Never buy a Toshiba television!
Enough said

If there was 0 stars I would give it that. My tv worked fine for 2 years then randomly the screen broke. When I called toshiba and asked what the life expectancy of the tv is I was told it’s just ‘the luck of the draw’. I would strongly advise NOT buying Toshiba as it may not last you long!

Television went to black screen called Toshiba asking for help and they could do nothing other than tell me to find an independent repairs specialist but keep in mind that the tv is 17months old - asked to speak to someone like a manager etc to only be hung up on the Toshiba product is absolutely muck and I would avoid them at all costs ..... quick to take your money but not so quick to fix a problem with their product

The TV's picture whent faulty after 16 months and it's out of warranty

Bought a Toshiba Smart TV. Lasted 16 months before the black screen of death. Never had a TV break on me before. My Samsung is over 10 years old and still going strong.

They have a 12 month warranty which is disgraceful. A TV should last many years. Will never buy a Toshiba again!

Bought Toshiba smart tv to replace lg,had to buy an aerial booster and a Wi-Fi booster just to use this terrible tv,constantly have to unplug to reset tv to get Wi-Fi or tv guide,would never buy Toshiba again

1. Netflix is laggy,
2. Remote isnt responding when u press it, sometimes does what ever it wants,
3. Most of soft is way too slow
4. Few basic apps, lloks like toshiba started to make apps for smart tvs and creators quit the job.

I purchased two 16 TB SSD from this co. I have an IMac and had to format them for use as boot drives. Neither drive was usable. I looked up the error and tried every suggestion I could find. They are not even heavy enough to use as paper weights. If you are not suppose to format them, they should say that in the Ad.

Purchased 55inch TV from Tesco at a cost of £480 less than 18 months it breaks down! The two of us that used the TV only had it on a couple of hours a day so only had limited usage.i e-mailed Toshiba manufacturer and they didn't want to know they suggested I buy a new TV or price this one up to be mended as warranty had run out they said take it up with Tesco so I did!at first I was told to get InTouch with Toshiba I told him I had already after a couple of minutes the phone went dead so I used Tesco WhatsApp services they was brilliant I had to send proof of purchase and serial number and a small video of the TV switched on .it got escalated and I was offered half the price of the t.v which I accepted I was really happy that TV didn't get skipped without at least contacting Tesco

Worst TV I ever purchased and I am 60. Remote never worked, bought two new remotes and my two year old Toshiba I found out after purchase had this issue. Stay w Samsung!!

aFTER PURCHASING A 65 INCH UHD TV FROM THEM HAD A PROBLEM BUT WHEN TRIED TO SORT OUT THEY WERE NOT INTERESTED AND SAID THEY KNEW OF THE PROBLEM WITH CERTAIN MODELS BUT TOLD THE CUSTOMER THEY HAD TO WAIT AS SOFTWARE PROBLEM BUT COULD NOT SAY WHEN IT WOULD BE SORTED THEY JUST BLAMED THE SOFTWARE PROVIDER AND THEN BOTH AGENTS CUT ME OFF BEFORE I WAS ALLOWED TO COMPLAIN.

Very bad experience with Toshiba
Last was 50 Inc Smart TV from Argos UK.. screen problem after 16 months .. customer services useless .. Argos out of 1 year warranty. I will need to purchase a new one.
Previous same terrible experience with Toshiba laptop and external device caused me to lose a lot of data
Toshiba had a good reputation back in the 1980s , but has gone down hill ( in a major way ) .
I have black listed toshiba in my head forever

I purchased a CT-95022 about 12 months ago. Today I decided to move it for the first time to a new room and in that short distance the screen has managed to break. Steer clear of Toshiba products. It's apparent that their products are very flimsy and poorly made. Lesson learnt. Never again for Toshiba.

Purchased 32" Smart TV 32LK3C63DB Very difficult to set up. Easy start includes very few instructions, 2 screen pages for instruction menu and still failed to set up Text. Help sent me written instruction and said if this does not work (it didn't) try this but you may lose the red button feature and some apps. Why have a text button on the remote if it does not work?, If you want subtitles try tuning a Mulberry bush.
This company needs to test their product on an average customer before marketing. Remember no retailer gives installation guidance now. Had to pressure to get a refund.

Disaster of a TV
3 good reasons to avoid this TV:
1. sound of internal speakers was so muffled we had to check the back of the TV in case we had left some packaging tape on. An EQ (base treble) feature may have corrected this, but it was greyed out in the set up menus. Alexa got confused when we asked her/it to do it.
2. Was any feature supported or accessible - who knows: no user guide manual. What comes in the box is an install guide, that has a QR code to the on-line user manual. The QR code goes to a 404 on the toshiba site. Could not find the manual anywhere on the site - just found the brochure. searched the whole interweb for it - nil.
3. Worst of all we got black "blinks" on freeview HD channels. Each blink is about 1/5 of a second and happens a couple of times a minute.
Epic fail. Back to Argos

Paid £300 for a 50 inch TV. Could not download half the apps I wanted so then had to buy a Firestick, which was great. After 13 months (just after warranty expired) picture went very glitchy and stopped worked. The Tv had never been moved, knocked or damaged. Spoke to Toshiba, they did not want to know.

Toshiba Smart TV. Model Number 43uk4d63db. To be honest not a bad picture quality and sound is fairly good and lots of volume with shed loads of different settings, although I never need it on much more than volume 10 even though my hearing is rubbish, but what really let's this tv down is the Apps!!!! They are absolutely dire and not worth having, Apps that I have never seen or even heard of!! wish I could delete 99% of them but are preinstalled, a few mainly Euronews do not even work at all, the tv is suprising lightweight and only weights 7.5kg. It is my guess that even though this tv is branded as a Toshiba it is not a Toshiba at all and is made by a entirely different company!!!! Also never seems to get any updates, This may partly explain why various reviews are saying Toshiba no longer to the standard they once were,

Wish I had paid extra £100 and got a better brand , toshiba had a good reputation back in the 1980s , but has gone down hill ( in a major way ) . I bought 2 toshiba tvs.
One resulted in black screen within one year or so of purchase.
The replacement has now stopped showing anything other than a cctv channel.
I called toshiba helpline which resulted in that channel also being erased after following their 'help'?
Never buy Toshiba
I would demand a refund if I thought they were a reputable company

I bought a Toshiba TV in Dec last year. The new ITVX. App won’t allow me to watch live TV as it’s software is not compatible to Toshiba?? I also can’t download Talk TV app as it’s not compatible with Toshiba? Even though customer service ( and I use the term loosely) had never heard of it. How many more I wonder am I going to come across. Rubbish TV
