I had a great and easy experience…

I had a great and easy experience buying my trailer (7x16 enclosed). I used it to move across the country with no problems. However, while in storage another driver hit my trailer and damaged the back door sheet.
The closest Trailersplus location is in another state. Trailersplus only allows their shops to work on the trailer and will not send the part I need to get the trailer repaired.
The locations I have been trying to work with have tried to be as helpful as possible, but the coorporate office or wherever they manufacture the trailers has ridiculous restrictions and are leaving me no help getting my trailer fixed.
Many hours wasted trying to get this fixed and no help or reasonable solutions to work with someone who bought a trailer less than 4 months ago.

I had great need to find a good 16'…

I had great need to find a good 16' trailer, and about 6,000 cash. I was in Birmingham, and had to leave by 1pm Tues 6/28 for S. GA. Apparently very hard to find one without side rails, and the longer it takes me to find one the more money I will lose. TrailersPlus automated system spent days until finally telling me it was closed on Monday. No clear way how to schedule an 'Appointment.' Basic 16' for 4k, not clear whether it has strap attachments or not. Noone to answer any questions. Obviously automated, virtual non-customer service just cost them a customer. Basic problem of these large franchise BS operations, CLEARLY if you want great product with ANY AT ALL accessories or special considerations, you have to use word of mouth and find smaller outfits. Too many small businesses have been put out of business by these cheap near-scam type operations. I have no tolerance for these embeciles who think that customers need them - no, in fact, you are a business providing a product, you really really need customers, and hopefully with your inflated prices for basic level products with no extras, you can continue to con enough 'Customers' into thinking they need you to stay afloat. Doubtful.

Very poor customer service

I was pulling my new cargo trailer and was the victim of a hit and run. Left left rear corner of my trailer was damaged. I took it over to the shop and left it so they could inspect it and get me an estimate for the repair. After I left it a couple weeks I got an estimate on 4-26-22. I told them, let's go ahead and get it fixed. I am still waiting. Its funny, it says the estimate is only good until 4-29-22.

Sito pessimo

I purchase a trailer from the Bryant

I purchase a trailer from the Bryant, AR store. When I picked up the trailer not all the lights worked. They blamed the problem on my truck. So I took the trailer home and had my local mechanic take a look at it. He found that the trailer wiring harness was not correctly hooked up and the trailer breaks where not even connected. He wisely recommended I return it to the dealer. He did temp connect the break lights and turn signals so I could return it safely.

I did call the Manufacture and they requested I take it to the Conway, AR store for service work. This is day two of owning this Lemon. So I called the Conway store and got the new Manager. He proceeded to chew may ass for having my local mechanic temp wire my trailer so I could bring it safely back to them.

So I returned the trailer for service work. It took the 2 more days to attempt to fix the problem. I returned to picked up the trailer and he had me get in my truck so he could check the lights were fixed. According to him after we tested the normal functions, all was good.

I returned home and did not use the trailer for several months. The next time I connected to the trailer the running lights on the trailer started blowing fuses.
So now I could not use the trailer for night time travel.

I spent the following two Saturdays trouble shooting what was causing the direct short. We finally found it yesterday 5/28/22. The direct short was a pinched green wire at the right rear taillight that was pinched between the plywood and trailer tub steel frame. This was obliviously a factory install issue.

My experience was a marathon of problems I was made to believe were me. I will NEVER BUY a trailer from Trailerminus ever again. I bet they will never respond to this feedback either. To prove that here's my number 501.454.9833

The Carry On trailers we sell at our stores come with a 1-year limited warranty from the manufacturer, and we will always work on our customers' behalf to ensure that any manufacturing defects are resolved within the warranty period. It appears that the last time we inspected the lights on your trailer, everything was working as expected. Leaking roof

I drove from Washington to Las Vegas to buy a inclosed 20' car carrier which i placed a hold on. After showing me the trailer and a few other similar I decided to buy the more expensive one because it was shown to have a 1 piece roof that said "OUR TRAILERS DON'T LEAK-PERIOD" Turns out it is neither 1 piece, (1st rain) nor doesn't leak.
It took 3 weeks to repair the roof, where a lot of what I was told in Vegas turned out not to be true.

Purchase price online advertised not the whole truth.

Purchase price online advertised. 5 x 8 enclosed trailer due $3619 but need to add tax and a $100 Document Fee. This is according to a person I spoke with on the phone.
I went online to pay for the trailer.
The out-of-the-door REAL PRICE. Total Due
$ 4664.42. Sticker Markup you think. Let's do the math together. $3619 plus $100 plus Tax 1.0685 * 3619*=. $3966.90. This is car dealership MATH.

