Great communication. Honest and friendly service. Very happy with my new car!

Atrocious customer service. My son bought an Astra through this company and we have had to return it multiple times for a fault they said was fixed each time.
Ultimately the car is being returned but they mess yuo around at every turn and months later we still dont have a proper resolution. DONT USE THEM.

Warning, warning, warning!!!
This dealership turned my life upside down. Specialist Cars sold me a car that needed a new clutch within ONE WEEK of owning it — and that wasn’t the only issue. Dashboard warning lights started appearing almost immediately. Faults this serious, this fast, are beyond unacceptable. It’s a clear sign they’re selling cars with major problems and hoping customers don’t notice.

I have kids, a job, and a busy family life, and this mess caused absolute chaos. There was no urgency, no accountability, and no genuine effort to fix anything. Instead, I was fed excuse after excuse while they dragged their feet and wasted my time.

I had to make multiple 40‑minute round trips, each one completely pointless. Nothing was fixed. Nothing moved forward. Every visit meant rearranging childcare, juggling work, and dealing with unnecessary stress — all because they sold me a faulty car and refused to take responsibility.

They don’t offer courtesy cars, leaving you stranded. And the garage they use? “too busy” to deal with the fault they sold me. Meanwhile, I was left with a broken car and zero support. Instead of owning their mistake, they tried to push me into using my warranty — anything to avoid dealing with the issue themselves.

Thankfully, we caught the clutch problem early and refused to be fobbed off. We saw exactly what this dealership was — evasive, unreliable, and completely uninterested once they’ve taken your money. We demanded a refund and eventually got one, but only after far too much stress, upset, and wasted time.

If you have a family, a job, or any responsibilities at all, stay far away from Surrey specialist cars Faulty cars, no urgency, no support, and absolutely no accountability.

Arranged to visit Surrey specialist cars to look at a ‘lovely’ VW golf at specific time today. When we got the car if was in a terrible state inside and out, it was described as a lovely example online but in reality had significant scratches on six panels and dents on four, it has not been valeted or even cleaned and asking price was for car in great condition, quick google suggested it was over priced by £2k at a dealer. No negotiation is allowed at this dealership and totally wasted trip

Will, Steve and mark have to be one of the nicest people I've ever met, best team I've worked with, even while things didn't go the way we needed they always stayed positive and help me through everything

Terrible company. Brought a car from them and after a few months there was catastrophic problems with the engine. No resolution from them. Avoid like the plague

Bought a car at SSC from James, who was really polite and friendly. We got a Vauxhall Astra Estate. The car was very well presented and there was no pressure in the sale. We got to fully look over the car alone and then go for a test ride with James who explained everything about the car. The service and MOT history was provided up front and the whole process was stress free. James took us through the purchasing procedure and made everything very easy. Thank you so much, we love the car!

James was very professional sale went easy no hard selling just left me to look around the car.

Wow. What an awful experience. We drove 1.5 hours to see two cars. We went into reception and were just handed the keys and told they were outside, nobody came out to help us or give us any information about them, the cars were so dirty, tyre pressure warning came on both. We handed the keys back and left, no one even came out to check we were ok. Don’t bother what a waste of time.
