I had a selection pack bought for me for my birthday....oh wow I'm a big fan. Who cares if you're chocolonely if you're curled up with Tony's.

I absolutely love Tony's and cannot understand how anyone can give it anything except a straight 5* for taste, texture, quality of ingredients, company ethos and yes, even value (considering what a terrific product it is). Their classic milk chocolate is to die for and reminds me of when milk chocolate tasted like a real treat instead of a compromise. The salted caramel is my wife's fave and though I love this too, it's milk for me every time. Yes yes, if you crave super high cocoa dark chocolate then this is no Lindt, but Tony's satisfies a different craving. This is a pure, delicious sweet treat. Just try it, you'll never ever go back to Cadburys or Galaxy which are both vile in comparison.

My only complaint is that I can't have Tony's milk chocolate more frequently, else I'll end up the size of a whale 🤣

Please please Tony's guys, don't be disheartened by the moaning Minnie's on here. You're brilliant and your products are amazing!!

Over priced cooking chocolate in colourful modern packaging.

Received a block of this chocolate today through the post. Me and my wife tried it, loved the quality and flavours. We appreciate it and will buy more of it.

If I could give you zero I would. Your customer service is awful. No replies to e-mails, zero response to questions asked. Order placed for Father's Day, before your delivery pause. The order has only now been dispatched. I was notified by a generic e-mail. This weekend at a function, I had no chocolate for the dads attending. I had to spend even more money to have something to present. Delivery paused because of the hot weather, but this week it's even hotter. The whole thing makes no sense. (And I now don't believe that was the issue at all) This is the first and last time I'll be using this company, and I think our charity should be refunded. Order number UKWPO-190129. Order placed for fathers day on 16.06.26 Fathers day was on the 21st, it is now the 23.06.26 and still no order

This is seriously disgusting chocolate. I received this as a gift. Will definitely never buy it. Advertised as creamy milk chocolate. Think they forgot the milk! I found it extremely bitter.

Wow, this is how chocolate used to taste (take a note Cadbury’s!). 1st time trying and honestly, the taste is how other brands used to be, ‘back in the day’ (before ‘Americanisation’/ addition of palm oil/ reduction of cocoa!!!). Highly recommend every chocolate lover to try this chocolate bar!!!

Chocolonely just got Chocolittle; a serious case of shrinkation. What a con! I am very shocked to see how the company has decided to severely reduce the size of their chocolate bar. I won’t be buying the product again.

I quite liked your chocolate but the link to Amazon is a bad move in my opinion. They’ve now made it practically impossible to buy a bar of plain milk chocolate without making an order for shopping from Morrisons, Iceland, and Amazon fresh ! Who wants to spend £25-£40 to buy a bar of chocolate ? I was buying 4 bars per week for myself and my brother I’ll now be buying none. As for ethical how ethical is Amazon ? Not at all. If you think a man namely Amazon owner Jeff Bezos is ethical youve lost the plot the man’s so bored and rich he’s now making rockets. Couldn't he save the children of Gaza instead ??? Oh I think not.

I think Tony’s chocolate is great, it is ethically sourced ingredients and it tastes great! I am happy to pay more if people get a fair wage. Thanks Tony’s for making amazing chocolate 😄

Reine Abzocke war diese Cashback Aktion. Hätte ich vorher gewusst dass ich 2 Monate lang vergeblich Versuche mir mein Geld wieder zu holen, hätte ich diese Schokolade auch niemals gekauft. Dem Support hab ich diesbezüglich geschrieben, was will man mir sagen außer, dass ich ja noch genug Zeit habe um es wieder und wieder und wieder zu versuchen. Lächerlich. So macht man sich halt keine Kunden.

Okay... here's my overall view of, not just the chocolate (I tried my first large bar of Chocolonely this week) but of the full Tony's experience and that which i have witnessed.

First, the product. The mouthfeel is great - I have read people saying it's gritty, powdery, unpleasant... I don't find this AT ALL... it's not as silky as say Galaxy which would get a 5/5 from me, and doesn't have the recognisable taste like Cadbury's does, which gets a 4/5... it's a solid 3/5 for the taste, and definitely better than supermarket own brands... The quirky segments make it an interesting experience, and I like this a lot. I LOVE the chunkiness - reminds me of Yorkie bars when I was a kid. You really feel you're EATING it lol.
What took this from a 3 to a 4 for me is their ethical standpoint (not going to state it all here, buy a bar and read about it in the packaging - or look at their website) alongside the customer service - I have read utterly scathing reviews, all met with a gentle response, even offering freebies to try to sway a decision... Just superb. That would be enough to pull it up to a 5 for me, but for the price. It's definitely too expensive - I only considered trying it because my local supermarket was offering it discounted.

