While placing my latest order l missed


While placing my latest order l missed applying the 5% discount code because the advert said " it's a site wide" deal. I assumed it would be automatic, but alas no!
Considering how much I have purchased over time I was a little disappointed not to see a more positive response to my message. Regards Bob Harman

Complete lack of follow up

I have attempted to use your company twice, each time leaving details of my requirements which were straightforward. In both cases there has been no follow up whatsoever. Latest was price and delivery date for a pair of the forthcoming model of the LNER 6w parcels van, weathered and mint. So I moved my business to Rails.

Made the mistake of collecting three


Made the mistake of collecting three ordered items at the shop in Beckhole. With my wife waiting in the car outside it took 52 minutes precisely to get the items despite there being only one customer in front of me. No acknowledgement that I had been waiting ages. The customer service chap eventually mumbled something at the computer and then disappeared for ages and then came back with a wrong item. No eye contact or explanation what the problem was. Appalling customer service. Check your CCTV if you don't believe me.

Came in to get a few different bits
Including Gaugemaster point motors.
I asked the sales assistant about wiring them up as I had tried and failed.
He got me a diagram of the correct way
And was very clued up about them.
Very happy with the service

I was lucky to spot a short-term offer


I was lucky to spot a short-term offer for a new Hornby Saint Class. It came really quickly and runs nicely. Yes, an oversight in the design of the fall-plate at the back of the cab means it has to be raised a bit to traverse curves. However, my example has not shown any signs of a sticking tender draw bar when going around 3rd radius curves while pulling 6 mark 1 coaches.

Re delivery service
First of all the Models get delivered to my works address which gives me a 3 day window ie Tues-Thurs.
I usually request that the models are despatched on a Monday and TMC always follow my instructions .
They always respond to an E mail
