Honestly speaking such a greedy company with their membership fee 499 $ to apply for jobs and then a whooping 20 % fee to receive any amount , for 10,000 $ that would be a 2000 $ fee , what a ridiculous joke is this . Even then, there are not many projects , No wonder why so many people complain, Voices you can do better

Me encanta el sitio. Entro diariamente para ver si hay oportunidades, aún soy usuario gratuito, pero espero poder pronto pasar a tener la membresía Premium. Estoy trabajando bien en mi estudio profesional montado en mi hogar, y espero crecer como voice over en los próximos meses.

Enviei respostas para dois trabalhos e ao consultar o site eles não aparecem como respondidos. Acionei o suporte três vezes e não recebi nenhum retorno. Em um dos trabalhos tive que assinar um contrato. Estou indignada com a falta total de atenção.

Been a Premium Member since I signed up about 7 years ago. Wish they'd bring back Platinum. My stats show I get hired about every 36 auditions. I've gotten pretty much 400 jobs since I've been on. Very pleased. The bad reviews people are giving are pretty comical. I've had ZERO issues with Voices.

It started out well, but now the experience is going terribly.

The first job was fine, timing was on schedule and payment was made in full. The second job hasn't been paid in full yet, maybe there is still some time left before the deadline so in case that's fine, but I still have to verify that.

Then I signed a third contract for which I haven't received anything yet (and no response from support).

Finally, they made me sign a contract for a fourth job, complete with instructions and a meeting scheduled for the next day, only to tell me they'd chosen the wrong person and that it wasn't meant for me (this, moreover, was during the second selection process, since I'd already been asked to do a generic audition because "I'd already been chosen for the project").

The platform is valid, and certainly certain jobs are too, but management and communication are becoming truly terrible. I'm now monitoring the situation and I really hope to see all the payments beacuse otherwise I'll have to make a formal complaint.

I am counting the days until my premium subscription expires.
I have just completed a project through this platform, and it was one of the most frustrating professional experiences I have had in years.
The person assigned to review my audio never even identified themselves, making it impossible to have a normal professional conversation. More concerning, they appeared not to understand basic audio concepts. I was instructed to "fix" or completely re-record over three hours of audio despite the fact that all files met the stated technical requirements for noise floor, RMS, and peak levels. I provided screenshots and measurements showing compliance with the project's own specifications.
At one point, it became clear that the reviewer did not understand that noise floor measurements are expressed as negative dB values, a fundamental concept in audio production. Being asked to redo hours of work by someone who appears unfamiliar with the standards they are enforcing is deeply frustrating.
This was not an isolated issue. On another project, the estimated recording length was presented as approximately three hours. In reality, the scripts produced well over four hours of finished audio. No additional compensation was offered for the significant extra workload. Any experienced audiobook producer can estimate finished length reasonably accurately from a word count, so these discrepancies are difficult to understand and impossible to ignore. I uploaded my work 4 days before deadline and was asked to "fix" the files and upload on a Sunday. Voices.com do not own me nor my time or talent.
The overall impression is of poor project planning, inconsistent quality control, and a lack of respect for professional voice talent. As someone who pays for a premium membership and has spent decades working in broadcasting, narration, and voice-over, I expected a much higher standard. This company promised change under the new management. Now with AI projects and its exploitation tactics and total ignorance of the industry it is even worse than before the current administration and that is a lot to say.
Very disappointing experience.

I started working with a voice over artist name Tristan. He applied for the job, accepted it and then cancelled the agreement out of nowhere. This platform is good but some artist such as Tristan from Canada is like a bad fish in the pond.

This has been a terrible waster of time. I have been on here for almost a year and submitted over 400 auditions and landed a $10 gig. Big woop-ty-doo. Compare that to being on acx for 3 weeks and just secured my 11th audiobook in 21 days and that platform is free

I got a basic membership about a couple of years ago as a Spanish voice-over actor. Surprisingly enough, I was accepted for 2 jobs, got paid in time and even got a nice review from the team.
However, I am finding trouble lately responding to some auditions where the onboarding always gets stuck halfway through. Contacted support several times about it, got the acknowledgment receipt (we will contact you soon) but I was NEVER contacted on this issue whatsoever. It is inconceivable that with all the AI tools at the disposal of the company that they are uncapable to put out decent support. Would someone please pitch VOICES a decent AI-enabled support solution so that we can sort out all these issues?

I believe Voices is a phenomenal company, but something is going on. As you can see, they don't reply to negative reviews here, nor do they reply by email. Is it like they don't care about their own business and actors?

This company is a complete scam. Most of the auditions are just 100 % mess, either the intake forms are not working or the instructions are complete different from and not aligning with the actual scripts!

Furthermore NO ONE ever is responding to any email, neither anyone from voices.com nor anyone who is sending the actual job offers!

I never experienced such crap company in 20 years of my career!

Been on this platform for one year. Landed one job which was smooth. But being in Europe I'm not usually quick enough to get an audition in quick enough as I don't work in the middle of the night! I notice most of the time my auditions aren't even listened to. Have started using some platforms in Europe and having much more success. Not sure I will be reviewing my membership after another year as I haven't even recouped my membership fee....plus the 20% commission seems quite greedy.

60+ DAYS AND STILL NO PAYMENT - TOTAL DISREGARD FOR FREELANCERS

I am beyond disappointed, angry, and sad. I completed a 21-prompt project that was officially APPROVED on February 4th, 2026. According to their own policy, my payment was supposed to be released on April 5th.
It is now April 11th, and I have received ZERO. I have sent a formal protest email on April 10th, but they haven't even had the decency to reply. My dashboard says "Deposit Received," which means they have the money, but they are choosing to withhold it from me.
As a freelancer who worked hard to meet their deadlines, being treated like this is heartbreaking. I followed all their rules, but they are failing their own terms of service. Do not trust their "60-day" promise. If you value your hard work and time, be careful. This is a total nightmare.

It feels dead. I get less than 20 jobs a day and half of them are poor matches/pay for the work. After 4 months straight, I haven't even recouped my renewal fee. I don't know what's going on with Voices, but I can't recommend anyone sign up for a service that's bleeding users and providing nothing.

So far so good. I’ve recently joined Voices.com and whilst initially it didn’t seem there were that many audition opportunities for me (Australian female), there seems to be much more coming through. Customer service is excellent. Response time is quick and they are proactive in reviewing your profile to provide tips on how to improve it to increase your chance of receiving more auditions.

Thank you for all these work opportunities you provide, allowing every talent to express themselves and showcase their skills.

I had completed a recording using the Voices Studio link for a project coordinated by project.team.c at voices.com. At February I ask when I will receive any compensation, they said bc I send my recording on 27 December 2025 it will be paid on 5th march 2026. And now after more than 2 weeks still no respond whatsoever, even I already sent countless mail to their support center. It's crazy thinking that company with such caliber would do such an act to their contributor, but here we are. Anyway, I've put my project information just in case some how they read this. What a joke to be laughed at...
