Customer service was great
Customer service was great. They came round to double check my measurements for me, made sure I got exactly what I wanted, and the cost was exactly what they estimated it to be. Quick fitting too, Im very very happy with them.

Poor quality carpet
Purchased a carpet from here in Jan/Feb 2022. By the same time this year (2023), the carpet was worn in the areas where there was the most ‘traffic’. It is a carpet in master need room so not a ‘busy’ space. Got in touch with the United carpets we bought it from and an employee came round to look. They agreed it had worn quickly and wasn’t the usual quality they expected. I tried to find out what they could do about this, they offer to replace but when trying to organise this or find out whether there was a carpet of better quality, they were slow to reply and we have not be able to resolve this issue. Wouldn’t recommend the carpets or the company as failed to assist us with resolving our problem even though they have admitted it is down to the quality of carpet they have provided

Easy to order carpet and vinyl online
Easy to order carpet and vinyl online. Communication great. Carpet and floors fitted when said and done a great job. Only issue we had was we had ordered 2 pillows with our order and still yet to receive or hear on when we may get them.

Warm welcome when entering the store
Warm welcome when entering the store, staff was very polite. Had a browse around the store, looking for off cut for a bathroom, couldn't see one I liked so had to order lino. Prices were very reasonable. As we were approaching bank holiday, I was informed it would probably be the following week. Was surprised to get call the next day to say my lino had arrived and ready for collection.
The thing I liked most about the store, was the fact you could browse without any pushy sales staff, you can take your time. Certainly use them again when needed. We'll done guys keep doing what you doing !!!

Excellent in every way. Professional and efficient. Helpful in store clearly explaining my options and helping me decide what was right for me. Great team work. Dealt with Malcolm initially but whenever you phone with a query other members of the team are knowledgeable and able to help. Fitters also excellent. Ashley and 2 helpers did my flooring. On time. Excellent job. Cleaned up after themselves. Looked spotless when they had finished. More than happy to recommend to anyone. Thank you so much.

Ok, but could've been better
The staff were helpful on the three occasions I've bought carpet/vinyl flooring in the last six weeks or so.
There are a couple of things though- when prices are quoted, for example the delivery charge, it's disconcerting when on one day an amount is quoted it's gone up the following day.
The other issue I have is with the 'free fitting' offer which apparently contingent on the customer buying expensive underlay which can double the carpet cost.

Excellent service. Took time to give advice, price was more than comparable to other places I had been to. Delivered in timely fashion to agreed dates. Fitting was excellent to cleared up after himself and lifted old carpet and removed without a single grumble.

Excellent customer service in the shop…
Excellent customer service in the shop and quick arranging of fitting however they’ve fitted my carpet wrong and I can’t shut my kitchen door as the edging is fitted inside where the door closes.

Excellent service till i found what i was looking for, nothing was too much trouble for the staff very helpful from the prompt of measuring to the fitting. The fitters were very very professional and to a high standard would recommend using united carpets

I visited the Northfield store today as I’d purchased a carpet from here a few years ago and the service was excellent. I need some new vinyl flooring for my bathroom and the young gentleman who served me was so helpful and friendly. I had my measurements and he checked them for me, which was a lovely thing to do. This is my 2nd purchase from the store and I’ll certainly return (I need a new bed). Fantastic customer service and great staff. Thank you

Friendly staff Gary was consistent with his support in estimating our need and prices.q .Came out measured up no charge. Very good price even when I shopped around Thier deal with underlay, carpet and fitting could not be beaten.

I recently replaced 3 carpets in my…
I recently replaced 3 carpets in my house lounge, hall stairs and landing and a bedroom. All different in appearance fitting on separate days over a few months. All was high quality fitted competent and hassle free by the fitters sent. I think the prices was competitive to other retailers outlets we visited and I especially liked the "no hard sell" approach by the staff in store. They recommended that we get the better underlay and I'm glad we did as it makes all the difference to the feel of quality and thickness. I wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future and would highly recommend United carpets to family and friends.

Fitted the wrong carpet
Fitted the wrong carpet, was sent a cheaper carpet and totally the wrong colour. Fit was dreadful with places cut too short, had to get a full refund and go to another shop.
