Name a better off-road vehicle than Toyota!?
I am especially in love with the FJ Cruiser. It was bad news for me when I read that they stopped producing this model last year 🙁 I guess not many people appreciate a good retro design.
Anyway, this model has already become legendary, and I am sure after 10 or so years they will come back and make a redesign it is the case with some other models from other brands.
FJ Cruiser is truly a powerful off-road machine, aside from its appealing design.

I had to exchange cars with a relative so I took his Camry for a spin last week, and let me tell you, it has been a solid ride so far! i am not even thinking giving it back haha, I might seriously look into buying one in the foreseeable future.
fuel efficiency is allright, maybe slightly worse than lighter-engine cars but it is allright, because in turn you get the right performance out of it. Interior is quite roomy, the seats are pretty comfy so that makes it a very good choice for road trips, or you know, just a bit of cruisin or joy riding. And it is is very good for the daily rides and commutes, from home to work and from the office to the gym or whatnot. the touchscreen infotainment system has also been no problem for me, very quick to wrap your head around and navigate.
safety features are also quite high-tier, i think, as far as i can read about it in other reviews and sources. I know that it is not the nail-biter in the looks department if you are looking for that kind of a thing, but it is toyota, it is reliable, and it gets the job done as far as an automobile goes, you see? A reliable choice that won't let you down easily.

❌👎❌👎❌👎 This manufacturer has gotten worse and worse every single day.An absolutely pathetic company that STANDS BEHIND NOTHING, AND THEY LIE MORE THAN THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY DOES, THERE CAR'S A MADE CHEAPER AN CHEAPER EVERY DAY.A COMPLETELY CHEAP GARBAGE PRODUCT ,THAT GETS WORSE, EVERY DAY. Plus the Brandon engagement customer relation people are the RUDEST MOST IGNORANT AND EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL PEOPLE YOU COULD EVER TRY TOO WORK WITH ❌👎❌👎👎❌👎❌👎
Got a lemon. They wouldn't honor it.
My toyota corolla was a lemon from the start and toyota failed to honor the lemon contract.
The toyota dealership in my area often turned me a way as a young female client and also belittled me as a female client. I knew enough about cars and fixes to know the mechanic language but they really hate it when you talk the same language as them.
Refused to acknowledge ongoing reoccurring issues and fix it even if it was pretty darn obvious.
The worst part about toyota service is waiting 8+ hrs for an oil change even arriving 40 min before doors opening. Even if you had an appointment they refused to take your vehicle during the appointment time and honor it. Several times when service was complete they'd just voice mail my phone. Well I often have my phone muted in a waiting room for politeness and I often ended up waiting twice as long as I had to when they told me it was complete.
Toyota also refused to do government mandated recalls unless you purchased a service. Then they'd acknowledge it. This is a deceitful up selling tactic to mooch money out of client's pockets. They also refused to do government mandated recalls until the government sued toyota to do them. Face it toyota vehicles have cheap parts and don't last like they use to.
My toyota had many factory lemon issues and the company refused to fix them within the warranty contract. They waited until after it expired to honor it. More than once I had a major issue occur that was factory related. Then found out later the company recalled it. I tried to file for a compensation check but they belittled me and refused to acknowledge the refund. They kept making up half a--ed excuses that made me feel they were lying to me in honoring a rebate on the issue.
As a female client I often got turned away and refused service a lot. This forced me to find other places in my local area to use. I can't tell you how many times I went in for simple issues occurring and they refused to believe me as a client. I'd go to a reputable shop in my area and they'd diagnose it within an hr.
I wasn't sure if this was normal for the breaks but most breaks in standard vehicles start working when you tap down on the break. Not half way down on the break peddle. I got the feeling this wasn't normal. Yet they kept quoting to me it was. Only to find out upon investigation it wasn't normal.
The dealership in my area intentionally waited until the warranty expired on my purchase before telling me about select major issues going on. My vehicle got standard med mileage. Instead of honoring the warranty they denied it and told me (the client) that I would have to pay for all the lemon fixes. This was very dishonest. My father even went in and said we're no longer coming here for service.
Please do not buy a toyota unless you want a headache. This occurred around 2014 and yes toyota knows how I feel about my experience.
Watch out for the small detail from Toyota
Watch out for the small detail from Toyota, just in the middle and waiting for the outcome of a claim for a new 12 volt battery on my CH3(Design) leased from Evans Halshaw on 1st November 2020.
What I missed was in the three year warranty was after one year, your roadside assistance and breakdown cover expires, and despite a three year warranty on parts and labour, Toyota nor Evans Halshaw cover you for breakdown or roadside assistance.
If you look on Toyota website , the approved breakdown service is with the AA, and after a year in order to get back in working order, you have to join the AA , pay their joining fee of £35, then in my case , average good mechanic diagnosed a flat battery, replaced it, checked all on the car was wor,ING and departed...no problems.
However to get the £130 refund under the guarantee, Toyota insisted they check the old battery to ensure it was faulty. The AA policy in such cases, who are Toyota approved on their website, could not have the old battery as the AA are duty bound on their po.icy tongue the defective battery is returned to their depot, and disposed of safely.
This was not acceptable to Toyota, not even my local dealer could help, but has written to explain
my loss under guarantee, and that there appears to be a clear misunderstanding between the AA and Toyota.Meanwhile I am £130 down in my pension account.
Evans Halshaw were no help at all, and I will not use them again.
Such a pickle, and I am not holding my breath for reimbursement.
Just be careful not like me to read the small print, I always had a good impression of Toyota.

