Give them the dimensions down to the nearest mm and then the long wait happens where, it takes nearly 3 weeks to receive a blind advertised to be ready in 5 days. When the blind does eventually arrive, you'll fit it only to realise when you lower it down it's over 10cm too short for the window!

Untrustworthy company. Wrong item sent to us. After item was returned, they only agreed to pay half the refund of the original cost. In the end, they backed out and did not want to refund anything. I call this dishonesty!
Where do I start?! I ordered 2 premium blinds at £1000 each.
First I had to take the measurements twice because the person at customer service I originally spoke to was not aware you had to allow for 10cm to fit a spur fuse. That meant paying my builder twice as he had to come back to measure the space again.
Then, I desperately try to get some help on how to describe where the wire was coming out as you had to specify it on your order. They were unwilling to help and quite obnoxious about it.
I was also unable to get a delivery date from them. They do not produce this specific type of blinds themselves and told me they were unable to help me. They said it was totally out of their control and made it sound like they were not responsible in any shape or form and that the disorganisation of their supplier was the culprit. They were unwilling to call their supplier for me and check when the delivery would take place.
During the installation, there was a problem with the size of 1 of cable of the blinds. The manager kept on blaming it on everything he could (builders, mix up of the 2 blinds...) and refuse to even consider that there could be a technical problem when producing. He was moody and grumpy on the phone and made it very clear it was a disturbance to have to answer our queries.
I have rarely encountered in my life such terrible service from top to bottom and I am bracing myself in case anything ever goes wrong with these blinds. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY
Vale excelled on two accounts:-
Firstly they rang after I ordered to suggest a better velux blind pole and supplied it at no greater expense, then after Velux had a warehouse fire, delaying solar blind deliveries, they automatically gave a 10% refund to compensate for delayed order without any request from me, and the blinds arrived quite promptly anyway .10/10 for communication and attention to customer satisfaction.

Expect a painful experience - they did not manage the supply of my blinds effectively and failed to provide adequate customer service when things were going wrong. And on top of all that they are not cheap.
I ordered my premium blinds on 3 Nov spending over £1000 for 1 window on a premium Luxaflex product.
I received an email on 13 Nov saying the material is out of stock and the blinds would be delayed and no indication of when it would arrive. The suggested time on the website was 2 weeks.
I eventually received my blinds on 21 December. Between 13 and 21 Nov there were no communications initiated by Vale blinds to update me. I had to chase them several times to get an update. They seemed to have taken my money, placed the order with Luxaflex and forgotten about their role in the the process.
Apparently the blinds had been dispatched on 4 Dec. Nobody had contacted me to let me know so of course there was no one around to receive them and back they went. Vale have used this against me to absolve themselves of responsibility for the debacle, even though it was their responsibility to arrange/notify me of the delivery date.
Terrible company. I would recommend to avoid. Blinds are nice though. Just use a different retailer.
