of my journey. I hope that she can achieve a fair outcome for me. I am grateful for her expertise.
I am editing this review because I wrote this while I was feeling somewhat overwhelmed with information, having just returned home from my 1st strategy meeting. Now I have been contacted by the legal team and fees sent to me, I realise that I cannot possibly afford to go ahead. I am quite shocked. I
will amend my rating to reflect this. I don't know how low to middle income people can be legally represented. Seems to me that if you want to protect what little assets you have you will have a massive Lawyers bill. Hugely disappointing.

Great help on a complex case
