I would give this service no stars if…

I would give this service no stars if that was an option. Very poor support through work place scheme. A deeply uninterested 'counsellor' who never responded with any human emotion to what I was saying spent the four sessions I had with her reading things off her screen and telling me that my employer hadn't paid for the service I'd been referred for. Inhumane, very odd experience.

Would give zero stars if I could

Would give zero stars if I could. This company appear to exist to make money by aiding insurance companies to reject genuine claims by posing as medical specialists despite having little or no medical knowledge. Staff are essentially occupational health workers and nothing else. They are neither clinically qualified nor capable to make assessments on medical conditions, especially serious or complex cases. Luckily after complaining about the insurer’s handling of my claim to the ombudsman, the “assessment” was binned and the medical evidence I had already provided to the insurer from specialist consultants and test results was accepted. The insurer then gave me an apology and compensation. This company shouldn’t be allowed to market themselves as medical assessors.

We have over 3000 medical expert witnesses on our panel. Each expert is subcontracted and all are qualified and registered with their professional body (such as the General Medical Council). Each medical report is checked by our internal admin team prior to despatch. Our report checks are based on the Civil Procedure Rules Part and Practice Direction 35 in addition to the Civil Justice Council guidance for experts.

Any disputes or concerns about a report can be reviewed by our Chief Medical Officer who is a registered A&E consultant and has over 15 years’ experience as an expert witness.

CUSTOMER SERVICE NON EXISTENT

REF: 1417201

Terrible Company never answer phones, in time I was kept holding sent email in time kept holding on absolutely dreadful. The venue I was to attend offered no parking, so as I hold a disability badge was not an option.
Hoping they actually get my email. They will not be charging me.
Bloody useless company.

On review of your case, it appears that you tried to make contact with us on New Years Day, when our offices were closed. We do understand however that you spoke with one of our case handlers yesterday (2nd January) and successfully changed your medical appointment.

Poor customer interaction

So rude, send emails in capitals, given zero time to reply. Not even sent details and chase emails are arriving. Would avoid if i could
In respose to UK Ind Med. I did send an email with a complaint - But still ignored. My advice still stands, if you can avoid then do so
