£60 parking charge for “free parking”
A pleasant visit to Tenpin was unfortunately spoiled by a £60 parking charge afterwards. Parking is free for customers, but you need to enter your vehicle registration into a system at the venue.
Taking registration details during online booking, or having staff remind customers to use the registration screen on arrival, would help prevent a genuine customer’s visit ending with an unexpected charge.
I appreciate that parking needs to be managed, but trying to resolve the issue with the parking provider afterwards has been frustrating.
Tenpin should consider how its choice of parking partner affects its brand and the overall customer experience. Whatever value the arrangement delivers, it needs to be weighed against the goodwill lost when paying customers receive charges for parking that was supposed to be free.

Easy to book online, and the staff were helpful when we needed the buffers up and had an issue with the ball return machine.

27th Aug - poor experience
We went on Thursday 27th Aug, and wow, shocking.
A tall guy who is a "manager" has a rancid attitude, he is arrogant and so unprofessional. He didnt care to fix and problems, he pranced around like he was untouchable.
However, a guy called "kiefer" I believe was very calm under pressure, he know the ship was sinking, there were complaints coming from every direction, and he kept his cool and remembered to be polite and efficient to his customers.

Booking in was fine the line was ready…
Booking in was fine the line was ready for us that’s 3 kids and 2 adults we booked on line for 2 games and food after an hour and a half we still had not had our food I asked the manager of our food was coming he said about 10 mins . 45 mins later still no food I asked the manager again he said that they were bissy and our food would be with us soon 20 mins later we got our food. This is not except able poor service and manager not helpful will be paying the extra next time and go some were else.

Great morning out
Staff are well presented, polite, food cleared promptly, easy to book came with Daughter and Granddaughters, so ages varied from 67 down to 8. We had a great time Nannie won yeah lol. Few goes in the Arcade which again clean presentable, staff keeping it tidy. Toilets were spotless which is great. We love coming just great day out with family, The Burger & Chips meal included was an added bonus although I am always bit sceptical, but I have to say the cheese burger was lovely even the Granddaughters thought so well 2 the youngest 2 don't do meat. But all in all Brilliant time Thankyou see you soon

On arrival I was informed my booked lane wouldn't be available for a further 20mins however having explained that that we were short of time we were able to go another lane.

Easy to book online
Easy to book online. We opted for one hour bowling plus pizza. There were four of us, two adults and two children. We completed two games plus part way to a third, good value at £40.
