Thank you for sharing your feedback — we understand how frustrating that experience must have been.

In this case, the booking confirmation form and the process for adding card details were part of the venue’s own policy. That said, we’re not OK with how this experience felt on your side. At Tagvenue, we’re actively working to make the booking journey as frictionless as possible and reduce unnecessary steps.

We’ve already raised this case with the venue and are pushing them to review and simplify their process! We work closely with our partners to improve these flows, as too many emails, expired links, or unnecessary clicks are not the standard we have for users booking through our platform.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear about this experience. This is not the standard we aim for on the platform. We take responsiveness very seriously and are already working with our venue partners to improve their reply times, as delivering a top user experience is a key priority when you choose Tagvenue to find venues for your events.

If venues remain inactive or consistently fail to respond to enquiries, we do take immediate action — including reviewing their listing status and suspending them. We’re already looking into the cases you mentioned, so thank you again for taking the time to highlight this to us.

Thank you for raising your concerns — our partnership is important to us. We’ve already reached out to you directly by email, so please do check your inbox and reply there so we can clarify everything properly and agree on the best setup, answer all of your questions directly.

For context, the Google “Book Online” feature is part of Google’s standard functionality for supported booking platforms and is designed to improve visibility and user experience. When active, it helps reduce friction in the booking journey and directs users to a fully optimised Tagvenue profile with complete details, photos, and features to support faster decision-making.

That said, as soon as we received your request, we disabled the integration in line with the T&Cs. Please note it may take a little time for Google to process and reflect the update.

Hi there, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I'm truly sorry for the delays and confusion you encountered, we always want the booking process to feel clear, fast and supportive.

I've checked your inquiry and can confirm that your deposit has already been voided on our side. Depending on your bank, the hold can take a little longer to disappear, especially around holidays, but rest assured it is not being charged, and it will clear shortly.

We've also reviewed the venues involved to understand where the breakdown in communication happened. Some responses unfortunately arrived much later than expected, and we're taking the appropriate internal actions to prevent this from happening again.
