Looks like this has occurred quite a bit to others, but I bought a MBA and IPAD PRO and a couple days later the orders were cancelled without notification. Charges are still present on my credit card. Apparently TigerDirect is in the business of false advertising, order cancelling, and keeping of funds. Will most def report them to BBB since this is essentially fraud.

Cancelled my order with no response or email. My money is being held hostage and customer service is non responsive. This company is a total SCAM. I will be reporting to Better Business Bureau, Federal Trade Commission, and Attorney General’s office. If I could have given minus 100 stars, I would have. This company deserves to go bankrupt for their horrendous business practices.

Echoing what everyone else is saying here. Tried to buy an ipad pro, got sent an email saying its on its way but when i logged in it shows it was cancelled. Customer service is not answering. I'm just going straight to my credit card and doing a charge back. Will never do business with this company again, and hope you read this before buying from them.

One star too many. Ordered product 4 days ago and no follow-up on my order. Logged in today to check and my orders were all deleted. No emails, no warnings, no apologies, and they have not refunded my credit card. Time for class action lawsuit people. At the very least call Apple Corporate 408-996-1010 and log a formal compliant. They should not be allowed to sell their products.

I also was scammed by the Fake Apple Sale! I used to think Tiger Direct was a legit site, I’ve ordered many things in the past, but those days seem over. It is a shame that a company would lower themselves to such scammy ways.

iPad Air M1 was ordered for a family member. I heard from a friend that his was canceled, so I checked my order as well. Canceled. TigerDirect used to be a reliable company, but it appears now they are just thrown in the trash heap with all of the other scummy online retailers. They can't even be bothered to send an email saying your order is canceled. Guessing you never had the product to begin with?

Ordered 2 iPads and the order got cancelled after 2 days without any information. They just have cancelled the order and it disappeared from the orders history. They did not refund my card, they are still with my money.

The order just vanished from their website.

Absolute scam, false sales, no notification orders is cancelled, apparently to show cash flow by holding your money. Despicable practice. No mistake, came here to see all reviews like mine !

They do false advertising. They show items on sale, you place the order, they hold your funds, then cancel the items. It has happened to thousands of people and it happened twice to me recently.

Canceled order without notification, now I’m getting tons of spam and my cc number has been compromised. Stay away. I tried calling to close my account but no one answers, and there’s no way to close account online.

I was one of the many people scammed in their false Apple pricing. Mistakes aren't a huge issue if you own up to them, which they did not. They instead shut down any means of contacting their support. I tried calling, their chat feature, and emailing. They cancelled my order without notifying me, haven't refunded my money, and haven't publicly stated that they made an error.

I purchased an iPad Pro 12.9” M2 edition on 2/4/2023. Found out that my order got canceled after I click on the button of checking order status from the confirmation email. Tried to call customer service and the lady/rep was extremely unprofessional and rude. What pissed me off is that I did not get an email about the cancellation and the customer service was such BS trying to blame everything on price discrepancy. I do not recommend buying stuffs from them, and I prob won’t ever come close to this company again. I believed many customers just experienced what I ran into this past weekend.

Scam website, unreliable website, Scam price. Never shop on it again.

Fake promotion on IPAD 10th. Paypal charged right away and the order was cancelled.

I can't believe how unreliable tigerdirect.com has become. I remember early in the 2000s they were a go to company for pc parts and now they just don't honor their sales. Ordered an iPad Pro M2 and they now said there was a price discrepancy and will cancel the order. No wonder their not a reliable and trusted company anymore.

Fake sales and promotions to fix their cashflow issues by holding payments on customer orders for days or weeks before canceling them
