Same story like others. I posted vehicle for sale and someone contact me and pretending to be interested to buy vehicle from me, told me to pay for VR on vortexreport.ca/. I have original Carfax report and I could right away that this guys are scammers. I contacted PayPal for the investigation

Scam!! Not legitimate. Do not give them anything.

I just posted my car for sale and had this "Hilton" ask me to go to vortecrerort.com I googled it and thankfully I went to this site first and read the reviews. Thanks to this site and the reviews saved me from making a huge mistake. Thank you all.

Zero stars should be an option. This is the go-to site that Harry Hilton, or Harry Martin - or whatever other name they are using will point to to try to get your credit card info and steal your identity. DO NOT CLICK ON THEIR LINKS, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION, AND DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD. This is 100% a scam.

SCAM ALERT..They message you about buying a vehicle and demand you to get a vehicle report at this website. Another site is Bestvehicle.com, we offered to email them a copy of our sellers package. They insisted w8e use this site as they trusted it and said ours was fake. We didn't do it, I'm not sure if the link they sent was a way into our phones or they get the money from the website. Be aware these scammers are everywhere....I'm reading the reviews and Hilton Harry has left one lol he was one of the ppl messaging us lol. My guess is the first 3 reviews are the scammers.

100% scam, listed my car and 2 people ask me to provide them a vr using vortex report. Terminology used on the site is not relevant to my country.

Everything I read about people calling you demanding this report on your vehicle telling you they’re from far away and won’t come until they see this report and then ghosting you. That’s exactly what happens..

After reading other reviews, it seems like this site or those using it are reading from the same script.
Be diligent encrypt your information and don’t use these sites. Stick with tried true and verified sites

As mentioned by (surprisingly many) others, this is a total scam. Some random guy called "Hilton" reached out to me via text about a motorcycle part I'm selling on Kijiji... He told me to grab a VortexReports... insisting he would drive for far away, take a day off to come and buy the part but only if I give him the report... Do not trust this site. Absolute Scam.

Very shady. Random people will contact you about a vehicle you are selling. They will demand this report when you give them free alternative reports. Do not use this site or communicate with people asking for this report.

They use deceptive business practices. Individuals reach out to you expressing interest in a vehicle that you have for sale. They push you to purchase the vortex report then when you do they go dark. Don't use them! Stick with the industry standard carfax.

Please, if you find yourself here to find out if VortexReport is a legitimate website I’m here to tell you it’s a straight up scam. If you have a posting/listing of any type of vehicle and the potential “buyer” wants you to make a inquiry into that VIN for the $30 fee to look into the vehicles history what they’re really after is your payment info that you used to pay for this phony inquiry. The scammer that tried to steal my info was actually dumb enough to use the same name as his review on February 12th “Hilton Harry” just sounds like a made up name, I mean come on. Stay clear from this website and spread the word before someone falls victim to these leaches. Be smart and used a verified VIN inspection site like CARFAX

This site is most definitely a scam or scammers are using it for something I don’t understand it completely. Please please be careful and Carfax is a tried and true method. If you’re selling something online “buyer” may contact you asking for a VR report. It’s a scam. Look into some online forums in which the car community is talking about their experience with vortexreport.

Such a great site to get a vehicle report from. The report was sent to my email but it was sent way quicker rather than that will use it again and will recommend others.
