Rip off merchants
Charges for insurance admin when we paid in full.
Will be contacting trading standards.
Thery did nothing to help our dog other than give us ear drops and paying £89 for ear drops and £30 for 5 pain killers ripoff merchants will be complaining to our vets as they should be running there own services. not subibing it out to third parties and charging quadripple for the service.

Useless talking to an agent — all I got was the usual line that they “cannot talk to me because my partner made the complaint.” Fine. I don’t care about talking to them, and neither does my partner. We’ve accepted that we lost the money we believe we were unfairly charged, and it was a learning curve.

But we don’t want other people falling into the same trap. And I’m certain we’re not the only ones. In our experience, they play on your emotions because you don’t want your pets to suffer, and before you know it you’re facing an astronomical bill. We were even charged for things we didn’t use, including insurance‑related fees despite never making a claim.

We were also charged extremely high prices for medication that, in our experience, costs pennies on the high street.

Based on our personal experience, I strongly advise:
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT TO AVOID UNEXPECTED OR EXCESSIVE COSTS.
If possible, wait until daytime and see a normal vet. If you need emergency services, choose someone else.

To the company: do not try to justify yourselves. If you do, I will respond to every point, and if necessary I will publish the receipts as evidence of what we were charged. Thirty‑five days for an answer is unreasonable by any standard.

Awful admin, no empathy or customer care. Charges didn’t make sense. Then threatening that they won’t “cooperate with my insurance if I don’t pay extra”, despite paying in full. Demanded extra fees just to cooperate with Petplan, despite claiming myself. Reception, nurse and vet telling me to “listen because you don’t understand” and yet lacked listening skills themselves. Said they were “more than happy for me to make a formal complaint and were quick to send me the link to complain” seriously unprofessional.

What can I say about vets now they are excellent from reception staff to vets place is immaculate.

Although we had to wait quite a long time, when we saw the vet she was really amazing help, in fact all the staff were so helpfull.

Staff were nice. The waiting room was quite rundown, particularly the reception desk, you could see it crumbling at the bottom making it seem unclean.

The procedure itself went well and service was quick. I understand that out of hours care comes with extra costs/pay to staff, but the prices are exorbitant.

Dont send the generic spiel about your price breakdown, just make it affordable I beg.

From the start ok but it’s money oriented
Paid £250 deposit
They have my insurance details but not done it
There should be a cap on charges regardless of day or time
I’m suffering financially and mentally
Them not sorting claim is adding to my bereavement
A 5 minute ultrasound should be no more than a tenner easy target to drain you demand financially

Posted originally on google and was removed by company , Was thrown into a room and forgotten about whilst my dog was left pouring of blood for hours on end , The first student vet nurse had 0 patience with dog and literally stormed out of the room with not a hint of any duty of care until finally being seen by the actual vet, Had to repeatedly ask receptionist what was happening to be told the dog is fine by the judge of her eye, Was then charged close to 1000 pounds for a consultation / a bandage which came off within 24 hours and prescribed a tray of paracetamol. Really terrible experience going here really hope no one else experiences that kind of treatment for their animals🙏

Poor advice. Wrong diagnosis. Inconsistent advice from vets. Really poor. I won't use again unless I really have no other choice.

Ruth was just fantastic from start to finish
Went on on an emergency birthing for my dog
Kept me well aware of ongoing costs before they happened and even tried a final push before had to resort to a C section for the one remaining pup
The invoice was different in cost than Ruth had originally told me and it was changed instantly
Proffessional from start to finish
Had 8 healthy pups and my girl is recovering well
If there was a coffeee machine that would have been useful as I was there from 1 am till 10 am
However that said day staff did offer me a drink when they came in at 8am

Having attended the vets with my dog after she broke her leg, I could not discourage anyone enough from using this place. The vet I saw was only concerned with trying to get as much money as physically possible from me, and when I said I couldn’t afford to leave my dog over night (£1100) I was guilted heavily before my dog was given back to me. They even added on £100 to give her water. This was a horrible experience which was stressful enough and made 100 times worse by attending here. My dog is now making a great recovery attending my regular vets practice despite being told I shouldn’t be taking her home to look after myself. If you need emergency treatment for your pet, please don’t attend here

From booking in at reception to the nurses and vet, all absolutely fantastic, listened to everything we said, from our dogs fear of strangers to strange environments to the problem we rushed her in for, she was taken straight to a room and canulated and settled down on a lovely rug. Can't fault the emergency care we were given. Thank you from us all

Lovely vets in an emergency. Wait times were long though. 5 hours in total, but good advice and very thorough.

My dog had a seizure and I called and got straight through. After answering which felt like a lot of questions (probably wasn’t as I was panicking) I was send the details and directions on how to get to my nearest center. I got there and the staff were amazing we were seen straight away and looked after. Calmed me down and Enzo was fine and happy and they put my mind at ease that he was safe and well enough to go home, they recommended I take him to the vet the following day which I did and we are looking at further tests but the service I got on the night when I needed it most was fantastic.

Good experience. The lady that did our triage didn’t seem to confident in her role, however the Vet was absolutely spot on!

Vet Elise was so lovely with my dog. Her manner was kind and gentle. She kept me fully informed during my dogs overnight stay. Lovely lady. Thank you…

This was a very expensive consultation that provided no value.

After waiting over an hour to be seen, I felt there was very little interest in investigating the issue I had actually brought my dog in for. Instead, the focus seemed to be on discussing and proposing treatment for unrelated issues, while the reason for my visit had little attention.

£324 later, I left with no answers and feeling like nobody was particularly interested in why I was there in the first place. I understand emergency vets are expensive, but I expected a lot more care, attention and reassurance.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend.

Long wait, waste of time, cash grab

First time I have had to use vetsnow staff were very helpful and nice

They were happy to see our kitten at very short notice. At out of hours time. Only downside was it came with a very high cost.

Very caring and compassionate staff. I'd have happily given 5 stars, however the fees are extortionate. Having to go there in an emergency is terrifying enough and then you're hit by a massive bill.