🍋 2020 Tacoma TRD
I purchased a 2020 Tacoma TRD Off Road 4x4. At around 3k miles, it started vibrating while braking from the rear, then the rear brakes started locking up. The local Dealer where I purchased it McCords Vancouver Toyota replaced the rear drums and sent me on my way with in another 1500 miles it started doing it again. This time it got new bearings, axles, drums, shoes, and all other related parts for both right and left sides. Again I was sent on my way. At around 5k miles it started vibration on braking again. The progression was vibration first then locking the brakes. This time I just applied the brakes and my truck locked up on the road and skidded to a stop this was at 6100 miles. So back to McCords again. They did the exact same repairs stating the parts were out of spec. The transmission fluid was not to spec causing irrational shifting, and my third brake light didn’t work. Now fast forward to 9k miles and the vibration is back, took it to the dealer twice more to be told I can purchase new drums if I wish. My truck is still under warranty??? I am confused. The rear drums on my 2001 Kia Rio lasted 120,000 miles. All three of my Toyota cars rear drums lasted over 100 thousand miles.
Toyota was called again Today we will see what happens.
Update: Toyota had their tech “look at” the brake assembly, not spec the assembly just inspected it to tell me it’s fine , and I can buy new drums if I wish.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND EITHER
TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION. or
McCords Vancouver Toyota.
6 shop visits and my Truck is still a safety hazard and embarrassing to drive.

I hate the fact the car always spends time at the mechanic. I need something better
Poor build quality
Been a Toyota customer for over 25y, but last 2 experiences with Toyota made me decide my next car will be a different brand.
First had the catalytic converter stolen from my 2018 Auris, and it took over 1 month for Toyota to get the parts to fix it! Toyota knew these models were targeted for this type of theft and could have advised customers to implement security measures, but decided say nothing...shame on you Toyota...
After the repair of my Auris, decided wanted to sleep without worrying of having my catalytic stolen again, so decided to buy a new 2021 C-HR...this was my biggest mistake as after a couple of months noticed a noise in the boot that after 3 visits to the dealer is still not fixed. If that wasn't enough, it started to develop cabin and dashboard noises and every day a new noise comes up and so far have 7 different noise sources...car spend 4 days at the dealer, but they couldn't identify the source of any of them...I've already identified the culprit for 3 of the noises, and I'm not a mechanic...
Very bad service and build quality from Toyota...might need to cut my losses and sell a 5 month old car and buy a different brand, which is more reliable and has better build quality than Toyota.

Absolutely worthless to buy toyota and poor customer service
I bought extended warranty and now they are absolutely denying to help me with the problem i have with the Toyota Camry I bought. Navigation system doesn’t work and they will tell you that- you have contact the 3rd party and we are unable to help. But toyota collected the money from me.
See what kind of Slick answers Toyota…
See what kind of Slick answers Toyota has for you once you discover an issue that they refuse to stand by. Try waiting on hold for a half hour before an Advisor picks up the phone. Better yet getting no human at the dealer I bought this garbage from. Stop hiding Toyota. I am damn angry and frustrated.
Stevenson Toyota West
Love my Tundra! However the dealership “Stevenson Toyota West” is the worst when it comes to servicing the vehicle. Unprofessional, lacking knowledge, communication skills, & flat out dismal customer service. I will be taking my vehicle to Firestone.
Excellent Compnay
Great experience👍🏻👍🏻
Sales rep was good
Sales rep was good. But repairs staff were so slow and too arrogant.
My dream car wish has been fulfilled
After having my dream car's wish fulfilled with Toyota Camri, I am very happy that now I own it. Very comfortable, less maintenance, fuel efficient. I just loved it.
