Ugly Truth about Urban Company’s Native M2 Water Purifier – Episode 1

This is a serious health concern, not just a bad experience.

I purchased the Native M2 in Feb 2024. For ~2 years, it worked fine—TDS below 100, water quality stable.

The moment I renewed the plan and installed the “Refresh Kit”, everything collapsed:

TDS shot up to 400–500+

Water quality deteriorated immediately

Since then, the RO membrane has been changed twice by Urban Company technicians, yet the TDS remains high.

So what exactly is being fixed?

Urban Company claims this purifier can handle very high input TDS and deliver safe output. But in reality, performance is failing right after their own servicing.

This is not a minor issue.

My father is a last-stage liver cirrhosis patient, and both my parents are elderly. Water quality here is non-negotiable.

And yet, the response from Urban Company has been:

No direct customer support access

Endless chatbot loops repeating the same script

No escalation despite clearly stating medical urgency

And shockingly, I was told: “Even 1000 TDS is absolutely fine and healthy.”

This is not just insensitive—it is deeply irresponsible.

What makes this worse is that the technicians themselves appear unsupported and helpless, repeatedly trying fixes without resolution, clearly lacking backing or direction from management.

This creates a complete breakdown of trust:

Product promises vs reality

Service vs accountability

Technology vs transparency

There are also multiple similar complaints from other users—high output TDS, questionable app readings, and resistance in service escalation.

This raises serious concerns:

Is the Refresh Kit degrading performance?

Is the system masking real water quality issues?

Is customer support designed to delay rather than resolve?

Right now, this feels like a system where once payment is done, the customer is left to figure things out alone.

Urban Company needs to urgently:

Audit post-service performance

Review customer handling and escalation

Take accountability for what is clearly going wrong

This is directly linked to consumer health and safety.

If others are facing similar issues, it’s time to speak up.

The bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly. There are water marks all over the glass surfaces. The chrome fittings were left uncleaned. Hidden spots weren’t touched.
To be honest, it was just a clean but not a deep clean for which I paid close to ₹800.

It has happened 2nd time in row with urban company that the professional didn’t perform the job properly.
1st time it was Mr Mithun Kumar who didn’t clean it well and when I asked him to clean it properly he kept cribbing about getting late and his behaviour became unprofessional
2nd time it was Mr Arun Kumar, again, he didn’t clean it properly and it was my elderly parents at home so he took advantage of them as they couldn’t spot the problems well.

The urban company keeps saying same line “Next time we will make sure the service is done well”

I would look to switch to another provider or local cleaner after this experience

We had book a booking for cockroch cleaning, but we dint receive any phone call from UC and No one turned back for the booked service and when we called customer care they dint give any solution and they disconnected the call use a useless service and worst customer service and they are not reachable at all, Request you guys don't use UC and horrible people ever

We had booked you guys for restaurant


We had booked you guys for restaurant clean up on 13/4/26 and then on 14/4/26 no one showed up .We were charged a rs829 /- for the same and then they told us they will not clean a restautant but only residential premises.What shocked me is they said they will fine us 759!! And return us rs 70!! That is a daylight robbery!!! ... We will be taking this up against you till we get this refunded...

Urban company house cleaning service

Urban company did cleaning service to our empty house. The professional uploaded before and after cleaning pictures. But it was taking time to download. So I thought let me pay first and take a look at it later. But after the payment, I don't see any pictures at all. I live in abroad. I can verify the service done by looking at the pictures only. I raised a ticket and complained at the help center. But they were not helpful in resolving by uploading the pictures again. Instead they are asking me to give them the images to prove my dissatisfaction. I'm really frustrated.

Worst service I have ever seen

Worst service I have ever seen. I paid online and booked service 3 days before. On the day of service their professional called me and said that he will be late , I said okay .
But he cancelled my booking by himself and company charged 200/- from me . There is no customer care to speak with. There is only chat support. And no use.
I haven't got my refund.
NEVER USE URBAN COMPANY SERVICES.

Unnecessary pressure to fill the gas, so that extra money can be taken from customer

Last time when I got my AC servicing done, I was told by the technician to get the gas filled then only will be be able to do the service of the ac.
However, this time when I again got my AC servicing done through Urban Company, present technican informed be that gas was not required to be filled last time for which I was charged extra money
Would request others not to fall in their trap.

Worst service provider

I booked full house cleaning services, executive did not come. Services was booked for 2 pm and still no resolution no once is replying properly. Three different help lime people called with different information. Trying to make me fool and no respect for client’s time. This is third time when executive did not turned up and given same excuse.

Recent days feeling frustrated with UC


Recent days feeling frustrated with UC booking. Booked scheduled instamaid at 9.30 am , automatically rescheduled at 11 am then 3 pm then next day 11.30 am !!!!!
Is this s joke?
Today booked toilet cleaning 3 packages. Professional arrived 30 mins late but UC send me msg person arrived will wait for 10 mins then cancel.
When person arrived late snd started drama that toilet glass has strach so he refused to work and not cancelled the booking.
No support available nowadays.
Bot has foxed questionnaire, which doesn't match with my issues.
Long user of UC but after withdrawal of tele service personnel service became drastically bad

had a very frustrating experience with Urban Company today and I want to share exactly what happened.

Yesterday night I was feeling very sick and extremely tired, with strong back pain after returning to the gym following a break. I wanted to book a massage because I really needed relief. Unfortunately, there were no available slots for the same night, so I decided to book an appointment for the next morning instead.

I chose a morning slot because I had work around 1:00 PM and wanted to rest properly before starting my day. I made the booking, it was confirmed, and the payment was deducted.

I went to sleep early so I could wake up in time for the appointment. However, during the night at around 12:00 AM, while I was sleeping, the therapist who was assigned to me sent me a message asking me to reschedule or choose another therapist.

First of all, I did not even choose this therapist myself — the system assigned her automatically. Second, sending such a message at midnight is not professional, especially when the appointment is the next morning and most people are asleep.

Naturally, I did not see this message while I was sleeping. When I woke up at 10:00 AM, I saw the message and immediately tried to respond and figure out what to do. I did not know that it was somehow my responsibility to reassign another therapist in the system. I tried to do it but I could not find a way.

I also messaged the therapist directly but she never replied.

I then tried to contact customer support through the app, but no one responded. The virtual assistant only told me that there might be a delay of about 30 minutes. I waited, but no one arrived.

Until now, my case is still showing as open in the app, which means I cannot even submit a proper complaint. No therapist came, no one contacted me, and my money was already deducted.

This situation is extremely disappointing. I planned my morning around this appointment because I was not feeling well and needed the massage before work. Instead, I was left waiting with no service, no explanation, and no support response.

What exactly is the company expecting customers to do in situations like this? This shows a serious lack of communication, professionalism, and respect for the client’s time