Glad I tried it, not sure i'll be a regular (even if i could afford to).

My new favourite chocolate. I’ve finally ditched cadburys after realising it’ll never be the same after selling out to Kraft, I tried Tony’s as I liked the company ethos. I’m a milk chocolate gal so can’t comment on the dark chocolate but I absolutely love all the varieties of the milk chocolate on offer. Yes it’s pricier than all the other tosh that’s offered but I feel like it tastes how chocolate used to taste. So well done Tony’s, I’m sold and so is my family. Also love the packaging, I feel like Charlie bucket when I’m unwrapping it haha. Keep it old skool.

Wie kann ich meine Enttäuschung über diese Aktion in Worte fassen? Ich habe 3 der großen Tafeln von Ihrer Schokolade gekauft und mich gefreut, dass man an einer gratis-testen-Aktion teilnehmen kann. Und seit Wochen versuche ich mein Glück und muss leider immer wieder feststellen, dass keine Einlösungen möglich sind. Und selbst wenn es noch 3 oder 1 Einlösung gibt, wird spätestens nach Eingabe der eigenen Daten und hochladen des Kassenbons angezeigt, dass ein Fehler aufgetreten ist. Selbst die Kontaktaufnahme mit dem Unternehmen, welches für diese Aktion verantwortlich ist, verlief im Sande. Erst wird man kurz vertröstet und dann interessiert es niemanden. Kein Lösungsvorschlag o.ä. Ob die Schokolade fair hergestellt wird oder nicht, ich kaufe sie nicht mehr, wenn man den Konsumenten/Kunden so verarscht. Sowas macht man einfach nicht.

Wie andere hier auch geschrieben haben, ist die gratis testen Aktion irreführend, da es mehr einem Glücksspiel ähnelt, als einer tatsächlichen Option sein Geld zurück zu bekommen. Die Schuld dann auf einen anderen Anbieter zu schieben und zu sagen, dass die Aktion besser läuft als erwartet, finde ich fast noch schlimmer. Dann erhöht das Kontingent oder überlegt euch was anderes. Ich werde es an die Verbraucherzentrale weitergeben, das ist einfach inakzeptabel.

prefer Menier Swiss cooking chocolate to this . It is made with pure cocoa butter . Also the shape of the bar makes it so hard to break and share .

Ich habe mich über die "Gratis Testen"-Aktion gefreut. Auf der Verpackung steht groß "Gratis testen" und "Diese Tafel geht auf uns", was die Erwartung weckt, dass man nach Kauf den Kaufpreis erstattet bekommt. So habe ich das auch schon bei anderen Produkten erlebt und fand solche Aktionen immer cool.

Stellt sich heraus, dass es nur ein sehr kleines wöchentliches Kontingent gibt und man montags möglichst um Punkt 9 Uhr auf der Webseite sein muss, um überhaupt eine Chance zu haben. Ich konnte die versprochene Rückerstattung bis jetzt nicht in Anspruch nehmen. Das Ganze ist eher ein Glücksspiel als eine echte Geld-zurück-Aktion.

Bei den vollmundigen Versprechen auf der Vorderseite der Packung grenzt die Aktion leider an bewusste Verbrauchertäuschung, meiner Meinung nach. Es macht mir die Marke nicht sympathischer, im Gegenteil. Auf Nachfrage beim Support kam eine automatisierte Standardmail, ohne auf meine Punkte einzugehen. Schade, denn die Schokolade und die vom Hersteller vertretenen Werte sind an sich gut.

Aber wenn so eine Aktion handwerklich so schlecht gemacht ist und man sich als Kunde veräppelt fühlt, kann sie (zurecht) auch nach hinten losgehen.

I’ve just eaten my first bar of chocolate from the Tony’s brand, dark chocolate almond sea salt, it tastes nothing like chocolate should taste. Very plastic tasting and will probably never be buying it again. Quite repulsive!

I decided to treat myself to the hazelnut crunch bar. I was very disappointed - particularly for such an expensive bar. My wife was also very unimpressed.
I can’t see me buying another one. I’ll stay with the dark fair trade chocolates from sources I already know and like.
