I'm renovating my bathroom and ordered tiles and edging from Topps Tiles. It was a large order that was supposed to be delivered on Monday, but it didn't arrive. The next day, I checked the website and saw the order still listed as in progress. Concerned, I called customer service and learned it had been delivered without a signature or photo. After reviewing the doorbell recording, I saw no evidence of a delivery, just a separate, unrelated one. During the call, I was told it was out of his hands, but he would contact the delivery service and get back to me in half an hour. Later, I was told they were investigating and that there was nothing more he could do.

Frustrated, I called the delivery service directly. They informed me that Topps Tiles had contacted them earlier that day and again after my inquiries. I felt I was getting better support from the delivery service than from Topps Tiles. The delivery company wasn't getting a response from the local depot. Now I have to wait another day (a total of three days) to find out where my order is and then for them to determine how they'll finally resolve it. I ordered from Topps Tiles based on Trustpilot recommendations, but I am starting to doubt it.

I bought the Aquabase wet room shower tray and tiles. Beautiful product, but unfortunately started leaking six months after installation. I contacted Topps Tiles for advice on how to rectify it but they were not interested at all. I am left with an expensive ornament and a wrecked ceiling.

It is very disappointing that Topps Tiles were not interested to even try to give me advice on what to do. I wasted time being passed from their telephone customer service line to their customer service email to the local store all for nothing.

It's not like I was asking for compensation or anything like that. I just wanted advice on how to stop the leak and stop it from happening again in the future. But no...nothing to do with them apparently!

Topps Tile Torquay - Served by Kiran - super helpful! I had my puppy with me and since the tiles are quite heavy, Kiran was very helpful in lifting the tiles and bringing them around the store so I could look for the best coordinating tile. He had lots of suggestions that I had missed - project hasn't started yet but I'll be back.

I went into Topps Tiles Ilford yesterday to order my bathroom tiles for the wall and floor and was served by Mandy. Her customer service was excellent and she really knows her stuff. She helped me by laying out a few tiles so that I could visualise what it would look like. I was very happy with her service and placed an order for £1180

An excellent service from Byron, i have just bought some tiles for a renovation of one of my places in France. So while passing through Folkestone last week I dropped in and enquired about more, finished up buying another £1000 worth. Good prices, good tiles but above all Byron is a star employee, nothing too much trouble.
In the past I was in charge of a lot of people, thousands, I would employ him!

Steven , the deputy manager at the Taunton branch, could not have been more helpful. Personal service and even a follow up call to check progress.

Awful customer service. I bought some tiles online and tried to return the excess after I had completed the work on my home. I returned the tiles to my local Maidstone store but the store would not provide me with a refund as I ordered online. However, when I contacted the online team they told me that the store should have provided the refund. I have complained but nobody has yet provided me with a refund. Shambolic.

Great customer service at Topps Tiles in Irvine. Gary helped me to select my tiles and then helped me carry them to my car.

What a wonderful experience it was at Topps Tiles in Lowestoft.
I walked in not knowing what I needed and Ben saw that it looked like I needed help and advice and that is what I got.
Extremely professional, knowledgeable but certainly not pushy.
He advised and then said but you need to choose as it is your choice.

What a let down we have used this store for years and in fact still have laminate bought from 10 years ago attesting to one the quality and two our care of it we bought lvt had it down in our old house for 7 months and was able to bring that with us as well and use it. So when we had the opportunity to buy a beautiful tile effect lvt we jumped at the chance. Only to be watching it bend, chip, warp and scratch over the last 3 months it was only laid in December 2025 we alerted customer services and was still waiting until the end of Feb before someone came to look at. Having found 3 small areas of where there was a cut to close to the edge they have seen fit to try and blame us for the poor quality of the product. They have seen fit to wrongly assume we have scratched a supposed non scratch floor by dragging heavy furniture across it which is untrue and we have rubber and/or black felt on the bottom of our furniture in any case but that’s not the point. The new lvt has lifted/turned up on corners in hardly used rooms and to top it off they have admitted it is as bad as we have said but to try and wriggle out of a replacement by using 3 Cuts slightly to close to the skirting board is a joke when a whole lounge, hallway, downstairs toilet, and kitchen is affected. Quite frankly having paid nearly a thousand pounds for this product and then to be smiled at then screwed over by the company is sad.. shows no loyalty to the returning customer when we have used them for products for years that we have never had a problem with.. I have asked for this to be rectified but been told not to hold out much hope about the company doing right by us. If this is the case I will never use this company again and will never recommend it again but hopefully I will be able to write a more favourable review soon

Spoke to a very polite and extremely helpful young man named Ben over the phone yesterday, at Aylesbury branch of Tops Tiles, I cannot express my appreciation for his helpfulness and expertise in his approach and knowledge. They did not have the tiles I needed, but he was able to locate them over their web of branches and sort out my order, sincerely, incredible service!!!!
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND TOPS TILES PROMOT BEN TO A MANAGEMENT position, to train staff in his expertise, helpfulness and knowledge!!!!!!

Extremely disappointed with Basingstoke Topps Tiles. I ordered 84 tiles in January (on a 20% promotion) for a March en-suite refurbishment and was never told they were discontinued or low in stock.

On 28 February, after hearing nothing, I called and was told the tiles were arriving Wednesday and that there were “plenty on the shop floor.” Two days later — while tradespeople were upstairs ripping out my bathroom — I received a call from the manager saying that “all the tiles were broken.” I was then told they were discontinued and that hardly any stock existed nationwide. This completely contradicted what I’d been told just days earlier.

The explanations kept changing and simply didn’t add up. I was told they’d all arrived broken, yet no clear details were given. I was told they were discounted because they were discontinued, yet that was never mentioned when I purchased them. The information felt misleading and dishonest.

This caused significant distress — I was left facing the possibility of having no tiles mid-refurbishment, with trades booked and costs mounting. The stress, disruption, and additional time spent sourcing alternatives was entirely avoidable.

Very poor communication, inconsistent explanations, and a complete lack of transparency. I would not recommend this store.

Visited Topps in Stockport today as I needed help deciding on tiles for my bathroom. Owen was incredibly patient and so helpful, with so much knowledge and care, nothing was too much and he went above and beyond to make sure we could get the tiles we finally decided on! Would recommend choosing topps tiles for an all round excellent customer experience. Thank you Owen!

I needed materials for my bathroom and my contractor recommended Topps Tiles Ashford. Three times I went for different things and all these times consistently, the team were friendly professional helpful over and above. They took the time to explain, to answer my many questions and were patient to allow me to see what I wanted. Chris, Charlotte, Evie what an absolute top team!!!

Lucy was incredibly helpful whilst we were sourcing our bathroom tiles. She offered fantastic knowledgeable insights into which tiles would be suitable for each area. We would highly recommend this store.

Delivery was not as agreed and delayed and not delivered to correct address. Customer Service did not acknowledge the problem and we ended up collecting items in store. Product satisfactory but delivery and Customer Service hopeless
