With 30 years of experience to draw on, I can modify poses if someone has a limitation and I skilfully sequence classes to help you get the most out of every single class. I teach people who have various injuries and illnesses including Parkinsonâs, cancer, slipped discs, scoliosis, torn ligaments, hip/knee replacements, etc as well as pre & post pregnancy, athletes, children, elderly and people just like you x Iyengar focuses on precise body alignment. Iyengar teachers have rigorous training over many years to ensure they are skilled at adjusting students in an anatomically correct way so that the student suffers no injury or pain. Yoga increases suppleness, strength and stamina, improves posture and concentration, and quietens the mind to promote well-being.