I put a deposit down on a trailer to reserve it. At the phoenix arizona office on indian school rd. I had questions about the trailer, so i "chatted" with them which was totally useless for getting any information, with their chat you type your question and it says someone will get back to you in a day or two. So i wasnt satisfied with the chat and decided to call them...LOL bigger joke than the chat. Got an "operator" who just answers the phone and cant answer any questions. the operator says let me put you on hold and i will try to connect you with someone who can be of assistance. HAHAHA yeah right, they can never connect you with someone and come back to tell you they will leave a message for that person to call you "and they should get back to you within a day or two". This happened again and again over several days. Nathan, yeah he's a total waste of time talking to when he finally calls you back in 2 or 3 days, then he says he cant answer your question and he'll have to talk to someone and call you back. yeah, good luck with Nathan calling you back! I told several "operators" that i was getting tired of not being able to speak to someone that could help me when i called. Today i told one that "maybe i should look elsewhere to buy a trailer". You would think that after saying that, the "operator" would get someone to call me right away so as not to lose a customer. Nope. So, I went to Rockland Trailers to look for a trailer. Awesome service over the phone, and i went in and put a deposit down on a Rockland Trailer minutes after speaking to them over the phone. I highly recommend anyone looking to buy a trailer go to Rockland Trailers. A joy to deal with and their trailers are cheaper price than trailersplus. All Rockland trailers are built onsite, its a family business and they treat you like they care and want your business! Please consider Rockland trailers, you will not be disappointed like at trailersplus!

We understand that you were not able to pick up a trailer immediately and that you were wanting to place a deposit to hold the trailer for a couple of weeks. As you know, we do offer all customers the opportunity to reserve a trailer for up to 7 days with a $50 refundable deposit. We understand that this option was not ideal, due to your specific set of circumstances. Because demand for trailers is currently very high at our Phoenix location, we were not able to offer an extended reservation at this time. We apologize that it was difficult to reach the store by phone. Our staff is very busy with customers and service work at the store, so it can be challenging for them to get to the phone. We hope to have another opportunity to earn your business in the future.

We have employees standing by to take your calls at our stores and call center from 7am - 7pm MST, Monday through Saturday, and our wait times have generally been minimal over the past 90 days. When we do get busy, we offer customers the opportunity to leave a voicemail every 2 minutes, or continue to wait for a representative. We respond to voicemails right away, when we receive them. Excellent purchase experience

We purchased a 5X10 Dump Bed trailer after looking at many others over the last 2 months. The quality of this trailer is good, and the staff support especially from Casey Nanez was superb. I feel confident that we made the right choice for our needs and that Casey and his staff will be there to support us in future needs. Thanks Casey!

Don't drink the cool aid!

My trailer is just about 2 years old. The only time we have used it is for our annual trip to CO for a week in the mountains. The rest of the time it is garaged. Last week, Thursday June 10th, we left for CO. In Reno, NV we stopped for gas and I found out my bearings in one hub were completely gone/destroyed and wheel was wobbling. Trailersplus is appt only and when I called they said they were booked for the next few days but would have a guy call me. No suggestions or directions on how I could get it to them or what service they could offer. They wree too busy to talk to me. Again, on vacation with the family and only 3 hours into a 19 hour drive to my brother's house in CO. In the meantime I took it to a Les Schwab that was closer to me by 12 miles and actually talked to me. I could not have safely gone much further and was lucky to make it that far. They were kind enough to fit me in considering our travel situation. I dropped the trailer and drove to Trailersplus where I purchased the hub assembly, charged me $80 and didn't even offer to assist with any warranty issue there might have been. Les Schwab was amazing and installed the hub, checked and repacked the other hub and charged me only $60!!! They are amazing. Fast forward now to Saturday night, June 19th. We pull in to my brother's place after our family camping trip to the CO mountains. Now my other hub is blown, grease all over the tires and no telling what the hub is like. Les Schwab is closed and so is Trailersplus. No info at all on their website about what axle I have nor any way to look it up. I am dead in the water and they are closed Sun and Mon of course. We had to be back in CA Tues night and to work on Wed. I ended up having to pull the old axle, take it to a Tractor Supply store near my brother and buy a replacement axle and hubs. $230 and a long drive later, I'm home and had zero issues with the replacement. I called my location today to set up a time to come in and see what can be done to reimburse me, etc as the hubs were still under warranty. I was told that because I had it all done first, without taking all the problem parts to the store, that they can't honor the warranty or reimburse us!!! For that to have happened, I would have had to take the hub off in Reno, take it to the store, have them do the investigation to see if it was warranty. That would have taken a few days I was told. So Reno, NV for a few days while I wait for them to pay for an 80.00 part!!!! Asinine to say the least. The same would have had to happen on that Saturday when the other hub blew up. I would have had to stay in CO until Tuesday and then wait the few days for them to figure it out or tell me it wasn't covered......and THEN get it repaired. Not to mention they couldn't come to me or have it towed, etc. That's all on us, even if the hubs were faulty. Never had a warranty like that, where it all has to be verified and you leave a family stranded on vacation rather than look at it afterwords. I have the axle, the second blown hub, and pictures and receipts of it all. Didn't matter. Worst customer service and warranty plan ever. Even the plans they push on used cars are better than this!! Lesson learned, first and only purchase from them I'll ever make. Dexter axles and hubs, made in USA, blah, blah, but still last as long as the crap made in China. We fell for the schpeel though. Live and learn.

