AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.
They operate under numerous names - Building Control Communications is who contacted us. Again produced an advert we did not agree with and then advised they would take this matter further. Today after no communication for 2 months "Northampton county court" rung me from a mobile number regarding this so called debt and advised enforcement officers were on route to my property to reclaim the debt and issue a ccj for the "advert" which was initially £600 however now was £2160 due. They tried to get me to pay via bacs on the phone to a solicitor...absolutely unbelievable. IGNORE THEM, DON'T GIVE THEM A PENNY AND REPORT TO ACTION FRAUD!

This company is not closed, it is trading as Building Control Communications. They will do no work, when you cancel they will aggressively pursue you for money. They will initiate court proceedings and hope to get a judgement by default against you. Then they’ll issue a high court writ and you’ll owe them thousands. Beware.

I’ll give it no stars, but I have to give a one star I’m reluctant to give that these are the biggest scammers I have ever come across in my lifeZinc communications

Advert department created an advert with wrong business info and really poor quality which was not revised even though we have sent correct business info. Service is just shocking!!! We have not given authoirsation to publish our business information and they have proceeded to do so anyway. Tried to cancel but refusing to accept cancellation. We have now received a letter threatening with CCJ. Stay away from this SCAM company!!!

This is one of the worst companies I have dealt with 42 years of business, originally thought it was scam and still do, no phone calls and spam emails, they're now threatening court over none payment, not sure what I'm buying or purchasing. These people are some of the worst people. Please stay clear it will be a nightmare

Exactly same experience currently dealing with constant phone calls from enforcement agencies I have a solicitor dealing with it but the stress this causes is horrible threatening to remove vehicles while I am out and agent calling me names down phone very unprofessional company currently seeking to have them in court for the 2 year of constant harassment had enough.

There now trying to have this review removed they target small companies and use a unprofessional collection agent with bully boy tactics I was blackmailed by the agent and forced into payment for a service which was not as it sold avoid this company they use a number of different names.

Had a letter demanding money £474 missold very unprofessional rang and resolve. just try to bully us into paying something which we never agreed to be very wary of dealing with these

I am sole trader my bill become £3100
After calling them before all advertising go published they say can't do that is all ready published
On that advertising even my phone number was wrong i tell them is not right number
Even that they say you didn't tell as the right number ,
I made one payment all ready but will refuse to do more payment
So now they say will send pre court letter

They tried to scam me and when I realised and said no they then try sending me a court letter! Nice try but this is definitely a scam

By reading all the other reviews my story is exactly the same, even though I emailed them to say we did not want the advert they have progressed and done it anyway now wanting to take us to court for non payment on a advert we never wanted

Zinc Communicate, TEN ALPS PUBLISHING, Labc....absolute scammers...after agreeing to one lot of "Advertising" i was peppered with phonecalls pushing for more advertisement from them...it was suppose to be a collaboration between labc and the local council to generate guides that would be sent to homeowners and generate loads of work...after seeing the first Ad and trying to find this so called ebook guide to renovating your home (which is a pretty difficult task) I noticed it was a load of BS...I paid anyway even though it looked like my 3 year old daughter had done it and published it...I then emailed 3 times to say I do not wish to be published in the other so called publication at least 5weeks before it was due to be published...they blatantly told me I can't do that as it's gone past 7days (bearing in mind to be in a binding contract with these guys they just need a quick text message :-D) even though I'd paid for the so called "artwork" to be done previously so they have lost no money...anyway they have now sent a letter of intent for court proceeding...horrible company, horrible people, scammers #seeyouincourt

Sadly I can not give lower then a 1 star rating. This company is a absolute Scam and should be avoided at all costs. They 1st contacted me under the guise of LABC PUBLISHING and looking at there Website and the information they gave seem to be worthwhile. However I have now discovered that the Website would seem to belong to a actual registered company which incidentally uses a VAT Registration under one organisation and a Company under another.
This is something the above do the invoice you as LABC PUBLISHING but list VAT and Company Registration numbers for different companies.
After the initial agreed publishing I was contacted to further times for different advertising which also seemed worthwhile. The agreement was a payment plan once the adverts were published. But yet the wanted to collect monies straight away of which I told them this would not happen. Very shortly after this I received several calls from people introducing themselves as the same organisation trying to sign me up for additional advertising which I was not willing to do. I was also getting calls saying the art work was with the Printers and they had to pay for it there and then for the publishing to processed. At this point I contacted by Phone and email after already telling them about the communications and said I wanted to cancel the publishing. They said I could not as was out of the 14 day cancellation and that 1 add had gone live which it had not at that time. They said I would have to pay for all advertising even though the others were not published. I refused and they still processed all adverts which were not only very poor quality for the wanted cost, but missing information and also not in the correct categories. I checked the links supplied on numerous occasions and more times then not they did not work. I have received numerous threats from them and they are in the process of taking me to court which I will fight. I have a load of evidence and also contacted other people which they have done similar to things to. Sadly most of these people have been silenced by agreeing to reduced amounts and told me so and that they can't go on record saying about them. I will not be silenced and advise anyone that had been conned by them to come forward and fight them with me and we will win. I am reporting them various institutions.

Small Business beware!

These people will fraudulently tell you they are advertising as part of LABC. as it says on their website home&build.com. THIS IS 100% FALSE. i have confirmed with the real LABC that they are nothing to do with them. Their partnership was dissolved years ago. They will sell advertising, but it is a scam, some terribly made 'e-book' that nobody will ever see as its buried in some poorly done website. Whilst you get charged £1500+ for a years 'advertising' They will harass you for payment constantly.
If they call HANG UP Do not even engage, Dont say a word, just end the call. They will say they're from 'BUILDING CONTROL COMMUNICATIONS' or 'TEN ALPS COMMUNICATIONS' or 'Z PUBLISHING' or more im sure!

They will try to say you agreed to a contract via phone calls etc. Inform your whole staff to ignore these callers, block emails and numbers from them!

Weeks later i've now received another spam call from a Paul at 'your media group' likely another version of them, trying to scam us once again. Either Ten alps publishing has sold our details to more scam artists or its a part of their wicked company.

DO NOT ENGAGE. they will shaft you for all your worth!

I was sold £500 of advertising, which did not produce a single enquiry (my mistake fair enough) . I was offered a second add in another publication free, which they later invoced me for another £540 . When i tried to sort it out via email and on the phone and refused too pay they thretend me with legal action. Im a sole trader i spend £4000 / year on adds and cannot aford too be ripped off in this way. Over £1000 and not one enquiry i wonder if anyone has even seen these aleged publications.
