Total Scam
We engaged Studyin to assist with obtaining an RPL qualification for one of our employees.
Our main point of contact was Sheryll (Studyin RPL Provider) â +61 440 137 038.
Initially, the customer service was responsive and helpful, which gave us enough confidence to proceed. We also noted that reviews online can be mixed and not always reliable, and as a registered Australian business turning over approximately $3 million annually, we were comfortable taking a calculated risk to get one of our team formally certified.
The process cost us over $3,500, which we were prepared to invest for a legitimate and efficient outcome.
However, as the process progressed, communication became unclear and delays started to occur without transparent updates.
After some time, we contacted a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) directly to better understand the process. The RTO confirmed they had no connection or relationship with Studyin.
This raised serious concerns around how the process had been represented to us.
Itâs also worth noting that at the time of our initial review, there appeared to be a different Trustpilot business/profile associated with this service, which now appears to have been removed or amended.
For anyone considering using a third-party RPL provider, my advice would be simple:
Go directly to a registered RTO.
RTOs are the organisations that actually assess and issue qualifications. Working directly with them ensures:
Clear communication
Proper assessment processes
Accountability
Compliance with industry standards
Using a middleman introduces unnecessary risk, cost, and confusion without adding real value.
Unfortunately, our experience has resulted in lost time, over $3,500 in costs, and a lack of confidence in the process.
I would strongly encourage others to do their due diligence and deal directly with a legitimate RTO.
