Myself and my partner just bought our first house and have been interested in solar due to the cost of energy bills rising at the moment, I called for a quotation and a survey the team were very helpful and I was very impressed with the turn around, I had a surveyor come out go my property the next day and have been given a quote for my property already and have a potential install date!

all work completed quickly and efficiently no problems so far (only 24 hours) all the work carried out by TGP on my property seems better than previously done by other (disappeared) companies.

Already had solar panels, TGP fitted a lux power tek and us 3,000 battery very happy with the installation the two lads that came were on time and did a very tidy job, very polite and friendly this is why we gave 5 stars. They were also very helpful over the phone.

I had hoped I was dealing with a reliable company.
Two additional batteries were installed along with a Lux Power charger on 7 Dec. I also signed up for a 7-year Heat Pump service plan. Having emailed twice about a battery being in the alarm state, there have been no replies. I had been told the heat pump would be serviced in the afternoon of 16 Dec & I would be given a time in the morning. When I rang this afternoon to find out what time to expect someone I was advised there was no booking & nothing is bookable now until 3 Jan!! Will Customer Services get back to me this afternoon about the fault that has now developed with the heat pump?

The team arrived on time, having driven up from Kent. A decision was made on where to install it, and the work was completed in record time. The young lady then took me through how the app worked on my phone, the work space was cleared of any mess and they left to go to the next job. Well Done .

Turned up on time. We’re polite and professional. Completed the job and took all the rubbish away.

Paid deposit and batteries installed within a week. Very happy with this firm

AVOID!!!! This disgusting company tried to coerce my 80 year old dad to send them MORE money for a problem THEY CAUSED! After hearing their manipulative tactics over the phone, my brother and I checked his bank statements and he has sent them over 10k over the years! For solar panels!!!! Cruel, greedy scumbags who manipulate the vulnerable during a cost of living crisis! PLEASE AVOID!

Taking advantage of the elderly.

I overheard TGP on the phone with my father. They were aggressive and tried to coerce him into spending more money fixing a problem they had caused.

They recently fixed a battery that was too strong causing the whole system to short-circuit. Then they had the cheek to ask for more money to fix it. Thankfully I was around to see the tricks they were up to but I fear the other elderly people they prey on do not have that opportunity.

Awful firm, nothing more than a scam. Avoid at all costs.

Had problems with the Wi-Fi connection but the girls were so happy tell me all sorted out thank you

Correction to previous update....
After the install was completed and paid for, I received a " confirmed order from TGP stating that I was having a 3.68 kwh installed + all of the other equipment installed, so I contacted TGP and they stated that it was a mistake and I should have had a 6 kwh installed, but a 6kwh was actually installed, but with undersized AC connections which could cause a fire at maximum output. SO firstly I called in an INVERTER EXPERT who told me that the inverter supplied was an RSM 6000 6KWH inverterand that the AC connections were 50% undersized and should have been 50% larger and be sheathed to be fully compliant.
So I then contacted MCS and they recommended a company to be able to resolve the issues.
So I contacted Tarven Electical, who sent out an inspection team to check the install.
They stated that the panels installed by the team run by TOMMY was really well done and could find no faults.
But the AC side of the install, they considerer to be suspect to say the least
They have now completed the work to correct the AC side of the system + properly labelled everything + provided a G99 and sent for full documentation
FULL STOP.............

Very happy with our solar panel installation. All is working well. The team were very professional and tidy. They also helped with the app set-up which was particular helpful.

We had solar panels and batteries fitted. The sales team were good with the advise they gave to meet our needs. The installers were on time and completed installing the whole system in a day, which appears to be working correctly. The installers were very young and and untidy in their work, not inspiring confidence. The mesh guard was not supplied initially but has since been fitted and we are still waiting on instruction in the use of the app.

They came as arranged three weeks ago on the day agreed one hour ahead of the time agreed. Tried two other firms who were weeks overdue. TGP Very professional. Very tidy took all packaging. Installed one Lux, 2 batteries in space available. Follow up good too. 5stars.

Hi I already have 2 batteries 4.8kw but decided to have 2 more making 11.8kw the installation went well drew the engineer did it in no time we will get the most from them in summer they were fitted the next day after signing so thanks to drew everything working OK 👍

Having met so many sales people from multiple companies TGP actually listened to my requirements. They quoted a good price (not the cheapest). Within two weeks TGP were installing my solar kit. It took 2 days to complete and like everything there were a few obstacles. However, everything was sorted in the first week. Since then I have been getting solar power with no problems whatsoever. I found the team to be extremely easy to deal with and the installers worked non stop when they were here. They were polite and I was very happy.

I hade new Batteries and the inverter to go with them installed last week.
I found that I was Using more of my electric late into the night, so my electric bill for this month should be less than the £258 i have been paying so far.
I signed the agrement on the Tuesday and the instalation was on the day after.

My elderly father has paid £7000 for a hybrid invertor with batteries in February. In his purchase contract list included WiFi connection (dongle) and this wasn't supplied. Initially the system worked, 2 months later the batteries stopped working. After many phone calls explaining the problem they sent "engineers" to troubleshoot. The first time, the engineer quoted "your inverter doesn't have a dongle and we are unable to trouble shoot online" . He said we need to order one. After waiting another month and having numerous phone calls, eventually they said another engineer was coming with said dongle to install and then trouble shoot again. Unfortunately it was a Friday afternoon and their contact at the inverter support team was on annual leave. The dongle wouldn't connect to our WiFi so he called the support line for battery manufacturer. He gave them instructions for troubleshooting. Unfortunately the site engineer didn't have the tools or equipment complete the tasks at hand eg multimeter. Don't worry, we lent him ours. He then did not have the spare parts to make an replacement cable. These all seem like fairly basic requirements for an installation engineer. Being 4pm on a Friday, he hastily made his retreat. This was actually dealt with by my Dad's son who has the similar system which he installed himself, hence has a good understanding of what should have happened. Sadly our Dad hasn't been well and we feel that this company has £7000 of his money that they don't deserve as they have been unable to install a system that works or they can fix. Appalling service and I feel that this should be taken to the trading standard. They are members of multiple groups vouching for their credibility and trustworthyness. Sadly these mean nothing. Do not buy from them.
