They have really changed, and NOT for the better!
I used to really like Swap but they have made some big changes. I placed an order and it took over a month to receive it. I tried four times contacting customer service and never heard back. Your phone line even said it had been disconnected. Also, when you try to log into your account you have to wait for a security code that takes up to 24 hours to come. When I finally did receive my order I tried to return the items that did not fit and was denied returning them. So now I have $75 worth of clothes that donât fit. Some of my favourite clothing items have come from them in the past and they used to offer free shipping for returns. I will no longer be shopping with them.

I sent in a box over a year ago. I constantly asked for updates and havenât gotten a response since they changed the site. They stole my items, gave me literally nothing for them and refuse to respond. Avoid at all costs.

I accidentally used the wrong address. I emailed them a few minutes later and they could not change it. Money lost. No refund.
Scammers- stealing people's account credits
I've used this site a ton and USED to love it. Gradually things got more expensive, free shipping amount went up, and they started charging for returns. I get it, and kept ordering anyways.
However, apparently they were recently sold and the new company did something to the site where all account info was lost. I had almost $100 in store credit from returns and their support team is telling me they can't find an account with my email address. I even have a few inbound and return shipping labels that I sent to help them, which shows I had an account and has all kinds of searchable info, but they just stop responding and are not doing the right thing.
Deleting these accounts without providing the same credits on the new account is THEFT. This company should have automatically added credits without people needing to write in, but they are shady.
Avoid this company!!
Refund Code Impossible to Use
If you get what you want, great! Love to get clothes for cheap. If you don't, bad news, the "refund code" doesn't work. I theoretically got a code for store credit, but the directions for how to apply it to my account don't work. The email to reach customer service must be under-staffed or not staffed at all; I reached out a month ago - NO response. Very disappointed. Would have been happy to use the store credit, if I actually had access to it!

SWAP.COM Charges upfront for every boxes sent in which means that they pay you for your sold items after that the shipping costs have been recupped.
We had as of April 2023 over 1000 items left.
Lately the company struggled and made mistakes with payments to consignors. They didn't pay us for sold items in MARCH, APRIL, MAY 2023. We are now out of over 1000 pieces of clothing and we are now forced to sue this company. STAY AWAY

I think the Swap.com is now a FAKE site. When I logged in, all of my saved items disappeared. They had no info of past orders on my account, and I could not put in my password. The look of the site is different and it functions better, BUT today, May 19. 2023, Google sent a warning out that the notifications they have sent out are suspicious. I cannot find the original site. I donât know the term, but donât use the site until the business has figured out the issue. I donât know where to report. They wonât let me unsubscribe. Fortunately I didnât give them any of my financial info, which âmysteriously disappearedâ along with everything else except my email. BEWARE. They had no info of my past orders, nothing. I think the site is a fake
Request for return refused
I have ordered twice from swap.com and both times a disaster. 1st order I made in Feb. 2023 never received the order and never got a response from customer service but because I paid thru amazon pay I finally received a full refund this month. 2nd order (not sure why I tried again) but I ordered 3 pairs of jeans 2 shirts first week of march, this past week I received 2 shirts 1 pair of jeans, so 2 jeans not in order. Jeans I did get do not fit they were not as described I requested a refund and just got an email they refunded 2 missing pair because they didn't have to send but refused my return. so there big "no hassle" returns, they'll make it rite is non-sense. customer service DOES NOT EXSIST WITHIN THIS COMPANY!!! I have never gotten a response from an actual person its all automated so you can't ask questions or return any info per that email you have to start a whole new request thru there website. Its a nightmare for something that should be so simple. Since they rebranded themselves they are not the online resale shop they once were

The other two have not shipped and looks like they never will as the items say processing. My card has not been credited for the items I did not receive. I've emailed 5 times and have not received a response other than "rate your customer satisfaction". I've reported this company to the BBB
Nonexistent customer service
The website does not have a phone number to contact customer service AND the link to email them does not work. I've independently emailed them and have not heard back 4 weeks later. It is very disappointing that there is NO VIABLE way to get in touch with customer service. I would think twice before doing business with them going forward, until they fix their customer service issues.
Do not send your clothing in to sell with this company
When they changed to a new platform all my information/history disappeared. All my items listed for sale have disappeared. I managed to find one of my items and it had sold. I was never notified or given my % of the sale. Itâs like they stole money from me. Iâve tried to contact them by e-mail but no one ever responds. I even filed a complaint with the BBB.

I was pretty disappointed with this shipment. I do try to look at the photos and read the description as best as possible but this shipment did not meet my expectation. I ordered a plain white tee shirt. From the picture, it looked like a regular shirt but when it arrived it turned out to be a white SWIM shirt. I ordered a plain blue tee - what I got was a shirt that had ruffles on the front - which was supposed to be for a boy. Lastly, I ordered an orange shirt, nowhere in the description did it mention that it was faded because the picture depicted it to be bright orange. The rest of the items were fine. I just donated those because I didn't feel like to hassle with returns. I really am hesitant to order again.

It's been years since I've ordered from Swap and back then they were good. Now I feel like they scam people out of their hard earned money. It's nearly impossible to get anyone on the phone and when replying to emails, they send automated messages stating they have numerous tickets.
