Service
Recently I had a full service and warranty replacement carried out on my BMW iX, and although I rarely leave reviews, I felt compelled to share this experience.
From the outset, I was kept fully informed at every stage of the process by Reece, whose enthusiasm, professionalism, and genuine care were evident throughout. His attention to detail and commitment to ensuring everything was handled correctly gave me complete confidence and peace of mind.
The work was completed efficiently and to an exceptionally high standard, and the overall level of customer service exceeded my expectations. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is taken seriously, and that level of dedication makes all the difference.
A sincere thank you to Reece and the team for delivering such an outstanding experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone seeking first-class service.

My car was booked in for a fast lane…
My car was booked in for a fast lane service this morning at Oldbury at 10am, we arrived on time and booked into reception, but were left waiting for 30 minutes before we had to ask why we hadn’t been seen. There was no apologies for the wait and had been shown the person who we were to see, however just ignored us right in front of him and carried on regardless with another customer.
We were on a tight schedule, hence why we booked the fast lane service, but there was no urgency whatsoever from any staff to assist.
Very disappointed and will not be booking our service with this dealership and will be taking it further afield to where we purchased car from in Shrewsbury as they have a very good customer service.

Poor service received
Poor service received, really unprofessional for such a big business. In August of this year I put a deposit down of £250 on a used mini. My circumstances changed and I cancelled the order only three days later. When I made the payment I asked if the deposit was refundable but received no answer. I assumed wrongly that it was refundable. I subsequently found out it was non refundable. I complained on Trust Pilot and the Representative from the Head Office asked me to contact the Manager from Sytner Oldbury so the issue could be resolved. I have since emailed this Manager twice as instructed and have received no response at all. Dates of emails being 15/09 and 26/08.

Defective Mini Electric
I purchased my mini electric on business lease and collected it on 28th March and on the 18th June (less than 3 months) it developed a fault whereby it wouldn’t charge so pretty major and went back to Sytner for repair.
Still waiting for this defective car to be repaired which is nearly 4 weeks later with no apparent ETA on the part ordered.
I asked for the lease payments to be made for the time it’s been off the road but was told they couldn’t do that and asked me to call Mini UK. I objected and asked for the issue to be escalated to a director but obviously they are too busy as I haven’t received any further contact.
If you want good sales service whereby they do everything to get you to buy it’s the place to go BUT be warned you won’t get any support when things go wrong.
UPDATE
Following your reply, although I appreciate your reaching out and suggesting I contact your Duty Manager, I previously asked for a director to call me!

Defective delivery, lied to me
Car was delivered with a defective rear windscreen washer. I thought I could just get this unblocked myself and not bother the dealer, but it turns out it is not fixable and needs replaced. When I asked the dealer to sort this for me I was told the car would have failed the MOT if this was the case and therefore it was working on delivery. This was a lie as rear wipers and washers are not part of the MOT test. These guys had absolutely zero interest in helping me out but were begging for five star reviews on purchase. Once they have your money you are on your own. Gross.

Smooth process from start to finish
Smooth process from start to finish. James was a pleasure to deal with - very helpful, informative, & there was no pressure to buy. As I was buying the car without seeing it, the 'before and after' videos were reassuring and well done. Delivery of the MINI to my home was reasonably priced & efficient. A happy customer who wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this dealership.

Great Salesperson/Customer Care
I was invited to see the new Countryman mini and to have a test drive. I was looked after by Lee who could not have been more helpful. He was very pleasant and not at all ‘pushy.’ I would recommend others to use this branch of Sytner and cannot recommend Lee highly enough.

Having a sales background all my working life, I very much appreciated Lauren’s open question “ What do you particularly like about this car ?”
Unfortunately, through no fault of Lauren, I did not proceed with the purchase, but I have requested a link to submit this review, as I feel very comfortable in recommending Lauren’s professionalism and the back up provided by Sytner Oldbury.
