United Carpets were great, the carpet a really good feel. The carpet fitter was not so good, had to chase all day and wait in. The guy was supposed to be with us mid morning but ended up 18:30. Left the room in a mess with carpet cuttings and didn’t take any of the mess away with him.

If i could give a 0 i would but the lad…
If i could give a 0 i would but the lad in the shop was nice enough but the people that came to do the carpet was a joke in to much of a rush because they was late then was waitting weeks for them to come sort a bit of vinyl out never turned up. Had to fight to get a refund on the grippers they didnt use but we paid for. So no customer service was a joke would never shop here again and i will be telling people to aviod because ones they have youre money they couldnt careless

Good Branch staff let down by shocking fitters
Staff at the Leicester branch were more than helpful when wanted flooring for out small bathroom. The issues came wit the fitter. He creased the flooring and said it had a hole and would need to be replaced. He dumped the cut off material behind the bath and did not seal against the tiles or bath. The second fitter arrived 2 weeks later spent 10 minutes saying there was nothing he could do, he did not seal the edges and left. I should have known not to use United Carpets after one of their fitters missed a stair with underlay. Good Branch staff let down by shocking fitters.

This would be a minus if I could
This would be a minus if I could , take your money happily, but then use independent fitters who mess you around had to ring 4 times asking where they were after being told different times,then when they did arrive they rushed the job and didn't fit carpets properly with grippers etc which were paid for , 3 bedrooms just glued down and no door strips put on , vinyl flooring bubbled in less than 24 hours, phoned to complain and was suppose to be getting a refund for bits not used and someone was coming to correct vinyl . No one turned up again despite phoning to check . Headoffice don't want to know and just state the ship has to sort it , so I'm now out of pocket with damaged flooring .Avoid this company at all costs

The carpet is good
The carpet is good, fitters were good. It would be very helpful if old carpet and rubbish were removed also the trimming of doors bottom were included or at least mentioned at the time when order was placed.

The carpet is not fitted correctly and…
The carpet is not fitted correctly and despite ringing the shop twice to complain I got told to let the carpet settle. Its still noisy when you tread on it 6 weeks later. Also we weren't told we had to take the old carpet up it was just written on the invoice so we weren't ready for the carpet fitter.

Helpful, speedy and did a good job
The young man in the shop was very helpful, and gave us a reasonably price. They were able to fit our son's carpet that weekend, and did a good job.

Nosy blasé fitters!
To begin with the process of buying a carpet for my stairs seem to be ok I just couldn’t make up my mind what colour to have. The man that helped me was very patient.
However on the day of fitting a member of my family waited in for the fitters to arrive which I was told they would arrive first thing. After waiting till midday and still no show I rang to find out they had gone to a different job even though we were on a time frame due to our jobs. At 1.30pm the fitters arrived apologising but saying it wasn’t their fault. 40 minutes in and I get a notification from my indoor camera to find one fitter snooping around in my sons belongings (jewellery box) 😳 I have this recorded… after letting my family member know and them mentioning it to the fitters, the other fitter then went out to his van and shouted wh*re which again was caught on camera! This blasé attitude to their jobs was shocking. Turn up whenever, do whatever, talk however with no consequence it’s disgusting!

Absolutely terrible company - do not use them. Customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced. Decided to pull out in the end and use a different company. Avoid avoid avoid.

Not happy at all. I have only found out today on the day of delivery that my delivery is not coming because product is out of stock. This is very poor communication.
