For anyone considering doing business with TriWave Technologies LLC of Austin, Texas: BEWARE!

In early October, 2025 TriWave processed a payment I made of $1,350 for book marketing services allegedly to be provided by Barnes & Noble Publishing Portal, presumably a company TriWave had vetted and with whom they had prior dealings. The book in question had outstanding reader and expert reviews, yet B&N PP – fronted by a con artist named John Foster – turned out to be a total scam. Over a five-month period, Foster and his so-called “team” offered nothing but lies and empty promises while failing to sell even a single book. He has since disappeared from radar.

As for TriWave Technologies, a company representative alleges such fraudulent actions are taken seriously, though repeated requests for the rep’s direct email address, phone number, and title have been ignored. So, I have no idea of his position with the company. In any case, he claims TriWave did not benefit financially from the $1,350 payment, expecting me to believe the firm processes such transactions with a shady operation like B&N PP for free. Seriously? He further claims TriWave is not complicit in any way, and therefore has no obligation to issue a credit. Then he, too, disappeared from radar just like Foster.

TriWave had every opportunity to do the right thing here by making good on the fee. Instead, they took the low road, deciding that taking their cut of $1,350 - then turning a blind eye - far outweighed the integrity of the firm. I repeat my earlier warning: BEWARE!