Bought a ATV trailer and what a nightmare. Only one customer at a time. Appointment required because of short of staff. Six people on site. Rushed through paperwork in order to get to lunch. I should have just walked out. I wish I had. Think twice about the Nampa, Idaho store.

Hi future owners of a cargo trailer, best review this first!

Hi future owners of a cargo trailer: I bought a new TrailersPlus Loadrunner for the price of over $10k. Fresh from the Conway, Arkansas factory (one of four factory locations), this trailer was delivered to the store & I was to pick it up there.

When I arrived, I started performing a general visual inspection of what I was buying. These are some of the items I found (below please) that were in my opinion FACTORY QUALITY ESCAPES, that could have easily been caught before the trailer left the factory. Instead I had to spend my time to inspect, document, photograph, and try to get them repaired before I departed the local store. So, my one hour pick-the-trailer-up process wound up to be at least four hours, and while the local store owner was very cooperative and tried to fix what he could, many of the FACTORY QUALITY ESCAPES were BAKED INTO THE BROWNIE (Trailer...) from the FACTORY, making it difficult to fix and resolve without lots of time and special process equipment. I actually offered to visit the factories and help TrailersPlus establish a better factory Quality System, but no response as I guess they are raking in the cash and maybe that’s all they actually want…?

I just want others to hold this organization accountable for the QUALITY of their trailers; no animosity or grudges from this end.

I have at least 36 pics of the FACTORY QUALITY ESCAPES, but I could post pics here for some reasons. See below for descriptions of some of the FACTORY QUALITY ESCAPES.
1. Obvious rust on trailer hitch & tongue, undercarriage on wheels and I-Beams...insufficient primer & paint.
2. Undercoating inconsistent and or insufficient in most areas, not protecting the flooring underneath; wood floor just waiting to absorb moisture like a sponge.
3. Skin fastener heads (pan-heads) not flush, not completely installed into frame; gaps due to fastener method of installation using self-tapping skin screws.
4. Skin fastener holes not de-burred, leaving metal streams to rust and will cut customer when contacting.
5. Metal straps (underneath) not installed the best way...underneath the angle iron frame, rather than on top.
6. Floor fasteners missing frame when installed; just through the plywood floor. Wonder if that's the same for the walls that you can’t see that’s behind the plywood?
7. Frame welds have gaps, incomplete beads, and much porosity, making joints weak and vulnerable.
8. Floor fasteners not installed into wood, some stand high; safety issue for walk traffic.
9. Missing wall fasteners; holes where fasteners were originally installed that were removed and/or fell out.
10. Top rail trim, joints not sealed, rough and gapped.
11. Top, around vent, applied sealant very rough in workmanship appearance.

BuyerBeware - Total scam

Total scam. Bait and switch & the WORST build quality you can expect after spending $6000.00. This doesn’t appear to be a reputable company

After-sales process is a nightmare.

Deceptive sales process landed me with a trailer they don’t even make (even though they claimed to be the manufacturer)

Used the cargo trailer once and the floor was all wet near the front but it wasn’t coming from the door, but the walls. Removed panels to inspect, and the untreated wood is exposed to the road and elements! There are huge gaps between the skin and frame throughout which will no doubt lead to rot and corrosion within only a few years.

The final straw was when the door shut on me and it should have been dark. Yet to my total dismay, I realized there was light coming through cracks in the roof. The cheap rolled metal they used clearly was scrapped during production, as stress risers can be seen between the framing and the skin.

Electrical wiring installed haphazardly rubbing on moving metal parts just waiting to short out.

It took 2 weeks to get someone to call me back about the concerns. I dropped the trailer off for the ‘warranty claim’.

The ‘manufacturer’ denied my warranty claim because the panels were removed, yet one can’t verify the defect without removing the panels to inspect.

To add insult to injury, the trailer had a nice new dent from being in their shop for a couple weeks when I picked it up after the ‘warranty process’.

I’ve had this trailer for less than one month. I’ve engaged my attorney and the legal process begins.

[Update-4/12/21- TrailersPlus responded to this review, and I've emailed a response as they requested. I will update this review to reflect any eventual outcome.]
